Greattestman: My mother has been threatening to commit suicide if I won't leave the house for her and her husband to be (my step-father to be). She gave me ultimatum of some days so I decided to call my uncle in the US and told him what was happening, he advised me to leave and get another house and he promised to pay my rent.
Two days ago he sent me 300, 000 Naira and I paid my rent 50, 000. I packed in today but my mother doesn't know my house and I'm planning to cut my mother off my life.
I seriously miss my father. If Ur storey is true that your fadas house will be sold soon,is a pity dat coast is clear for them .Ur mum getting married to a gigollo with no job. |

Dyke15: Dat is where u ve planned to fail woefully even b4 d election Mr. Peter Mba. Word on d street is that Enugu people don't like u coz; 1. Gburugburu brought u out ND people from Enugu hate him so much dat we can't wait for him to carry his fat self out of lion building. D idiot reversed every good thing Sullivan chime did nd took that beautiful state back to stone age. 2. U re a product of Ebeano family of which we haven't forgotten Chimaroke Nnamani ND his many atrocities which he committed with people like u coz we re aware dat u were a former commissioner under him, Ekweremmadu ND even Sullivan Chime too all Serv under him. But d good thing is that Sullivan chime ve cleansed ND washed away himself of every atrocity ND wickedness committed by the Ebeano family. Now the big question we re all asking u is this: RE U READY TO WASH AWAY URSELF TOO ND CONTINUE FROM WHERE SULLIVAN CHIME STOPPED INSTEAD OF IFEANYI UGWUANYI. SULLIVAN LEFT GOVERNMENT ND ENUGU INDIGENES RE STILL LONGING FOR HIM ND WISHING HE WILL STAY FOREVER. I wish u luck in ur race to LION BUILDING of which I know u ve won already coz Enugu ve no viable opposition to challenge PDP in dat stay ND many of us wish u go back to SULLIVAN CHIME nd ask for his BLUEPRINT for Enugu so as to continue from where he stopped. #CONGRATULATIONS IN ADVANCE# Nice write up but u spoilt it by saying congratulations.Enugu state will be worse off than Abia State,Mbah of all people,Ebeano dynasty coming. gforce5: So many Nigerians, especially on blogs such as this, have this warped mindset that all you need is money. They will tell you that traveling abroad is a waste of time. So many "patriots" will tell you that getting a second passport is a waste of time and that you are still a second class citizen abroad. These "patriots" will tell you that the money and time you wasted in getting a second passport would have been used to set up "several businesses" in Nigeria. What's that saying "money is the koko!"
Yes, money is very important. However, money is not enough. If you are up to date with global news, you would know that Russian billionaires are being denied visas to many western countries for political reasons. These are guys with serious money. Look at Roman Abramovitch. Dude's visa was cancelled. This is a man who was once the richest man in the UK. Even richer than their own billionaires. We are talking about a man who has invested more than 2 billion pounds into the British economy. He's only saving grace is that he's entitled to Israeli citizenship courtesy of him being of jewish descent. Israeli citizens do not need visa to visit the UK for 3 months. Where am I going with this? If this could happen to white Russians, who are Nigerians?
If you want further reasons why having money alone is not enough, look no further than the richest black man in the planet (Aliko Dangote). Nigeria's richest man said it himself a few years ago that despite all his wealth and influence in Africa, he needs several visas to travel to multiple African countries. Yes, the man so many materialistic Nigerians use as a template for success has admitted that his vast wealth is not enough to enable him to travel to multiple countries at once. As long as he only has a Nigerian passport, he will have to apply for multiple visas at different embassies and go through so many hurdles.
Look at the situation with Nigerians in UAE (Dubai). They have stopped issuing visas to Nigerians due to the idiotic behaviour of our compatriots over there. This visa ban applies to everyone regardless of class. One could say that Dubai is not in your to do list. What about others who have business there? See the way the U.S. embassy is treating Nigerians.. They don't give a damn who you are. They are rejecting applications like it's going out of style. Even the visas issued to Nigerians is no more than 2 years. Think about it. You have to renew your B1/B2 visa every two years. That is a lot of money. Meanwhile, South Africans have a 10 year visa.Turkey has cancelled electronic visas (e-visa) for Nigerians. What used to be a simple procedure is no longer the case.
Young Nigerian, it's time to give yourselves sense. Don't listen to people discouraging you from giving yourselves options. With all the so called money they are making, what is their quality of life? Health care zero. Education zero. Infrastructure zero. A second passport gives you access to better health care, education, business opportunities and other benefits. Most of your elite have it. Bukola Saraki, Ben Murray Bruce, Ahmed Lawan, Femi Gbajamilla to name a few have second passports. They are not fools. A lot of those Nairaland diasporans have it and discourage people from getting it due to selfishness and hypocrisy. I never logged in but after reading Ur post I have to.First of all you are kid and secondly u need a gud guidance. Wish I can guide u,making an average turnover as a non politician if 30 million every year and u want one to travel out, bros you can go for vaccation but not travel out. What is it over there,Nigeria is a sweet country. My kid broda talking like you travelled to Sweden but came back for holidays,I linked him up to a contract which he used my company to do,his gain just for procurement is 7.2 million and having seen how it is done wants to do more. Yes our health, power, road system is bad,but what will we do.Go on vacation and see how Ur respected over there cos u ain't gonna take shit from anybody. But as an asylum seeker is insult upon insult, bros Nigeria is bad but is sweet. Funny thing. Is it dey sweet sum dey pain sum but overthere is also painful. Enjoy Naija by travelling out doing biz but NVR be on salary. Cheers |

Lummoni: I hop someone will be able to assist. So my Aunt is a South African woman who was married to a Nigerian man she met in South Africa.
They had a child & when he turned 9 months her husband suggested they visit his family in Nigeria.
A few hours before leaving for the airport back to South Africa, his parents sat her down and told her the baby would have to stay.
After many words & tears her father in law and husband assured her that he would be back in a 6 months to fetch the baby.
True to his word, 6 months later my Uncle in law returned to Nigeria to fetch his children, but 2 days after he arrived he got seriously sick & passed on a few days later.
My Aunt traveled to Nigeria to lay him to rest & had to extend her stay because her in laws kept giving her the run around about why she couldn't take her child (apparently some rituals had to be done for the child since his father had just passed).
She eventually left after her father in law warned her that if she keeps pushing, they (his wife a daughter) would do to her what was done to her husband.
Fast forward 11 years later, her father in law, & mother in law are both late, she sends money to Nigeria every month for her sons upkeep but her sister in law is withholding the child, does not allow him to communicate with her.
When a neighbor tries to let him speak with his mother, they beat him up, sometimes he doesn't go to school and has to go sell water at the market.
My Aunt has tried going with the Nigerian police but failed, has involved the Nigerian embassy but they are dragging their feet. We really do not know what else to do.
Why would they withholding someone's child (a mother who desperately wants her child back) when they can't even take care of his needs.
Maybe someone has been through a similar experience and may be able to help with suggestions of how to get the child back to his mother. Men Can she pay me for the job, what location of the child,if south East easy but Ur aunt needs come down to Nigeria, accommodation u can give her but will cost her,I hand her the kid in Naija, both can stay in my house while she do her papers but will cost her.intrested DM |

Family › Re: Madam & Her Maid: This Happened In The Church Today. by akpunda86: 5:12pm On Oct 17, 2022 |
Stevo35: In churches, especially down here in the east, I’m sure seeing couples with their little helps saddling big big bags and babies during service, isn’t new.
My parish, a lot of families come to church with their helps…how do i know they are helps?
Their outfit, carriage and responsibilities, gives them out godu.
The couple usually dress to kee na impress. Their children dresses sweetly as well; pretty hairdos and nice haircuts mana their helps…
They are clothed in drab cloths and most of the time, spot freshly shaved bololo instead of a hairdo.
As i was putting finishing touches around the altar steps, a couple stepped in with their kids…one look and i knew who the help was.
They located somewhere and sat…kids from ages 3 to 9 go upstairs but since the help was carrying a toddler, she had to sit with her guardians.
The bigger child, went upstairs to the kids department. I didn’t think much about it…I see such, every Sunday at Mass.
Now when Mass started proper, I went upstairs to sit with the kids…i like going upstairs because i get to see everything happening during Mass, at once.
That particular help, started going in and out of the church…they stayed just close to the side door.
Now babies cry in church…not new but each time the toddler cried, the help, takes her out then comes back in when she has stopped.
The toddler would always want to come down from the helps laps but she’d grab her to sit…toddlers don’t like sitting still.
I watched keenly like say na wetin dem send me go church go do…i am a very curious person.
Now when the toddler tried to get down again, she missed her step and since the help couldn’t grab her on time, the pretty baby landed on the floor, on her face.
She wailed and everyone at Mass paused.
Her mother got up, carried her and signalled for the help to follow her…they went outside.
Something told me to go straight to the window and what i saw when i looked down, made my blaad run cold.
As she was rocking her baby with one arm, she used the other hand to lift the helps ear, to the high heavens.
Bent her over, locked her head in-between her thighs and in quick succession, land three slaps to her back.
The help came up for air, writhing with one arm frantically massaging her back to meet another uppercut, to the face.
Me: I was like holy mary!
Do you know why i found what she did nauseating?
She Beat that child then rocked hers sweetly till she stopped crying.
When she came into the church, that is, when she passed the door into the church, she genuflected!
Catholics genuflect to the crucifix when they step into the church!
This woman genuflected after almost splitting a poor girls back!
Jesu Ovie! A pity the poor girl found herself in wrong place.U are right,I have a house help we call her daughter too, drops her same time kids going to school follows kids back also,my daughter and son know her as their sister. People know her as my daughter. Well she left on a good note this year due to health challenges was epileptic we been managing but family said bring her home, took my kids months to forget her. It is well my bro,if I ever witness such I don't give a damn,I'll just hold Ur hand down. |

Romance › Re: A Prophet Revealed 2 Me Dat My Emere (fetish) Ex GF Is Behind My Setback In Lyf by akpunda86: 10:51am On Oct 16, 2022 |
Condition001: There is a difference between a quarrelsome girlfriend and a Destructive one. During the time i was dating this my ex, i couldn’t count the numbers of my shirt she Torn. Any small argument like this she will lock up my shirt that i am going nowhere and if i struggle to leave her at the spot she would tear my shirt. She sometimes go into the kitchen and pour the food i’m cooking for both of us into the kitchen sink or break plates in the kitchen all in the name of quarreling with me which i think is very normal in a relationship She doesn’t cook most of the time she is with me in my hostel. I would be the one to cook majority of time and she always said she enjoyed my food that i cook so well. Thats how much i endured this girls wahala because i loved her then and she gives me good sex and not over demanding. If i no get i no get ni that time and she didn’t because of that cheat on me. I guess thats why i still held on to the relationship then. Fast forward to 2018 december when we got a break in school i went to my home town and she also went to hers. I was thinking that the everytime quarrel will reduce since we were not together at that time that we were on break but it got worse. If i don’t call her within 5hours i’m in soup she would nag nag and nag on the phone which i also endured because i knew she missed me thats why she was acting that way but it got to a point that i got tired and couldn’t focus on my hustle again then because of her over demanding attention so i was pushed to break bonds with her noting to her that the reason i want a break up with her is because of her everytime wahala coz a day won’t go without us arguing or fighting over something and she usually initiate them. She was begging me not to leave her that she would change but i’ve made up my mind already and couldn’t change it. About two weeks after she called me and told me that there is a ritual she has to do pertaining her departure from her Egbe (Emere) and the guy she dated last must be there for the ritual to go well, she even said her dad was aware of it then that it wont hurt me at all but i refused to do that with her because i was scared and moreover i felt like i have broken up with her already why would she want me to come to her again. I faced my life after then but noticed that in the Freelancing job i was doing then and also Gee that i was doing wasn’t paying, not that i don’t usually see the opportunity to hit big but they always turn out to be failed no matter how hard i try. The only money i do see is small change to eat and do small big boy. I was so backward academically, lots of carryovers but still moved on and hoping for better days. My thoughts then was that, who school help i just wanna graduate with any grade and face my life squarely after. Moving on with my hustle i realized that anytime i want to hit big money or i smell something big is coming my way from the way i update my clients, i would just wake up with wet dreams maybe a night or two night before the supposedly Big hit reach my hand and everything will scatter that the client will block me or get into big argument with me and won’t eventually pay the money. I used to think that maybe that money isn’t meant for me that what will be will be…Fast forward to last year, things got tougher for me financially that no day will go that i wont beg people on my contact list money to eat, Although i had graduated then but still have some courses to clear because of too much carryovers then. I continued with my hustle with lots of Mercy Soaps (Ose Aanu) from My Alfas but still yet things didn’t change, anytime big things is coming my way i will always have wetdreams a day before and thing would always flop at the end of the day. So last month i went to one new Alfa and he revealed to me that there was a girl i dated some years ago that she is the one behind all my predicament and tough luck hitting Good money from the Work i’m into, he even went further telling me that i’ve been using some (Ose Anu) lately that they are working for me but anytime the work want to show that this Powerful Emere girl will always hold it down with her Tragic Powers that if i noticed that anytime something is coming up i will always noticed a strange thing on my body like Wetdreaming or cobweb fly on my body when i’m outside and on a broad day light. The Alfa told me that i need to appeal to this girl because she has registered my name in her Group as her Earthly Husband and i won’t be able to move and inch to success in life if she doesn’t forgive me and she reveal somethings to me about the then ritual they were going to make for her pertaining her departure from the group. The problem now is that the girl doesn’t want to grant me an audience one on one but rather chatting and i don’t want be chatting with her with stuff like that. This is not fictitious as i am not looking to trend on NL but rather to find a solution to my life.. Anybody with Candid advice? Lazy fella |

In the said mail, which has become widely circulated in the media, we note that the issue in question was a communication to her colleagues on the implication of everyone leaving the office at the same time and disrupting service delivery to customers. This communication was issued by the said officer without understanding its implications and does not reflect the policy of the Bank.
We wish to state that Polaris Bank recognizes the right of every individual to practise his or her faith in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and accordingly does not discriminate on the basis of religion.
