My 17 years old brought shame to me last year she got pregnant, I have disowned her and sent her packing. She is staying with her boyfriend in his family home.

She gave birth 5 months ago she has been sick ever since she had the baby and the boyfriend doesn't have any money to take care of her. Plus the living condition is not suitable for her in her condition.

Report the nuisance at Ministry of environment or state environmental protection agency. If they're really working they should give the culprits an abatement of nuisance notice to refrain from causing further nuisance.

I have been working in this company for about 8 years now and to be frank, I don't see any much improvement both financially and otherwise.

In addition to that, I noticed some degree of negligence and disregard for old staff, it seems the more years you spend in the company, the less value you accrue. However, I attribute that to the administrative incompetence of the Director who took over from the mum before she( the mum) finally joined her ancestors.

Recall that in April this year, she fired the General manager without any explanation to the rest of the staff, no staff meeting nor briefing. Shortly after that, she reshuffled the managerial team and employed 3 unknown persons who were never part of the company to take over the Management of the company, while she still remains the Director.

All these she did without any form of recourse to her old staff. I never bothered as an old staff until recently, when we started noticing some more incompetency in administration and management of the company. It rose to the extent that workers receive half salary sometimes without any briefing, allowances are not being paid and when they pay, they short pay us.

I couldn't hold it any longer as a man of justice and as such, I wrote to the Director after having meeting with the new GM. In my letter I expressed on behalf of other workers, the feelings of maltreatment and administrative Injustice, as most of them are afraid of opening up, to avoid being sacked.

Then after, the Director herself called for a general meeting and instead of to apologise for all these financial and managerial malfeaseances, she chose to tackle the old workers particularly myself, thinking that we were working against her. I still stood my ground on the path of Justice, finally she tried to pacify the workers by promising a salary increase, based on the number of years spent in the company. But then, I have been on her watchlist all through.

Any little mistake I make, she would capitalize on that to weigh me down. I now seek ur opinions, whether to continue in the company or resign. Good a thing, I have a business that even pay me better than the job.

1 Stakeholders in Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, which included the Vice Chancellor and other Principal Officers, Provosts, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Professors and Officers on grade level 14 and above met on Sunday, 21st August, 2022 to review the situation in the University

2. Stakeholders noted the socio-economic effects of tha current strike action embarked upon by the staff unions in the University on other stakeholders (parents, students, alumni and staff) and the plea by the parents. It further noted that the industrial action is having negative effects not only on the students but also on the University. These include:

a) undue prolongation of the academic calendar and the stay of the students on campus:
b) low patronage by candidates seeking admission to the University.
c) inability of Staff to meet up with their financial obligations.
d) inability to pay Staff salaries, among others.

3 Participants at the meeting deliberated extensively on the matter and resolved that, in the interest of the teeming population of our students, their parents and the survival of the University, it has become imperative for all members of staff currently on strike In the University to resume normal official activities.

4 Consequently, the stakeholders unanimously decided that the University Management should reopen the university without further delay for continuation of academic activities.

5 Accordingly, all newly-admitted students for 2021/2022 academic session should also resume on Monday, August 29, 2022 for screening, registration and orientation programme.

The 5 SE Igbo states have a minority population.

The clean data do not have emotion and that may just be one of the emperical basis to site major developments.

MTN is not FG that one can blame for using politics to site development, MTN is in it for business so MTN had really factored in real data to choose the take off states.

I am not surprised. The 3 super major tribes in Nigeria by population are the Hausa, Yoruba and Fulani. Part of the push factors for developments like this is low population.

The current low population and low urbanization of Igboland is largely due to environmental factors ( e.g natural disasters like gully erosion,hostile weather conditions caused by climate change etc) lack of security especially in those large unoccupied bare lands, low Igbo population, too much blood letting, emigration of indigenes and the fact that non indigenes are not attracted and incentivised to migrate to Igboland to urbanize it.

Luckily, all these push factors currently being witnessed by the 5 SE Igbo states can be reversed if the folks and leaders in SE are honest enough to admit these problems and deal with each of them. For God sake, the whole SE is just like the size of Oyo state in Land mass so if a single Governor like HE Seyi Makinde can administer Oyo state, having 5 Governors to administer such equivalent Igboland land mass should be easier and bring developments far closer to my Igbo brethren. Haba!

In my whole life, I have never seen or heard a non-Igbo saying he is relocating to SE. As a patriotic Nigerian, I am genuinely concerned that something is really wrong with SE. Igboland can not be left behind.

Government not serious ,advertise all positions vacant many young PhD holders roaming the streets will apply with new ideas and not stagnant syllables for years,
Government must after meeting their demands stop them from teaching in more than one University ,I never see a civil servant working in Ministry of finance Mon to Friday work in Ministry of sports Same time.
