What drivers give the police on the road is not bribe, but money for pure water. |
I'm so impressed by the comments on this post. @igochopur$, it's true that things have gotten so bad in this country. But I want to assure you that Buhari would make a very positive difference. @juman, don't just accept defeat before the fight. Just pray for a credible election. Vote on the day of election and let His will be done. |
@amingafar, no nonsense wey person no dey see on this forum. This are the few persons that have made our elders not to believe in the youths. What a sodding mess. |
@IshmaelD, I'm interested in the desktop it looks very neat. How do I meet you? |
@geerufus, I don't think dividing nigeria along religion line is the solution. In fact it's not even possible to divide. What about the ethnic difference? |
If you lived in the Northern part of Nigeria, you will agree with me that it was during the Obasanjo's democratic rule that we experienced real sharia. I don't think purposeful leadership has anything to do with religion. Whether we like it or not we are already one Nigeria. It's not only the muslims that make up the North and it's not only the christians that are in the south. So whoever thinks Nigeria would seperate is day dreaming and should better wake up. |
@medjai, I can see from your comment that truely you don't understand. But you're not the only person that is blinded to this shameful act. I pray that God would open up our understanding to at least know when things are not done the way they are supposed to be done even if we can't make any change. Wake up. |
@wesley80, abeg no kill person with laughter. True true pikin don get excuse. |
@deor03, your are very correct. Just like corruption, tribalism is among the major problems we have in Nigeria. It has become so bad that if a person steals from us, all we want to know is the person's tribe. We let him to go in peace and then begin to attack his region. Politicians know this very well and they are now using this to make us more confused. What makes us so sure that the writer of this letter is not a northerner? |

It can't be #1m. Let's assume that the university has only 10 American lecturers. When you divide #1m by 10 you have just #100k. So if $1m is paid to all the American lecturers. Then the question should be, how many American lecturers does the university have? How much does a student pay as school fees? Are these only northerners? Or you think Atiku is paying this people from his pocket? Pls, somebody should tell me how this concerns the north. No wonder we have become so confused that even with the sad incident on october 1st, some people were making comments just to earn political points. |
@sayso, thumbs up! |
@poster, you did not tell them that what you posted was a mistake. So how do you expect them to know it was one? |

In my own opinion, the prophet have just sold out the idea of using a suicide pilot to whoever cares. But the bible says; The weapon of our welfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2corith. 10:4-5. |

We don't even need a revolution! Some of this people are just victims of a contagious system. The NASS have very intelligent people of great experience, people I respect. And I think we need them to make meaningful progress. Let's use the opportunity we have now to choose a leader who will inculcate discipline into the system. A leader who would let them know that they are in there to serve and not to make money. |
Rather than looking for ways to change and solve our problems, we are becoming more conservative and more defensive of the status quo. Are the policies and problem analysis not becoming too boring? Do you think we can make any meaningful progress with corruption in our system? Who in your opinion are the most corrupt individuals in Nigeria? Why is the EFCC not going after them? Do you think the person your choose would be bold enough to bring this people to book? Why is it that people who have noticed corruption as our major problem are met with massive denial. More simple questions, |
I don't even want to know about the mtn new packages. I'm just hoping that Etisalat would be able to maintain quality of service with the increasing number of subcribers. The Easylife Etisalat Package is a good one. 25k/sec that is #15/min to all networks. Just dial *220*1# and send. You'll be charged #20 daily but you can opt out at any time you wish by just dialing *220*2#. And if you've any difficulties call their customer care on 200. In my opinion, Mtn have tried. Just imagine the number of subscribers on the network. I believe that with the decreasing number of subscribers, services will improve. |

I don't believe a true christian will not burn the Holy Koran for whatever reason. I'm a christian but I totally condemn the act. |
Pls, how can I get the glo browser settings. |
Burari is one of the few individual who have noticed and is always drawing attention to the issue of corruption. Let's stop pretending. There is no sincere fight against corruption in Nigeria, With corruption in the system, there can be no progress. Wake up let's salvage our dear nation from this contagious disease. It's our responsibility. |
This is getting very interesting. An opportunity for Dr. Ayu to tell us his achievements. |
@ bk.babe97y, I really like some of your comments on this post. I commend you for your work on IBB. Pls, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is another name in the presidential race. What is your advice to Nigerians regarding him? |
