Its pathetic for anyone to believe this strange conjecture concocted from deranged minds. It's just like believing the id!otic story that India once defeated Nigeria 99-0 in a football match. Very pathetic! 1 Like |

amosy007:If you missed the sacarsm in my post, then you're sense of humour is long dead. Is there a Christian Republic of Iran? |

Why do christians like bombing themselves? They are always the ones caught with bombs. I wonder what their pastors are teaching them. The day i heard the news that one out of the several containers filled with bombs and ammunitions, from the Christian Republic of Iran, was intercepted, i knew the christians would soon begin their crusades, bombing in the name of Jesus. |

winnie-G:The population in Lagos will always dwarf the 'amount of revenue generated in Lagos alone', hence the problem of meeting workers' demands. Before you criticise the state further, Lagos produces the highest amount made from VAT, but the FG shares the VAT revenue equally among the 36 states, bar population. Mind you Lagos does not collect the 13% derivative from oil also, and it has a huge population to cater for. 1 Like |

Did you say 'conned a young innocent bloke into marrying her?' Dude, k-solo got interested in her because of her money, not minding how she got it. So, the right punishment for infidelity is beating? I pray you guys were in a civilised society, you all would be in cages by now. Angry animals. |

Bontee: The university belongs to the state government so they can give it whatever name they like and so does the federal government exercise same right to change the name of UNILAG to MAULAG....And the FG can change the name 'Nigeria' without recourse to the constitution that set up the name? Are you from the lineage of military men? |

Chanchit:Hahahaha. That's naija for you, at least, the protest will go into the record books. The time bomb is still ticking. Nigerians are dying in instalments. But you GEJ didn't follow the due process before changing the name, hence their protest is understandable. |
![]() |
Chanchit:Silly protest? I think you're insulting the rights of the students to protest. And mind you, they are youths, so the protest will carry much energy. The french students gave a massive protest, sometimes last year or thereabouts, that shook the govt. They are youths, don't let us forget that. What about the 1st class brains shot mistakenly by drunken policemen at checkpoints? Many a 1st class brain had gone down that way. Living in Nigeria is risky enough. Those students out there are just the physical expressions of the frustration in the land. Frustration has either killed our 1st class brainers or chased them abroad. 2 Likes |

Chanchit: I'm sure the potential 1st class students would be relaxing by now, while the potential 3rd class/pass students would be on the street, smelling tear gas....It still doesn't matter. You don't rule the world with a first class certificate, you only rule the world with a first class brain, no matter your grade. 1 Like |

Bontee: Misplaced priority in my honest opinion as i do not see how a name change affects their life or studies.Don't be too sanctimonious. If you were a student, you would join them. Protest is part of the university life here. |

zangality: Racism against black everywhere. Is being black a crime?...According to Jewish beliefs, being black was a cursed Jehovah sent on Ham for mocking his father's (Noah) unclothedness. Ham's skin began to blacken as a result of the curse. To the Jews, we are a cursed race. Praise the lord, somebody. |

deenee: I always tell people that the problem with our great country is the mindset and mentality of her citizens! We all agree that lack of stable power supply is a one of the major problems hindering the growth of the economy. Imagine how many SMEs have closed shop and many others battling with running cost tied to power supply. Before we start throwing temper tantrums, I would suggest a cursory look at the transaction documents for the privatization of PHCN. The tarrif quotes herein is still amongst the cheapest in the world and is based on a worst case scenario analysis which implies that once the human and capital infrastructure is on ground prices will eventually fall in line with market forces. Besides, we'll all want stable power supply yet we don't want to pay for it. Of course, the PHCN workers will frown at this because it will no longer be business as usual for them and it has been stated that prepaid meters will be installed so we only get to pay for what we use. I was in Nigeria recently and was surprised when I saw a saw a friend leaving his outdoor lights on in broad daylight yet he will complain when he is slammed with a huge bill. In the US, I pay on average twice of what is proposed in the new tarriff, bearing in mind that I live alone and spend not more than 6-7 hours at home daily. God bless Nigeria!Your comparism is unjust. Is Nigeria on the same GDP level with America that should justify the high power bill? The $16 billion power project didnt give us light and you expect the people not to throw tantrums at another scheme intended to milk them dry? Is that the way American government lie to her citizens and not provide the basic ammenities for the people? Maybe you should relocate to Nigerian. Let's see if you wouldn't be part of those people throwing tantrums. 1 Like |

lacasa: Though OBJ is also a rogue n armed-robber esp wen he was in govt,Today, i agree with lacasa. OBJ has cast the first stone. Let the National Assembly bring up allegations against him and have him prosecuted. At least, he's no longer in power. But they won't, because OBJ knows they all hide their skeletons. |

ziccoit: Now that Mr John Akpabu is caught red handed ,while trying to blow up 3 ministers of Fed. Rep of Nigeria not excluding the innocent Nigerians going about their lawful daily activities, the whole story is a lie ? ? ? ? ? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hu hu hu hu hu hu hu hu he he he he he heWas that how the real boko haram bombed the UN building? Just strolling with a bag full of grenades (360 grenades? Na sack he take carry am for head?) into a venue with 3 federal ministers? Even if this were a movie, you would have complained about its poor concept. |
![]() |
The man should have driven into the venue just like the case of the UN building and wreck havoc but chose to carry his bombs in a handbag and walk through securities who were going to search him. Poor Nollyhood script. The whole idea is to neutralise the religious/northern tag placed on boko. This is pure sham. |

DerMeister: Messi should move to another club and show his "genius"... All the other World best footballers switched clubs or leagues and shone. If he is really great, he should move to another team. If he's such a phenomenon, why hasn't Argentina won the world cup. Why is he dull in intl matches?Messi should move where? Bolton, Chelsea or Man Utd? Even CR7 left United for a Madrid, a bigger club. Any club messi goes would be a step down. Both Ronaldo and messi now play in la liga, who has been better between the two, if not messi. |
