This has taken 3 months. I was frustrated, made alot of paid calls and sent paid emails and even sent an official complaint, but it has ended in praise. God has been so faithful after the two refusals I got from Canada study permit applications and the crazy amount of money I lost in the Process ( I paid a canadian registered consultant 3000 dollars + huge bank charges). God came through, after all that stress, I have gotten my visas. I could have lost hope after losing all that money and going through the pain of refusal, it almost wrecked my marriage. But I kept pushing because I knew I deserved more, I knew I was meant for more. This is the story of A lawyer 13 years at the Bar who is transitioning into IT as a Business Analyst. So I am in uk. My wife is the student while i am her dependent. I am working for this company. Now they got licence to sponsor people. I approached them or COs which they agree and asked me to pay £199 for COS which I didn't object.

Now they have gotten the COS for me. But asking me to pay £5k for 5yrs visa because I am a dependent.

Have anyone experienced such? I need as many answers I can get.

What do they want to use that your 5k for.
IMO you just need to change your status from dependent visa to tier2.
Go to home office website to know how you can change your visa status.

If you have a National ID card (Not NIN SLIP), you will be able to write your exam. When I reached out to BC and IDP some months back, that was the feedback I got. Just furious that they insist on an ID card when I can’t remember the last time I saw a national ID card. Apparently I learnt some people have gotten theirs. Still it doesn’t make sense to me that they don’t accept NIN slips that has a verifiable barcode.

My first post here, I lost my passport on transit and I've done police extract and court affidavit to that regards, now I saw on the immigration website that I can apply for re-issue based on lost situation. Now I was wondering because I saw here that there is application involved to be approved at Abuja or something but the online route doesn't state anything like that... everything amounted to 20k for booklet.

You dont need to go to Abuja, go to the nearest passport office near you. Nis official cum agents will help you out.

How does this requirement work? Please shed more light. Based on my research, I understand that I can buy travel insurance from any credible Nigerian insurance firm to cover the duration of my study. Please where does this 30,000EUR come in?
