For those who do not believed in existence of God, nothing and nothing can be said to them to change their mind. sad

For those who trust in His Eternity, we can only pray and hope that they, have an encounter with HIM just as Atheist - Judaism Saul (Paul) encountered on the way to Damascus.

U guys don come again with technicalities about quality of life oh.   I believed where your source of income is, there lays your happiness.

There are folks living and working at sango-Ota and far better than people living at VGC and working at Ilupeju Area.   Transportation stress and pollution is enough to make the income of that sango man far better that the VGC guy.

I beg, let's leave technicalities out of the question.   The bottom line should be, How many/what/Who , can u do with ur income.   huh
TravelRe: Is Living Abroad Worth It? by alanbolo(m): 6:00pm On Jan 14, 2010
Living abroad legally is advantageous, cause it will change that 9ja mentality about social and capital abilities, IMO
and if you are not able to get the legal permit, rub shoulders with experience pple to learn way of life from them and use it in the environment u are.

@ Kobojunkie,  I envy ur monthly expenses oh, I wish I can say d same,  But I'll choose NJ anytime despite the highest property tax in d nation.

@Busy_body,  I concur on ur postings,  while saying d facts. I enjoy d humor side of it.

@ Sauron~ and Tope2001, Please find me connection for SAP Netweaver with 6 fig.  anything less, I'll stay here je-je.

TravelPoliceman Kills Citizen At Road Block by alanbolo(op): 6:43pm On Jan 08, 2010
Business activities and vehicular movement came to a halt on Thursday afternoon in the heart of Awka, the Anambra State capital, following the protest by youths in the neigbhbourhood against the killing of a young Nigerian by a policeman at a checkpoint.

The man was shot and killed by a policeman from MOPOL Unit 14, sent to Anambra State last year to fight the then worsening wave of kidnappings and bank robberies.

The identities of both the policeman and his victim could not be ascertained before press time. The dead man was said to have hailed from Nibo in Awka South Local Government Area and had only recently returned home from his base abroad.

The deceased who was said to be driving his Red Toyota Camry, with registration number, Lagos DF 231JJJ was stopped by policemen at the Ukwu Orji checkpoint.

Eye witnesses claimed that the deceased had offered N60 to the policeman who had demanded a tip for himself and his colleagues at the checkpoint.

The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emeka Chukwuemeka, said the killer policeman had been arrested and taken into custody, but he did not give his name.

For several hours, the police battled the youths as they broke bottles and threw stones at the policemen. The busy Nnamdi Azikiwe Avenue was closed to both business and traffic.

The American that I know will not just blacklist us without apparent reason if not to guarantee their interest in 9ja as well as part of the world.   They still loves us and they will do everything to assist us as one of their present and future partners in Africa.  We have the manpower and resources and the only way moving forward for both countries is to look at each other policies in details.

The Nigerian govt have now asked the USA agents to view the Airport Visual Images of the accused from MMA,  this is a way to prove to them that we are not a terrorist sponsoring Nation.

In another development, the US approves $1bn facility for Nigerian banks, this is signifying their future interest in Nigerian trades.   http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art201001080543575
Our govt will just have to put their house in order, so as to give us a voice as well.

In as much as I felt bad about all these, it's actually beneficial in the long run for Nigeria as a country cause it will make the world focus on our internal affairs to find the why, how, whom are the likes of Abdul Mutallab that still exist in 9ja.   angry

Our so so govt have no choice now than to sit up for the world to come inside and see their clean/dirty behind.  embarassed

With respect to others, thx 2 Deji and OYB for their inputs, If the problem is solve let us know. The best way to get the recovery partition back is through a mirror image of the same type of system, once a recovery partion have copied to a CD, it can be used in similar model numbers and all is needed is the OS serial number at the back.

@ Seun-T, provide feedback b4 we take this problem to another level.

@ EmperorOlu, U have a point and entitled to one and whatever each and everyone can do to save 9ja from it's present state is welcome.
What I don't agree is u calling fellow Nigerians silly,  even with the event of AbdulMutallab, Nigerians still don't call fellow Nigerians stupid, all we do is denounced the extremist among us.     Time will prove us all.
BusinessRe: Is There Any Business Btw 2m – 3m, In Naija That Can Be Monitored From Abroad? by alanbolo(m): 8:48pm On Nov 25, 2009
OAM4J, I believed a word is enough 4 d wise.   We're all been in ur shoe one time or the other.    I deal with cars and trucks but the last trip to 9ja this Nov. showed me pepper when sales are not forthcoming and have 2 containers at the port with demurhages.

Only buy cars when it's requested for and if u want to venture into car/trucks, just deal with commercials only, however, if u're not sure that u can fly in anytime to pop on your-yet-to-chose agent/rep, then don't do it.

the 10 % returned on fixed deposits is far better than CD over here in d States. Trading in 9ja stocks have really depleted me as well over Mils but the one over here is not doing good either.  If u can't buy land tru any reputable institutions like banks, I will stay clear.   Your idea of a house is better than land IMO.   I still believed the African market has a better ROI than most part of the world.    I believed the share bonus and dividends will bounce my confidence in shares back, and pave the way for more future investments.

Nigeria will not spoil.
TravelRe: How Expensive Is Nigeria At Present? by alanbolo(m): 7:54pm On Nov 25, 2009
The guy ask 4 advice on coming home and pple were discouraging him.    Ol'boy, just come as you are and d only thing is make ur immediate family feel good about ur coming.     Was in 9ja last Dec to Jan 15th, spent over 1 mil but went again this Nov for just 1 week and spent less than 200k.  the next time I go will be less than that on pple and gifts and more to myself and projects.  The longer u stay away, the more expensive it will be 4 you to come back home.

Just come as u are, provided u have ur return ticket and a credit card for emergency purpose at the airport - if need be 4 change of date.

Just reading the guy's profile, he seems to be over qualify for the Job and his manifesto looks more realistic than a mere promise. Maybe Anambra should give him a chance, probably he will prove himself to be the best candidate for Nigerian president in the nearest future.
Just my tot. Though not from the state, I'm ready to do whatever i can to assist in his campaign, including donating financially.
