AlBHAGDADI, don't sound like a fanatic.

You're right in what you said, but then you took it to far.

He made that blunder of promoting his Church over Christ.
It's a blunder almost every preacher makes, same with members. Everyone would always promote his church.
Similar issue has been happening since Bible days, which Paul addressed in the Bible.
As much as it's not very right, blatantly calling someone antiChrist because of this is likewise very wrong.

Then concerning world leaders. Wisdom is needed in such a gathering so as not to cause problem.
Were you expecting him to start segregating or attacking people from other faith?

Paul said "And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

Wisdom is necessary as a leader, especially in sensitive gatherings like that. It's easy to judge and point fingers.

So what should he has said instead?
If you fly to Saudi Arabia, and they call you brother, being the fanatic you're. You would kick them I guess? Because it's blasphemous to you to refer to people from other faiths as brother or vice versa.

It wasn't a blunder, it was deliberately done. First, he invited them to his party, called them his brothers and told them of his mission which is actually their own mission as well.

As for your quotation of Paul, Adeboye never said his mission is to win those people to Christ. Paul's mission was to win them to Christ. Adeboye's mission was to bring peace to this world, not with Jesus, but with religious leaders of other faiths which he dined with.

Don't confuse Paul for Adeboye.

Adeboye is not suppose to call them brothers because they are workers of darkness. If he were a true prophet of God, he would use that opportunity to expose or reprove them, but he didn't. Instead he joined them.

Ephesians 5:11 KjV
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

I don't think he's a false prophet however I believe he's misled and very wrong to posit his personal ambition as that of God.

He's a false prophet selling his Antichrist ambition as that of the Most High God Jehovah.

His words sold him out. He said those things in the present of his brothers with familiar goal.

Religion / The Day Pastor Adeboye Proved Himself To Be A False Prophet by alBHAGDADI: 11:24am On Jun 28, 2020
What I'm about to say will appear to be an attack on Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, but it is rather an exposé to show that he's a false prophet leading millions to hell fire.

Some years back, Adeboye held his 70th birthday party in the UK where he hosted guests from popular faiths. The guests were leaders of major religions in the world e.g Islam, Catholicism, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism etc.

Also present was Pastor W.F Kumuyi of the Deeper Life Bible Church who is buddies with Adeboye.

Below is an excerpt of what Adeboye said at the event which is totally blasphemous and a bold attack on Jesus Christ.

"I have a rough idea what God sent me to this world to do and I’ve not even started. I am just beginning to scratch the surface.

"Yes, he wants me to be an instrument in his hand and bring the Redeemed Christian Church of God to every nation in the world.

"He wants me to work so hard that by his grace there will be in every family in the world at least a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

"But u believe that is just a small part of my assignment. I believe a bigger part of my assignment is beginning to surface.

"That’s why you can see here today several people of different Faith’s gathering together.

"Because I believe God wants to use me to bring together religious leaders who will ultimately bring peace to this world.

"It is clear that politicians have failed to solve the problems of conflicts and violence all over the world.

"If you kill a terrorist today, a dozen others are rising up to take his place.

"I believe that if we are going to have peace in this world, we are going to need religious leaders to come together and speak out against violence, speak out against those people who under the guise of religion, are doing things that God will never approve.

"So, I’m delighted that by the grace of God, the initiative we started at the United Nations some months ago.

"You can see already some of my brothers here from other faiths.

"I want to ask you please that on this occasion you will join me in prayers that what the politicians have failed to do, God will use us religious leaders to achieve it.

An untrained eye will applaud Adeboye for the above speech same way his guests at the event did. However, someone who is a true Christian and familiar with the Bible will be able to see his speech for what it is - an attack on God.

Let's dissect Adeboye's speech and use the Bible to expose it so that the world can see how much of a false prophet he is.

When Adeboye revealed what God wants him to do, he said:

"Yes, he wants me to be an instrument in his hand and bring the Redeemed Christian Church of God to every nation in the world

When Jesus Christ gave the great commission, was it for Christians to go setting up the Redeemed Christian Church of God or to preach the gospel to every creature?

Mark 16:15 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Adeboye thinks otherwise. He's busy taking his business called the RCCG to every nation in the world, not the gospel. Do I sound petty? Just read on.

He wants me to work so hard that by his grace there will be in every family in the world at least a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

To show that Adeboye is not concerned with converting people to Christianity, he said he's just about having at least a member of the RCCG in every family on Earth.

He went on to reveal that the bigger part of the assignment given to him by God has just surfaced. According to him...

"That’s why you can see here today several people of different Faith’s gathering together.

Adeboye had people from other religion gathered together under the same roof. He had people from Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism at the event. This is ecumenism towards a One World Religion which the Bible warned against.

With that single act, Adeboye proved that he doesn't give a damn about the Bible which says...

2 Corinthians 6:14-15 KJV
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

The below statement is what shocked me to my bones. I am even shocked that no Christian in Nigeria called Adeboye out for the statement.

"Because I believe God wants to use me to bring together religious leaders who will ultimately bring peace to this world

Adeboye says it is religious leaders that will ultimately bring peace to the world. Adeboye boldly declared that Jesus who is the Prince of Peace cannot bring ultimate peace to this world but religious leaders from Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Catholicism etc.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace

See

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus Christ will be the one to bring peace on his return after he has destroyed Satan and the wicked.

But Adeboye says it is religious leaders that will bring peace ultimately to this world, instead of Jesus. Unfortunately for him and his kind, the peace they will bring will come with sudden destruction.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

"I believe that if we are going to have peace in this world, we are going to need religious leaders to come together and speak out against violence, speak out against those people who under the guise of religion, are doing things that God will never approve.

How can you achieve peace when other religions say peace can only be achieved when you submit to their religion? Other religions believe in human sacrifice. Others believe in all sorts of evil, yet Adeboye says they will have to speak out for peace to reign. More like saying they should speak against their religion which they will never do. Rather, Adeboye, if he were a true prophet, ought to point out the evil in their religion which is leading the world into conflicts.

"So, I’m delighted that by the grace of God, the initiative we started at the United Nations some months ago.

Adeboye is not only dining with leaders of major religions but also romancing the United Nations whose goal is for a One World Government under the Antichrist.

"You can see already some of my brothers here from other faiths.

To Adeboye, all those people from other religions are his brothers. He's right, because they carry the same spirit which is that of the Antichrist and their goal is to prepare people of the world towards attacking Jesus.

Such people are not my brothers because only those who believe in Jesus and are born again with the Holy Spirit are sons of God and therefore my brothers, not people in Islam, Judaism, Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism and someone like Adeboye.

John 1:12 KJV
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Dressing or dress code as you put it is not a reason for anyone to be raped.

There are lots of societies where women go almost naked and the men there don't even attempt to rape them.

If you go to some villages here in Nigeria you still find young ladies going about without little clothing on without anyone bothering how they dress or attempt to rape them. Why is this so?

It's your religious indoctrination that has blinded your from seeing that how a lady dress is not the problem.

I have gone through your op over and over again and all I can see is you presenting yourself as a potential rapist.
Yes. Go through the op and read you saying that a lady who mistakenly exposes her thighs can be raped by anyone and you are not exempt from it.

My friend you are sick and you need professional help

When someone cannot hold an argument, they tend to make accusations against you. You are blind to the truth. I pray God saves you.

op you said many girls r rape because of indecent dressing. I have few questions pls asnwer me. many babies r raped some r months old, some less than 7 yrs , some maids even some mad women n even d old women. so all this female I mentioned do they dress indecent? And why is that d harlots that even dress indecent r not rape. plz no excuse for rape. if u can not control ur manhood is better u cut it off According to Bible.

I mentioned instances where despite dressed like a masquerade, some ladies still get raped. Demon possessed people don't need to see indecency before they rape. Also, note that some rape are ritual inclined. That should explain why babies are raped, even mad women. Asides that, mental disorder which is also demon possession causes a man to see himself as a pedophile only aroused by babies.

So, dress code is not the only reason for rape, but one of the reasons which must be addressed to avoid being a rape victim.

The most irritating part of this write up is that OP did not advice men to flee from rape. He is busy focusing on blaming women like a typical male.

Why can he not also add advice to perverted males and tell them to never force a woman no matter how she is dressed because dressing is not invitation to rape no matter how flimsy the dress is.

Tell your fellow men to practise self control and stop seeing women as tools to satisfy their sexual perversions.

Please, stop viewing everything from a male vs female point of view. That's why you didn't see that the death punishment mentioned is enough to make a sensible man flee from rape.

Friend, that is obviously the wrong interpretation of that scripture.

Lay hold in English always implies the application of force. There is absolutely no mention of any consent.

To lay hold is literally to place a strong grip. This verse is talking about rape and it is obvious, for how could a man humble a woman with whom he had consensual sex?

Be guided sir.

He humbles her by taking away her pride which is her virginity.

Lay hold is not force not cannot be equated with rape. it is simply to hold on to something.

1 Timothy 6:12 KjV
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Sorry, the laws are in effect for every nation that wants to be under God. Most American laws were straight from the Bible until evil Obama started changing them e.g homosexuality.

Jesus didn't destroy not abolish the Laws of Moses. He said so himself. But you are saying otherwise.

Mathew 5:17 KJV
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

That means they still stand. As an individual, I can't implement some of them on my own. The country is to implement them. This means that if I see a rapist, I can't stone him to death. But if the law of a country as inspired by the Bible orders his stoning, I won't be blamed by God for participating in the stoning. God ordered it, the country followed and the citizens carried it out. But doing so without the country ordering it will mean I have taken law into my own hands.

Oga you are talking in the rubbish! Christ has abolished fulfilled the Law and the Prophets. The wages of SIN is death, all sin, not just Rape alone. The soul that sinneth shall die, the Good book also says. Going by these, alone, everyone should be killed, not just rapists alone because sin is sin before God. Even that harmless little lie is sin that is punishable by eternal death. But God decided to show mercy, and Jesus paid the full price for all sins. So we don’t live by the laws of Moses any more, but by the Laws of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. So what should be the punishment for rape today? The punishment is jail time, not execution. How long should the jail time be? Well, that's up to the courts and legislature to decide. But if I was to suggest, then I will say, the more violent the rape act, the more repetitive the rape act (for people that enslave others for serial rapes as sex slaves) the longer the jail time. If the rapist murders the rape victim, then it is no longer a rape case only but a murder case and must be tried as such

Sorry bro, you are wrong.

Jesus paid for our sins so we will have eternal life and escape hell fire. He didn't pay for our sins so we can go out there and rape. Otherwise, what you are saying is that Jesus wants all Christians in jail because your point of view means they can all become lawbreakers because he died for their sins. Wrong.

Jesus didn't abolish the law but fulfilled it i.e he lived without breaking it. This doesn't mean he threw it away. How come you saw he didn't abolish it but still sound like you are saying he rendered it useless?

Now, not all sins are equal. Stop saying falsehood with boldness. One of the verses the OP quoted shows that there is a sin worthy of death and one not worthy of death.

Deutoronomy 22:26
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

If all sins are equal, why did Jesus tell Pilate that there is a greater sin?

John 19:11 KjV
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Please, stop spreading falsehood. Kindly allow the word of God to sink in.

I think that number three pretty much discourages premarital sex/fornication

3.) Consensual sex with a lady that is NOT betrothed to someone else. Punishment is marriage with no divorce.

So it's safe to say that the bible forbids sex before marriage.

But the number one scenerior seems like adultery

1.) Consensual sex but the lady is betrothed to someone else. Punishment is death for the lady and guy.

You are very correct in all.

Don't let Muslims fool you by the verse. It doesn't speak of Muhammad the false prophet. Muhammad is not a brethren of the Israelites. Muhammad was an Arab aka mixed people. Israel are pure.

Deutoronomy 18:18

God was speaking of raising a prophet from among the Israelites, not Arabs.

When we tell you people to stick with the King James Version of the Bible, you think we don't know what we are saying.

The NIV and other Bible versions apart from KJV are false and composed by the Devil himself to create confusion among Christians.

This is one of the reason I don't like religious folks, sometimes you guys even lie to defend the bible.
Op how come you used the phrase "force her" in verse 25. But when u got to verse 28, you modified the same phrase to "lay hold on her" , modifying the grammar just to downplay the rape being treated in verse 28. It's sad that the bible gives a pat on the back punishment of 50 shekels of silver for a rapist that raped a young virgin, and even proposed that the afflicted girl should marry her abuser..

Sometimes this Bible make some of us not to use our common sense.. How does sex between two consenting adults result to them being stoned to death. You reason am
Let's use our head o, and think for ourselves, that Bible na human being like u write am, edit am and print am. Make u no dey take everything wey dem write for there hook, line and sinker.
Atuolu omalu omalu, mana atulo ofeke ofenye isi n'ohia

Hello, read carefully. The verses are talking about different scenarios, otherwise the Bible won't have time to be repeating the same thing.

One case is clearly rape, while the other is consensual sex. Don't confuse the word Force for LAY HOLD. They are two different words with different meaning. See how lay hold is used below.

1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV)
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

As seen above, does it mean we are to rape eternal life or force it? No. So, your understanding of the word is wrong.

Also, the case being described is a case of consensual sex between a man and a virgin. The reason why he's asked to marry her us because no one would want to marry such a lady after she had been defiled by him (sadly, the world is corrupt today). Simply because she consented to it, she must marry him unless her father says otherwise as seen in Exodus. So it is not rape. Read well.

As for your second paragraph, if you had use common sense, you would have known that sex with another man's wife is wrong and horrible. No man can stand the knowledge that his wife has been slept with by someone else. That's why God ordered death for such. Death for the woman as well for knowing she belonged to so.eone else but decided to give herself to another man who didn't pay her bride price.

Use common sense.

Religion / The Punishment The Bible Prescribes For Rape by alBHAGDADI: 7:30am On Jun 14, 2020
The number one trending topic in Nigeria today is rape, and it is due to the rape and murder of Uwaila Omozuwa, Barakat Bello and Shomuyiwa Azeezat.

This has led to calls from many who say the best way to prevent rape is to make castration the punishment. While this seems like a good idea, it is not what the law of God issues as punishment for rapists. Is the Bible silent on rape? No. The Bible protects victims and encourages them to speak up and not be shamed.

The Bible gave different scenarios which rape can be said to have occurred or not.

1.) Consensual sex but the lady is betrothed to someone else. Punishment is death for the lady and guy.

2.) Sex that is not consensual which is RAPE. Punishment is death for the guy, blamelessness for the lady.

3.) Consensual sex with a lady that is NOT betrothed to someone else. Punishment is marriage with no divorce.

The first involves the lady not crying out when she knew she could get help.

Deutoronomy 22:23-24
23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

The first instance can't be classified as rape because it happened in a place where the woman could have easily gotten help if she had cried. Her failure to do so shows she consented to the act. You must ask "why did God say they should be stoned to death if it was consensual?". They are to be stoned to death because the lady has been betrothed to another man and is considered is wife. So, guys be careful how you go about sleeping with people's fiancee. The judgement is death. Luckily for you, Nigeria doesn't regard God's laws. Sadly for you, God could kill you himself.

Deutoronomy 22:25-27
25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

This second scenario is a clear sign of rape. The man finds her in the field where no one could hear the lady cry for help. The Bible says he forced her, which shows she didn't consent to it. This is rape and the Bible equates the sin to murder. The punishment is death, not castration. As for the lady, she won't face any punishment.

Deutoronomy 22:28-29
28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

This third case is consensual sex because they were found, not that she cried out for help. It is similar to a guy and a lady dating and having sex in secret to avoid the judgement of a sane society. If they are found, the man must married the lady whom he met a virgin. He must pay her bride price and must never divorce her. What if she wasn't a virgin? That case is fornication.

So, guys stays away from the bandwagon calling for the castration of rapists. That is against God's law which says rapists should be killed after thorough investigation is done.

Many who scream for castration of rapists are also guilty of death, for they cheat on their fiance, wife, husband which in God's eyes is punishable by death. That's being a hypocritical judge.

Matthew 7:2
“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

One more thing.

Many today will say the clothes a lady wears have nothing to do with her getting raped. I can already sense a good sum of them already slamming me a rapists for what I'm about to say.

The truth is, everything we do has a consequence, whether we agree or not. When ladies are told to avoid dressing seductively, it is actually for their own protection. Dressing decently and avoiding getting caught in dark, lonely or dangerous places are ways to avoid rape. It is only a fool that will say clothes or dress code should never lead to rape. That is similar to saying there are no longer evil people in this world.

There are evil people who are demon possessed. They don't reason like the many sane guys who can control themselves. A little show of the thighs by a lady can trigger that demon in them towards rape. Guess what? It is not only demon possessed people that rape. Even guys who think they are sane do fall into temptation. So why as a lady do you go about tempting guys and expecting a different result?

Why don't go buy a 65 inch 4K Smart TV and put it at a junction like Oshodi in Lagos. Leave it there and see if you will meet it there the following morning. Guess what? It might not be stolen by confirmed thieves. It could be stolen by someone that has never stolen before but got tempted by the package. So, why do ladies think leaving themselves in the open doesn't have consequence? Oh, you want to live however you want with no consequence?

A bank with armed security guards and cyber security still gets robbed by cyber and armed robbers. Do you think it is only cyber and armed robbers that will rob a bank with its vault at its car park with no security? People that have never stolen before will join in when they see money flying in the air.

When people tell you to dress recently which the Bible also says, it is actually for your own good and others. Don't listen to those celebrities saying otherwise. They are part of the problem. Their business promotes indecency, so they are angry that people are speaking against indecency.

The diva singer who dances unclad in her movies and music videos goes home with millions and under the protection of bodyguards. The females that get influenced by her actions live in notorious neighborhoods where the guys wake up to smoke weed and drink adulterated alcohol which they did before going to bed under the bridge where they sleep. How safe do you think you will be walking pass that quite bridge at night especially when dressed seductively? You might be dressed like a masquerade and still get rape right there. That's why the Bible says to avoid fields i.e lonely places.

Give wisdom a chance and the foolishness that comes with emotions will flee.

Hmm. I'm not one who likes argument but I'm not giving you an excuse neither am I trying to run from the English version of the Bible and presenting my own ideas. I'm showing you how to make a good study by considering the parent language before it was interpreted in English and you don't need to be a Greek expert to do that. All you need is strong concordance to help you during study
Quick question : does build and improve mean the same thing? Are they even synonyms?

Since you want to go back to the Greek, tell me how build doesn't mean improve.

https://biblehub.com/greek/3619.htm

Also, you concordance shows verses that show that edify means a building and also improving or building up or upbuilding.

Hmm. Nice analysis, but I'm afraid you got it wrong at some point. I'll be brief. The Bible was not written in English so if you use an English dictionary to define terms in the Bible, you may not get the point the writer is trying to make. Exampl: edify which actually according to the Greek text mean to build. So he that speaks in an unknown tongue builds himself. Let me stop here I'll be back later

To use that as an excuse is to say God has hidden his word from none Greek speakers. Language is language and nothing is lost in interpretation except when badly done.

Also, anybody telling you to go back to the Greek or Hebrew language before you can understand a Bible passage is simply saying he doesn't want to obey what the Bible says in English and just wants to form his own idea.

Is such a person Greek? No. But they rush to the Greek which you don't speak and come back with a twisted idea and use it to fool you.

What edify means in Greek is what it means in English. Same way spoon means spoon in all languages.

Edify as you say means Build in Greek. How does build differ from improve as given by the English meaning of edify?

I will advise you to stick with the Bible and stop forming ideas of your own.

Religion / The True Meaning Of Speaking In Tongues As Revealed By The Bible by alBHAGDADI: 7:38am On May 31, 2020
Please exercise patients to read this.

There's a huge error being taught and practiced today in churches concerning speaking in tongues. It has become so bad that people have become so comfortable in the error that they don't want to listen to the Bible when used to correct them.

This is what is practice as speaking in churches today: eskobibikilaka Shaka raka reke shamba. Iskala moranta manaksa manbi. Amba raka reke maneka shaka raka.

Nothing said above makes sense. It even sounds like a demonic spell from a Harry Potter movie. Yet those who say such usually say they are speaking in tongues.

Let's examine the first time speaking in tongues was recorded in the New Testament.

Acts 2:1-4 KJV
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

As seen above, when the disciples of Jesus spoke in tongues, the Bible said it was with other tongues which means other languages. Why would the Holy Spirit make them speak in strange languages? Is it for a show off or what?

The next verse shows that many people came from every nation from under the heaven to Jerusalem that day.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Obviously, these people spoke their own native languages. In other for the disciples to be able to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them into salvation, the Holy Spirit gave the disciples the ability to speak in other tongues. The disciples were enabled to speak the language and of the different nations present in Jerusalem on that day.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Did you see the bolded part above which says every man heard the disciples speak in his own language? This shows that the disciples were not saying gibberish that no man could understand. Read further because the Bible even listed the countries whose languages the disciples spoke on that day.

Acts 2:7-11
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Now, there are some Bible verses which people use to deceive others and themselves into speaking gibberish which they call speaking in tongues. Let's examine those verses and see how they have been used wrongly.

1 Corinthians 14:1 KJV
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

As seen above, Apostle Paul stated that it is good to desire the spiritual gifts but better to desire the ability to prophesy i.e to preach. This has been mistaken to mean one has to desire to be able to speak in tongues aka gibberish. Let's read the next verse which is the killer verse those who love to speak gibberish often quote to defend their ways.

2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

You see, when those who speak gibberish and jargons do so, they say it is not for man to understand because they are speaking into God in the spirit. An untrained eye or someone who doesn't have the spirit of God will be fooled by the way they interpret this verse.

Now, Paul spoke of two things int that chapter: The first is speaking in tongues and the second prophesying aka preaching/teaching.

Now, when he says speaking in an unknown tongue, he stated that no man understands that tongue. But when he speaks of prophesying, he says the church understands it. This must mean that the prophesying/preaching is done in a language everyone present at the gathering understands. That's why he says the people are edified by it.

3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

Next is the verse that destroys the falsehood called speaking in gibberish.

4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

As seen above, the man who speaks in an unknown tongue edified himself. The dictionary meaning of Edify is to instruct or improve (someone) morally or intellectually. So, how can someone speaking gibberish claim he's edifying himself when he doesn't understand a word he's saying to be able to instruct himself morally or intellectually? Yet, they quote the below verse to fool themselves into thinking only God should understand their gibberish.

2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

No, Paul is saying that just as the preacher edified the church with a language the congregation can understand, so is the man who speaks in the language he understands edifies himself with but can't edify the church with it.

b]4[/b] He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

Paul further stated that if you have the ability to speak in foreign languages, it would be of no benefit to the congregation who can't understand the languages. Such a person can only speak the language if there is someone who can interpret it to the congregation.

5 I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now, show me who can interpret the gibberish spoken today as tongues grin. Once the person steps forward, tell him to tell you the name of the language just as the Bible told us the names of the languages spoken by the disciples who spoke in tongues.

Why did Paul advise Christians to desire the ability to preach more than the ability to speak a foreign language? He says speaking a foreign language to someone who doesn't understand it is like a waste of time. But if you can preach, you will be able to teach and win souls.

6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Paul went on to even use musical instruments to explain his point. Imagine soldiers fighting Boko Haram in camp and awaiting the next battle. To ensure they prepare for battle, a trumpet is blown in a distinctive way. That alerts the soldiers that it's time to do battle. Now imagine the trumpet is blown like jazz music to alert the soldiers that Boko Haram is coming, do you think they will understand?

7 And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

To further bust the lies that speaking gibberish is speaking to God, Paul said if you speak words that are not understood, you are simply speaking into the air, not to God.

9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

He added that every voice has signification.

10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

Again, why did Paul advise Christians to learn to preach instead of speaking in a foreign language? He said speaking a foreign language to people who don't understand it will make you appear a barbarian.

11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

I know we sometimes sing Christian songs in languages we don't understand. But most times, we are told the meaning of the song and this makes us glad.

Likewise, imagine someone teaches you to say a good prayer in French, a language you don't understand. When you say that prayer, your spirit prays it and God understands, but you don't and it will be unfruitful to you. That's why it is best to pray in a language you understand.

13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Paul also stated that praying in an unknown tongue to the congregation will not get any response from them. They won't know what you are saying for them to say amen to, they won't be edified by the prayer.

16 Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
17 For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

The way these gibberish speakers interpret the next verse makes me laugh grin

18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

What they say is that Apostle Paul can speak gibberish more than everyone else. If it is really gibberish Paul spoke, then he lied to have said he does it better than everyone else. Let me battle their type of Apostle Paul.

Paul speaks in tongues: sikabhd akhakd mobanda nahuyri.

Yours truly speaks in tongues: jugataman husgeke raka shege shagu.

I may not have done it exactly how their Paul did it. Guess what? He can't do it how I did too. grin. Yet they say he speaks in gibberish more than everyone else.

Well, the Apostle Paul of the Bible never spoke gibberish. What he spoke were human languages. Paul was an educated man who learned under Gamaliel. Paul was also a widely traveled man and must have learned the languages of the people of the places he traveled to. How do you think he was able to set up churches in those strange places?

Yet, Paul would rather speak in a language the congregation can understand instead of speak in a tongue they don't.

19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

He went on to reveal that speaking in tongues are for a sign to unbelievers. Remember how those people in the Book of Acts chapter 2 were marveled when they heard the disciples of Jesus speak in different foreign language, their languages?

22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

Why did Paul say prophesying is for them that believe? Because it is to edify them more about God and build their faith.

Imagine you enter a church where everyone is speaking in different languages.

23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

Yet, people gather in churches to speak gibberish, not even human languages.

27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

As seen in the second bold part above, when you speak in an unknown tongue, you speak to God and to yourself which means you understand what you are saying.

Next time you see someone saying gibberish, ask him for the name of the language he just spoke and the meaning. He will look at you as if he just saw a ghost.

Any pastor praying with words no one understands is either saying gibberish or saying demonic incantations or spells. Flee from such.

Thank you.

Most of what is termed speaking in tongues today are falsehood. They are either demonic incantations or total gibberish.

The tongues spoken during the day of Pentecost were actual human languages. The Bible also named the languages there were spoken. But today, what we hear are eskobibikilaka Shaka. Histala ba ski Shaka.

What's the essence of speaking in tongues? It is to preach the gospel. For example, you find yourself in China and don't understand Chinese, but you have to preach the gospel. God can give you the ability to speak Chinese at that moment to enable you preach and win souls.

The apostles at Pentecost spoke the languages of the people present then who had come to Jerusalem from all parts of the world. The people could hear the gospel in their language spoken by Jews who had never spoken it before. It was a miracle. Read the account in the book of Acts.

But Pentecostal churches today are messing Christianity up with gibberish or satanic incantations.

Flee from Pentecostal churches today or you will be doomed in hell.

Religion / Re: Why Do Many Christians See Drinking As Sin When It Is In The Bible? by alBHAGDADI: 5:20pm On May 17, 2020
Maximus69:
Most people will perish because they lack divine wisdom {Hosea 4:6} God never condemned alcohol or alcoholic beverages!

@ Deuteronomy 14:26 God asked his people to drink alcoholic beverages in his presence!

But there is this man-made tradition that too much of everything is evil, so instead of concentrating on the word too much, most people will outrightly turn it to sin completely. God's word warned us about

FOOD~ Luke 21:34
MONEY~ 1Timothy 6:9-10; Matthew 6:24
WOMEN~ Proverbs 7:10-27
GATHERING~ Psalms 1:1

All of these their man-made tradition can't emphasize because they lack intelligence, it is alcoholic beverages that Jesus himself drank {Luke 7:31-35} that they'll be spewing gibberish over it!

Jesus explained that John the baptist came neither eating delicacies nor drinking beverages, the people said "John is possessed" but he (Jesus) ate their food and drank their drinks yet they say "a glutton and a drunkard a friend of tax collectors and sinners"

Please what type of drinks did Jesus drank in the presence of eyewitnesses before they could refer to him as drunkard?

Shey na Coca-Cola? embarassed

I wanted to allow this post of yours slide because of your usual talk of Jehovah's false witnesses being the "only group blah blah blah", but I changed my mind.

Let me show you how wrong you are which will prove that you JW aren't Bible students as you love to claim.

You quoted Deutoronomy with claims that God told his people to drink alcohol in his presence. Let's examine the verse.

Deuteronomy 14:26 (KJV)
And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

Please, where in the verse above are people told to drink the strong drink/alcohol and in God's presence? Are the individuals also told to eat a full oxen or sheep? I wonder the size of stomach each individual had in Bible times grin.

The passage is not saying they should drink alcohol/strong drink. The alcohol and oxen are to be given to the temple which would be sacrificed to God. Have you ever heard of drink offering? Look below.

Numbers 28:7-8
Then the drink offering with it shall be a fourth of a hin for each lamb, in the holy place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the LORD The other lamb you shall offer at twilight; as the grain offering of the morning and as its drink offering, you shall offer it, an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the LORD

As seen above, the strong drink is used for a drink offering to the Lord. That's why if you look at that chapter where you pulled out that Deutoronomy verse from, you will see that it is talking about offering to God aka tithe in a sense.

See more here: https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Drink-Offering

It is only a Jehovah's False Witness that will say Jesus drank alcohol. Jesus never said such himself. He was only speaking of the false accusations people said about him and John the Baptist.

If you say Jesus drank alcohol, then you must agree that John the Baptist was possessed with a demon.

John was never possessed with a demon. So why do you believe that Jesus drank alcohol as coming from the mouth of his accusers?

So, Mr Jehovah's false witness, go ahead and guzzle alcohol as you like, but don't ever say the Bible supports it. Or is that what you guys go about preaching with your black bags? grin
Religion / Re: Why Are Burnt Offerings No Longer Practiced Anymore? by alBHAGDADI: 6:58am On May 10, 2020
Animal sacrifices were symbolic. They symbolized the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross which is why he's refered to as the Holy Lamb.

Since he has come and done the sacrifice, there is no longer need for the symbolic animal sacrifices.

MrPRevailer:

There will be saints after the rapture. The left behind, lukewarm, compromising believers will finally WAKEUP TO RIGHTEOUSNESS. They will fear for what is going to happen to them and brace themselves in Christ Jesus.
In the parable of the 10virgins, 5 were prepared, 5 were unprepared. They are all virgins. The unprepared will pass through the great tribulation.

Read Revelations 13:8. You will see that the Great tribulation is not a time of Preparation. It is a time of SEPERATION of sheep and goats. Those who take the mark are the goats. Those who refuse till death are the sheep.

Jesus gave many instance of the time of Preparation. E.g in an open field, one will be taken, the other left etc.

In the Antichrist time, it is take or die. And no fleeing christian will be working in an open field, or grinding a mill, But hiding.

Very wrong. There is nothing like lukewarm. Christian to God. If you are lukewarm, he will spot you out.

Revelation 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

So, anybody he rejects is rejected for life.

As for the parable of the Ten virgins which you try to use to illustrate your point to say there will be saints left on Earth after your version of rapture; Kindly show me where Jesus later accepted the five virgins who had no lamp? Kindly show me so I can see that Jesus will later accept the "saints" left behind. grin
