Why is it that these days women see their capacity to disrespect their husband with him not complaining as a sign of how much he loves her. I think this is sick. Do we have to treat our partner bad to get a confirmation of their love? What if your hubby or guy felt that he had to have sex with all your friends and expects that you won't complain if you love him. Would you accept that. Let's stop the nonesense. Love is expressed via kindness and consideration and respect not by testing how much bad treatment the other person can take.

becos the nigerian people in general and the nigerian woman in particular are materialistic. its a product of our enviroment. poverty mentality. if they cant exchange your gift for some money then its worth nothing. we just havent gotten to the point where we can appreciate people for just for thinking of giving us a gift. maybe when 80% or nigerians rise over the poverty line we will learn to appreciate flowers

while i am not saying that having a career as a woman or getting current or contemporary in your style is a bad thing i strongly feel that most women are misplacing their values. being a wife is cool cos there really is no gain in having everything if you dont have someone to share it with. but its really all a choice thing.
