A PhD fees under half a million Naira?? Let's be honest, it's quite underpriced.
Truth is govt has no business subsidizing such programs. If one is lucky to get scholarship or funding, then fine. But as far I'm concerned, such programs should reflect actual market prices |

Celebrities › Re: On Pastor Tunde Bakare Opinion On Mohbad Passing (my Honest Response) by alezzy13: 12:46pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
ebubeson: Please think logically before you call anyone hypocrite. Do not call the pastor hypocrite because even the so-called hypocrite may have a good advice that is usable for you.
MOHBAD is possibly a very very great guy whom people may have capitalized on. Some people have good heart, and if they are not watchful, they may be over-used and killed. That may be MOHBAD's case.
Who is a hypocrite? "Is probably the one that has never protested the killings of people in Southern Kaduna, Benue, Jos and other places in Nigeria, but is protesting about MOHBAD's case". Protesting about MOHBAD's case is good too. Keep loving everyone.
Keep loving Yoruba people.
Keep loving Hausa people.
Keep loving Igbo people.
Keep loving great and wonderful Mbaise people.
Keep loving all tribes in Nigeria.
Nigeria will be great again if we cooperate for progress and stop these hypocrisies. @bolded, that sums it up. Just for the record, I have nothing against Mohbad, and commiserate with the family over the painful loss. But I find it quite offensive the way some folks are going about it. On nairaland one can count a dozen threads on his death. Yet Hundreds, nay thousands, that are mindlessly slaughtered all over the country, no one has yet to demonstrate over it. Haba!! |

DaRuud: I remembered in 2012 in Yauri , Kebbi State , we went for a football match , we had 2 hours before kickoff , one of our players strolled around to buy some fruits , the next thing is that someone hit him by the shoulder immediately he felt cold all over him and the next thing is that he said his Manhood disappeared , Quickly he grabbed the person that hit him , before we got to the spot, they ve been taken to the police station , the culprits confessed " stealing " the manhood but he returned it back after an hour , we asked the victim if it's back and functional , he confirmed yes , With that downed spirit , we lost the match 4 -0 , but we were happy he got his " balls" back . Sometimes I hold my " Area 1" with my trousers when entering crowded place . Did anyone verify that the manhood was actually missing before it was returned?? |

Well background in business and public administration is encouraging.
I've argued CBN needs less of textbook accountants or economists, usually so full of thier macroeconomic theories with very little impact in practice. We need more practice-oriented technocrats. I wish him the best |

But appointing two former governors that failed as Chief security officer of their respective states, Ministers of Defense is an all time low..
You are on your own if you dey wait for explanation. You go wait taya. Well not holding brief, but it's actually a political position. One doesn't have to have military background. As MoD, he's mainly in control of the budget, defending same before NASS, receiving briefings from the service chiefs and provideing updates to FEC and of course Tinubu Strategic, tactical, operational, functions are fully within the purview of the service chiefs. |

imoh4king: Is it nairalanders or Nigerian youths that are clouded with ignorance?
There are certain measures employed by Central Banks globally to ease depreciation of any particular currency. One of such is QUANTITATIVE EASING.... This is when the depreciating cash is pumped into the economy which will ease supply of the quoted currency thereby strengthening it.
The second method is REDUCTION IN MONETARY INTEREST RATE.... This is the borrowing interest rate pegged by the Central Bank of the depreciating economy to attract foreign investors which also strengthens the base currency.
There are numerous other methods...
Read up. Seriously? QE at such galloping inflation like ours?? which kin economic theory be this? |
