For me that was the best decision by the president. According to Thisday Newspaper it was a deft political move because there was no easy way out of the crises. The court litigations were just too much that if not by this president intervention the courts would have feasted on the party. However with this move by the president the whole issues in court has been brought to an abrupt end. Oshiomole and all those who feel aggrieved by the president decision should take it in good faith, learn the necessary lessons from it and plan better next time.

Lagos , with the highest revenue in Nigeria earned 397 billion naira in 2018. I00 billion is just 258 million dollars and 400 billion naira is 1.03 billion dollars. This means that an American Rapper Kanye West is worth more than the 2018 revenue of Lagos State.
They collected all the revenues in naira. Before declaring the revenue Mc Olomo will take a bit of the transport revenue, Ambode would have taken his share . But what they steal is nothing near the 397 billion naira that was declared as earned by Lagos in 2018. If MC OLOMO or Ambode wants to stack stack the money abroad, it has to be in dollars and to get the dollars from CBN, he must have a genuine reason like paying wards school fees abroad or financing imports. No matter what, the CBN will not be stupid to exchange up to 256 million scarce dollars with 100 billion stolen naira because it will result lessen Nigeria's dollars reserve.

The money collected in Naira can be used to pay salaries, build houses in Nigeria without stress but for it to be stacked abroad it has to be exchanged.

Hello nigerians!! I do hope we all are staying safe and adhering to the health rules set by health officials(its for our own good anyway) ok to my main subject matter, I noticed for almost a week now, I am unable to smell or taste anything.

And NO it's neither corona nor cold,and it's not a matter of if one is asymptomatic or not. I realized I woke up one morning, and I had this weird feeling about something not being right with me, while I was trying to figure out what it was, I went about doing my daily routine first of in the shower, I practically couldn't smell my soap(fragrance I usually enjoy in the bathroom) I got worried and a bit scared, and thought probably someone tampered with my soap, I discarded it.

Then it got to the point where I had to eat my meal, I also discovered it had no aroma nor taste, (I could only feel the pepper sadly) then I knew I'd temporarily lost one important part of my life.

This is me that enjoy the smell of a rainy day.., the taste of chocolates, the fragrance of my soap, the burnt smell of party jollof rice, e.t.c. All those time I took it for granted I truly miss it now, cos I wish this is something I can control, but its happening to me and I have no control over it.

its just the memories of how things ought to smell I'm left with. Anyways its an experience never to be forgotten and I await the day my taste buds will be reactivated, and my sense of smell returns. For now, its just me and my imaginary sense of smell and taste.

P.S no one should come into my DM to start preaching the corona talk to me I ain't hearing it.

Last month my friend who was having symptoms of covid19, went to the nearest testing center where they collected his blood sample and contact details. They told him to go home, that they will contact him once his test result is out. He waited for one week, two weeks, they didn't contact him. He had to rely on self medication to treat himself and got better a week plus.

One month later (early June) when he thought everything was over (the corona virus scare), he received a call from NCDC Edo state that he is covid19 positive according to the result of his test. They arranged the time and day they will be coming to pick him up. He was told that if he should flee he would be place on police wanted list.

When they came to pick him up, no matter how many times he told them he no longer has symptoms of covid19 and was already OK, they did not listen him. They bundled him to the isolation center. My friend is currently at the isolation center as I type, despite the fact that he had long recovered from whatever illness he had.
