Christianity Etc › Re: Rev Father Kelvin Ugwu: Understanding The Significance Of First Fruit And Tithes by alezzy13: 2:50pm On Sep 01, 2019
When He asked Abel and Cain to make a sacrifice to Him, it was not because he ate fruit or even drank blood of rams. It is simply to test how committed we are, how willing are we to leave everything to Him. Do we, like Cain, select offerings that we no longer desire and give to Him or do we, like Abel, empty everything to Him?

The real question for me is, do we really NEED a 5G tech?

I use 3G+ here at close to 4 MB/s download and it's more than okay for my needs, which includes seamless stream of HD videos.

For me the major issue is not speed but stability. If we can be assured of constant 3G speeds, especially for financial transactions, then there shouldn't be any problem.

4G and above are nonsense, IMO

Whether the coven of broom waving demons and men of gigantic corruption scales likes it or not, His Excellency, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is on a class of his own: an enviable height never to be attained by cow enthusiasts and men of little intellect not higher than Tacha's eyebrow.[/s]

This made very painful reading.

I'm sure if Buhari had negotiated with the company early on, they might have paid off the company with about $300m rather than the $850m.

A tough negotiator I'm sure could have extracted such a deal if they assured the company of immediate payment or confirm structured payments. The company would have preferred this rather than the seizing of elusive government owned assets worldwide.

A complete lack of professionalism was the Nigeria's undoing.

Buharist need to understand that no matter how much integrity a man has, it can not make up for his intellectual deficit.
Pay $300m for WHAT?? A deal that was fraudulent right from go?

That the second in command could openly claim he knew nothing about a deal of such humongous value is itself not an admission of fraud??

That your darling GEJ could not sort it out for the almost six years of his presidency is indicting enough but now push the blame to PMB is absolutely sickening

FYI, am not particularly a PMB fan, but let's try to be objective for once

The Bakassi peninsula was given to Cameroon because a "bunch of papers were signed".
We have successively always voted in governments who are reactive rather than proactive. This government for some reason just added the 'blame it on the previous administration' to that regular playbook.
What scares me is that the way things work in Nigeria successive governments will continue to use this passing the blame tactics and the citizenry will continue to bicker amongst ourselves based on some sentimental, tribal or religious attachment.
I fear for our future.
Apples and oranges, sir. Yes It was just a piece of paper, but due process was followed. That we later regretted the action was of no consequence, hence the ICJ threw out our case.

1.In the case of PID, it's a clear case of fraud.
2.Deal worth almost a sixth of our budget did not pass thru FEC at that time, AS THE LAW PROVIDES.
3.Country's Second in command evidently did not know about it
4.Papers were allegedly smuggled to Saudi for a frail Yardua to sign. Allegations even abound that his signature was forged.
5.DUE PROCESS WAS NOT FOLLOWED.

Does it not seem just a tiny suspicious that PID would have loved PMB to quickly approve the 850m FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING??

[s]P&ID went to Court in 2013.

The contract was hurriedly drafted and signed with a forged Yar'adua signature in Jan 2010!

GEJ became President in February 2010!

He had no hand in the original contract and he was right to cancel the Cabal's attempt at fleecing Nigeria on the heels of leaving power.

P&ID went to Court in 2013 because they were sure of victory because the original contract was so daft.

P&ID is a shell company registered in Ireland that is jointly owned by members of the Yar'adua cabal and corrupt British politicians.

Same cabal elements are heavily infused in this current govt.

GEJ agreed to an out of court settlement but refused to pay because he knew very well who the money was going to.

Buhari (the dolt) was advised not to pay the settlement because the cabal had been assured by their British collaborators that they will get a favorable ruling from the British courts.

All these Croc tears from the Buhari govt is nothing but pure scam as the cabal have now secured legal heist courtesy of the idiot in Aso Rock[/s].

This is the most silly attempt at propganda and obfuscation I have seen on NL lately.

Mr man, GEJ was not the Prseident nor the acting President when this deal was done in January 2015 by a cabal. When he became President, he rejected the deal and later renegotiated the deal to arou d $850m, before Buhari entered and in usual manner cancelled the renegotiation, went back to court and having failed in court caused Nigeria to own $8.9b as judgement.

The last paragraph is a summary of what Reno said in the article. Resppnd directly to that Or shut the hcek up!!!
Seriously do you guys read what you put up at all? Like I said in the previous thread, do you know just how incredibly silly it sounds that the number two man knew nothing about the deal of such magnitude?

So you believe that drunken Reno that the petroleum minister can negotiate such a deal without FEC approval?

The fact that P$ID were able to build a compelling case is telling. Am sure if indeed GEJ had proven that the deal was made through illegal means and as such was void, I struggle to see how the court would grant judgement in favor of P$ID

Even if for benefit of doubt we believe that GEJ knew nothing about it, the fact that for the five years of his administration, he couldn't sort it out it is still inducting. Pls spare the BS that we was 'working on a settlement' - for almost 3 f@@$ing years??

Just FYI, am not a fan of PMB and certainly not holding brief for him, but I surely would be VERY SUSPICIOUS if, as I assume office, I come across a bill of almost $1b that I'm being asked to pay as settlement as a result of a 'deal' by my predecessor.

Get your facts right please. The deal was struck by Yar Adua. Jonathan was a VP at the time and had nothing to do with same. He only intervened to negotiate compensation for the company after Yar Adua's demise
I know you're merely repeating what the Reno guy had previously tweeted, but have you stop to consider just how ridiculous it sounds?

That the second in command knew nothing of the contract of such stupendous magnitude? REALLY??

Even if we accept that he knew nothing, the fact that he couldn't sort it out in the five years he was in the saddle is equally damning.
