OgogoroFreak: Those secondary rates higher than the current primary rates are mostly from tbills bought some months back not from the just concluded CBN rates. I see. Thanks. And indeed the rates were a lot higher earlier in the year than the current. |

CompareDBest: Not sure what the latest primary rates are for this week's auction. But, secondary market rates are rising. Stanbic currently has the best rates we have seen including 12.8% for 175days tbills. We rank tbills rates for various commercial banks on this page: https://comparedbest.com/ng/best-nigerian-treasury-bill-rates.html. I've always wondered how and why secondary rates will be higher than the primary one offered by CBN. I assume banks buy from CBN and then resell. So don't they make their profit? |

mimini: please, is it adviceable to invest in TBill for longer days( say 365 days). is there any risk involved? I am a newbie here. Want to invest for the first time. Advice from my seniors will guide me a lot. thanks. If you don't have any immediate use for the money then 365 is the best as it usually offers the highest rate (as at the time of investing) There is no risk |

abbey621: Insurance policy is not regulatory compliance. Insurance policy is dependent on the insured paying their monthly or yearly premiums and not doing anything to violate the terms of the policy. In short, you're still at the mercy of Farmcrowdy and so on. The reason banks comply with FDIC is because it is a regulatory requirement enforceable by the government, insurance policy is a private transfer of risk, nothing more! Chai! See schooling. . . |

itsme01:

just mind your business , even women are polygamous in nature just like men, at some point some women want to explore more sexual options and fantasies but unlike men that can easily get an olosho from a brothel, women have to try neighbors, pastors, co-workers and old lovers
Next time simply walk straight to her politely and request she closes the door
... Are you kidding me?? Worse action ever. Though I know the story is likely fake, but if true, the man should simply mind his business. |

Donpenny: The police operation could have been a very clean operation if not for the sabotage act of the soldiers at those check point. But it seem the police wanted a very silent and clean operation because they know how influencer the criminal is, they were avoiding attention and this even make the job riskier. They could have drove him straight to the airport to a waiting police chopper to convey him to abj. This would have save those special force trained by the police. The Nigeria police is under found It's possible they had even received information about likely collusion between some of the army officers and the kidnapper. That could explain why they were trying to gate-crash all the checkpoints. But it was a risky move. |

SOFTDRINK: I'm surprised non of the commenters took time to reflect @ the bolded.
If the officers were mistaken for kidnappers by the military as the story teller wants us to believe. How come the "supposed kidnappers" were not shot at the first and second checkpoint until the military were called? Abi o I guess the first two checkpoint, apparently, did not know about the kidnap. It was the third checkpoint (which had allegedly been contacted by the kidnapper's accomplices) that got to know and so opened fire. All the same the story get plenty comma |

Ikpeazukerosene: Next time you want to bet, have the numbers written down in a piece of paper but don't play it.
After the game, you'll see that the numbers are useless but you won't lose your money. Brilliant!! |
