It is for the three mods here to recommend topic for front page. When the three of them recommend the same topic, severally, the supermods would be forced to acknowledge it or give the reason for the rejection.

We have to just to make sure not to overdo it. The winner must come up with a topic worthy of FP material.

I went through the other thread and observed that you guys are about to vote on what the winner(s) get(s). Um, before we all get too carried away with this, let's have it in mind that the FP thingy may not work because whatever thread goes there is squarely dependent on the decisions of the Supermods and Admin.

Please let's not make a 'rule' that will constitute a promise we won't be able to keep. If you guys feel strongly about this FP reward for the winner(s) then I strongly suggest that the supermods be briefed and a commitment gotten from them. But note that a commitment to do that for this section may also mean granting similar 'favours' to other sections. This may be a constraint.
