So what this man is saying is that an angel was sitting on the throne of heaven?

1 Kings 22:19-20

19 Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne with all the multitudes of heaven standing around him on his right and on his left. 20 And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’

Onto item 9 - Rules and what if anything, the winner(s) get.

I think we have set a number of rules about voting.

What we can do now is discuss who will organise the nomination and voting. Should a new panel be formed? Should the mods do it? Or any other suggestions?

Is there something one can think of as compensation for the winners? I am thinking sort of the winner get the right to have a thread of his stickied for one month or have two or three threads of his/hers make front page in 1st three months of 2014 or something else the mods and admin can think of or agree on.

What do you guys suggest?

noblefada: It's always hilarious when when I see unbelievers try to understand spiritual things with their limited human knowledge, which is just pure ignorance of scriptures. Although I admire their intelligence, but smh at their shear ignorance, some of us are enjoying the mysteries of unravelling the scriptures and are always blown away the intricate intelligence at which the bible was written, but they come here and argue blinding about elementary things of the bible and believe they are right, while some us are enjoying advance level.
Some times I wonder when they call us delusional and yet spend some much time on something they are not suppose to believe exist who is more delusional, take for instance @alfa selzer believing the Jews believed in many gods n Moses told to believe in one?!!? I wonder greatly where they get this things from.
The bolded shows exactly what you are. A liar and easily confused hypocrite. Where did I say that?

gurnam: Stop spewing rubbish here.

Is your destiny tied to Yoruba benevolence....? Are you inclining that the Yorubas were your stumbling block to your utopian nation?

You want to go to war ....and at the same time want to be at the mercy of those your are shelling to feed you or allow their airspace and land as corridor for you to get food.....if your ill thought war against Nigeria have been look at twice before rushing into war....you would have known that the most disadvantaged group in Nigeria to contemplate or wage a war and win is Ibo......your geography just doesn't give you that war option.

How did we Yorubas betrayed you? You killed our military officers and elected civilian leader...we never contemplate on seeking revenge but the northerners did. You waged your foolishly planned war and instead of you to face North Mile ...you decided to head toward west...and you expect us to allow you to turn the land of our fathers into a killing field because one useless spoilt brat on ego trip want to rule?

When your fathers are telling you these foolish stories....learn to ask them hard questions on the choices they made.
See what I mean.

I can only pity the Igbo people that don't read their history. If you can't read, please ask someone that lived before the war to tell you the stories. If you trust a yorubaman, you are on your own.
Ironsi trusted Fajuyi. Betrayed
Ojukwu trusted Banjo. Betrayed
Zik trusted Awolowo. Betrayed

After the war Igbos started using long stick as you would with snakes and Hausa's took over.

Buhari trusted Idiagbon. Betrayed
Abacha trusted Diya. Betrayed.
Abubakar trusted Obasanjo. Betrayed

They even betray their own people!
Abiola. Betrayed.
Shonekan. Betrayed.
Awolowo. Betrayed.

It's like a tribe's blood is synonymous with betrayal.

Lagosbabe1: OP nice dream and I wish you the best.

Unfortunately, I am not with you at all. I will not give you examples of how bigoted ibos are- it is glaringly clear for everyone to see. They blame Yorubas for their forefathers stupi*dity to engage in a war they were unprepared for and were decimated in the process. They have rewritten every fact of the war to suit their own lies and have fed this to their gullible children who have now carried on the mantle of hate.

I never ever ever engaged in tribalism until I saw the comments from ibos not only on NL but on all forums across the web, to cut short my story, I am an Odua daughter and so it will remain.

Ibos are the greatest tribalists in Nigeria- just look at that pancake, corrupt and inept minister accusing Yorubas of her problem when in saner countries, she will be in detention awaiting trial. Achebe lied, manipulated and knowingly distorted the facts and dished it out to his sheep and they are swallowed it hook, line and sinker- never seen a tribe that is so individualistic yet have a herd mentality when it comes to supporting criminality and lies.
Here they come again. Distorting facts and spewing hatred.

So you were a saint until you saw Igbos? So Igbos fired the first bullet?

Who ordered the starvation of innocent children and civilians in their own country? Who? A yoruba man did. Even in the worst wars in history, such bitter hatred had never been seen.

Who swore to shoot every moving thing in his country? Who? A yoruba man did. Even in the worst wars in history, such bitter hatred had never been seen.

Who betrayed a war that should have lasted only a few weeks? Who? A yoruba man did.

You are no saint. Our sight brings out the worst in you people. But you are go tire to see we face because WE ARE IN YOUR FACE.

So this did not happen?

Genesis 26:24

24 And the Lord appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake.

PoliticsRe: I Am Sick And Tired Of Tribal Politics - Who Is With Me? by AlfaSeltzer(m): 12:31pm On Oct 25, 2013
These yoruba people self. Always crying tribalism when they are the worst culprits with the help of their tribal mods.

Anyway for the op, when you said that you were a proud yoruba man, all your intents are thus laid open. Only bigots could ever be proud of belonging to a tribe of bigots.

Joshthefirst: Jacob saw angels going up and down and heard God's voice at one time.

It is common in scripture to replace God with his messengers; the angels.
Even manoah, samsons father saw an angel and was afraid he'd die.
Interpret scripture with scripture.

Judges 13:21 But the angel of the Lord did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the Lord. 22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God .
So Jacob didn't know what he was talking about then?

So, was Jacob lying when he said this?

Genesis 32:30

30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
