jrusky:Question must still be asked. This is a way of testing the authenticity of every claim. What has prevented these ones from putting their stories on social media for over a month sinve that incident took place? Are they telling me they no longer believe a platform that propagated the course upon which their kinsmen died? |
I'm not denying shooting or killing at Lekki but one thing I've always no will certain happen is, after months of silence, people will start showing up with claims of fatalities. They might have bought time to plan and cover up every loophole that could expose their lies. Are you telling me all this one that physically present themselves to make claim, are afraid to speak up on social media where they have privilege of disguise. |
Princeadebayo11:Jamb only reckon with the date of birth on your jamb result. I'm taking from experience. My case is similar to yours with the Dob on my jamb result bearing the day and birth year that is different from my WAEC. I was worried about which problem I might encounter until about to register for my NYSC. I was to fill the gap for exemption because I was above the age for camping according to the age in both certificate. To my surprise, NYSC already indicated the jamb birth date as my official Dob. I just filled the portal and got my exemption certificate days after |
LivingSage:Then you shouldn't be in position to defend what you are not in position to answe |
LivingSage:So the question on Akeredolu here was asked by me? |
LivingSage:So how did they approve Ekiti to construct the road without approving same for Ondo. Akure-Ikere road was constructed in ekiti under Fayose. |
LivingSage:Who was my blame directed at earlier? You personally question my inclusion of Akeredolu, now you are shifting pole. If I blame the state Amotekun, who do you think I'm blaming? Who constituted Amotekun? |
LivingSage:If you read sensibly, then you will see the comparison I try to draw with Ekiti. Why was Ekiti axis of the road well maintained. Why was it heavily secure, then why is the kidnapping peculiar to Ondo. Any responsible governor would have responded to the extent threat by putting the road in a better shape. Do you know that Fashola recently announced that Federal government had payed billions of naira to states for maintaining Federal road. Yet Aketi will be a beneficiary despite his failure |
LivingSage:Remember the initiative of Amotekun was to combat the threat of Fulani herdsmen ans not a general case of insecurity though their role could be extended where the capacity permit. When the governor were boasting and chest thumping that their Amotekun will envelop the west from the threat of insurgence, did they give excuses? Whose job is it to recruit? I believe the Ondo state Amotekun is a mere camouflage. No other state in south west this insecure. I think the governor and his Amotekun project should be probed |
LivingSage:This kidnapping are an indication of our inefficient security system and Amotekun shouldn't come to give us fake promises. The governor embark on Amotekun as an attempt to combat the rising case of Fulani marrauder. If they want police people to get all the blame, then they shouldn't Rob Amotekun in our face |
LivingSage:If you think the rising spate of kidnapping in the state tell nothing about Akeredolu incompetence, maybe you need to enrol for your junior sendary school again. The insecurity in the state is an outlier in the entire south west. I often ask if there is any geographical, economic or religious indicator that made Ondo stand out in this but I still get no answer. The Akure Ikere road has been a den of Kidnapper for over four year, same with Owo-Ifon road and other area. In 2019, I was traveling from Akure to Ado Ekiti along the the Akure-Ikere road and just before my vehicle set off from the pack, news already going round that the entire passenger of two previa bus have been whisked away by Fulani herds men in the state. I embark on my journey notwithstanding and what I saw was a very disturbing scenario that made me ask questions. The narrow road , though a federal were almost unmotorable, full of bump. Aside the police station situated by the bush at the entrance of the road, no single check point was seen throughout my journey. But as soon as I entered the Ekiti axis of the road, we were met with heavily guarded military checkpoint who conducted a thorough search on us. There were also check point at interval till I got to Ikere ekiti. The road were also tarred and in better shape. Is it also a coincidence that Ondo axis of the route is the one notorious for Fulani herdmen and kidnapping? Many cases of Kidnapping in the state are also underreported and you think Akeredolu has no questions to answer. |
CandidSeeker:Stop spitting nonsense. The same Owo-ifo road where three brother were kidnapped few weeks ago and their parent made to pay 2.5 million for their release few days ago, was the same region the traditional ruler was shot dead in a failed kidnapping attempt. Was the news of the kidnapped children announced. Check page 6 of the nation 26 November edition for how the family was made to pay 2.5 million. The fact the a wife of chief of staff was also kidnapped same day the Oba was killed reveal the extent of insecurity in the state and the impotence of Amotekun in the state. |
LivingSage:You are the one that should shut up. I'm from the state and Amotekun I noting but a camouflage. I believe they have turned their job into serving the political interest of the governor, a man who never conceive any sincere developmental agenda in the state. After winning his second term, his busy Twitter handle has gone silent. I tried to monitor his response to the traditional rulers killing and no single words from him. This news is lies from the state corrupt establishment. If Amotekun is so competent to the extent of rescuing a kidnapped person without paying ransom, why is insecurity and kidnapping on the increase under their watch. Owo-Ifon road has been under constant attack and since the inauguration of the state Amotekun, there has been no let up but rather, a rising spate. Just few days ago, a family was made to part way with 2.5 million naira to secure the release of their three children kidnapped along the Owo-Ifon road and less than two days latter, a first class king was killed in the same area after a failed attempt to abduct him. I have notice the state Amotekun as an agent of lies trying to paint a false image of security in the state. Some months back, purported Fulani herds carried out a daring operation in the state living people dead and some kidnapped, few days later Amotekun claimed |

Sammy07:Its you that need to improve on your literary skill. Translation is not necessarily a direct interpretation. It's about how best to convey the meaning |
It wasn't CNN that spread the fake news but some Nigerian with malicious intent. On the night of the shooting, the social media was awashed with Photoshop, misrepresentation, fake videoa, outright lies and editing aimed at inciting Nigerian towards a pattern of violence in Lagos. CNN as a broadcasting station of global repute has a right to investigate incident by consulting people and eye witness. But unfortunately, eye witness account in Nigeria is monumentally flawed because those who are likely to say the truth didn't see it and those who claim to see it aren't saying the truth. The lieing witness here are shamelessly in abundance because of their regional conspiracy |
This people have bilateral relationship with Nigeria. They have business interest to protect in Nigeria. They can't sanction their erant boys here. Our leaders are mere erant boys to the western imperialist. |
The succession of military government was characterized by looting and embezzlement. The nation was ran to the ground, and each successive government contribute their share towards plundering the economy. But when we thought we've seen the worst under military government, the civilian came and take the barbarism to higher level. Whatever corruption witnessed under gowon could not match what played out during Shagari civilian regime. The minister of finance, Umaru Dikko stole an amount so huge that when Buhari attempted to extradite him form trial by injecting him with sleep dose and wrapped him in a parcel, in a fair mission |
pepperdemzombie:Igbo and discrimination are 5 and 6. They even discriminate among themselves. I pity Imo girls Sha. I've been hearing about their plight long ago. How the guys rushed to Lagos leaving Owerri girls stranded. And with discriminating neighbour, the odds against them must be very high. |
Public trust and confidence in the vaccine will depends on the confidence of the company involved. Some of these companies, though innovative, put business ahead of ethics. I remember Pfizer case with Kano children in 2001. They came to administration treatment in Nigeria using a trial drug. The results left hundreds of children blind and many dead. A prolonged litigation ensued with government sueing for billions of dollars. An out-of-doors settlement was latter procured. The same Pfizer is coming with covid-19 vacccine against which is yet to get approval from regulatory body. |
Despite this denial and counter accusations, the presence of Army at the scene of the attack was certain. The question of who gave the order is however subjective and the logic could be mapped out by considering the line of authorities in the situation. As claimed, the Lagos State government might have no authority to order the deployment of army but by prerogative of her office she could make a request which is likely to be granted by superior order in the military hierarchy. Buhari being the commander in chief of armed forces is likely to accent the order However, the role of fake news in influencing the sequence of events after the shooting can not discarded. How can any one have access to a document instructing soldier to shoot at civilian? This are like classified documents and getting access to them might require a level of compliance which might take times. But the prepondance of claims, fake videos, edited print, photoshop and dead bodies, misrepresentation and other information that flooded the social media pointing accusing finger at Tinubu was an organized conspiracy. The anti Tinubu voices is regional and we are well aware of it. Most of them are the peddler of Tinubu 2023 ambition which can not be proven. This misinformation were deliberately targeted at inciting Lagosian against Tinubu as it materialized shortly after. The dead and destruction that followed surpassed the casualties at Lekki toll gate. |
If football, especially international football, once a coach complete a cycle, his job is put under reviewed and decision is made regarding his future. Only exceptional performance earn a coach a contract extension and few person like Joachim Leow of Germany has enjoyed this benefit. Gerhnot Rhor has completed a cycle by taking us to every tournament including nations cup and world cup. In each of this tournament he has done nothing specular, so I see no reason he should keep holding that job other than corrupting. |
Era of wedding without showing the husband face is now the new normal. |
The #EndSARS was was born out of Nigerian youth dwmans for fundamental change in the system. Many of the participant started out with the desire to birth a new Nigeria but the protest soon gave way to the sectional interest of some people ans I will put it straight. The political view of Nigerian youth is partitioned across ethnic line between the pro PDP, Jonathan and anti APC/Tinubu of the south East and the progressive, somewhat indifferent south West. When a south eastern man criticize Buhari regime, he cite Jonathan and PDP regime as the standard for good governance. Most western youth opinion see Buhari as just a continuation of bad government that have been in Nigeria sice at least the return to democracy in 1999. Almost on weekly basis, the South eastern on social media trend Tinubu to drag and spite him as the one who ended the peaceful reign of Jonathan and ochestrated the evil government of Buhari. They accuse Yoruba of being an enabler of bad regime of APC. Most time they were met with scanty responses from Yoruba who counter that the PDP failure gave birth to APC and That the south eastern government are worse off. The protest that broke out was aimed at forcing the government into making concession that will give power to the people. But in the heat of the protest, the anti Tinubu opinion inundated the media space accusing him of being the sole source of Nigerian problem. That the south Easterner prefer a PDP reign in Lagos is not in doubt. On the night of the Lekki shooting. The claim that Tinubu own the Lekki toll gate was reinforced with deliberately concocted fake news, videos, edited print and other incendiary message. The whole thing was skewed to ochestrate an anti Tinubu war. It wasn't surprising the following day, when what was initially an organized protest gave way to burning and vandalization of so-called Tinubu asset. The ripple effect created spread to other state, leaving more casualties that the toll gate shooting. After the Mastermind has achieved what they say aa demystification of Tinubu, they back of the brewing Buhari must resign and started singing 2023. The protest was aimed at political goal |
sodiqapril:This statement of yours was what led to hasty conclusing that triggered the anti Tinubu violence in Lagos which leave many death and destruction that spiral into other states. We know Tinubu is milking from the state but how sure are you that he own the toll gate. The Lagos State government has come out to claim ownership. How are you sure Seyi Tinubu control the sign post. A lot of fake news were circulated on social media on the night of the shooting apparently targeted inviting the public against Tinubu. I'm not trying the absolve them but you sound like those who killed the #EndSARS protest through fake news |
Cunning man. Agent of Biafra trying to shift blame away from Igbo. The Igbo anti Tinubu are responsible for the swaying of opinion and fake news that few the purported burning Tinubu property in Lagos and fact is coming to light. Stop disguising? |
chocboi78:She has appeared in countless Yoruba movie. Shes a consistent face on the screen. That you don't know her doesn't make her unpopular. |

Masterkernel1:So the oil money of south south gave Lagos the sea port. The oil money brought those industries and made Lagos the centre of entertainment. |
uunwanaobong3:You refuse to be part of good. Was Trump part of the order that made America the world economic and technologicalsuper power? Was he there when apple ushered the world into new era ofinformation technology? Was his idea the prevailing thing that brought the social media? Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George Bush jnr and Barack Obama sustained the American ideal during this era. Donald Trump came with his battered ego, began to talk loosely and loud uncharacteristic of American president. He took the country through a path previously uncharted in their history. I may agree with the conspiracy to delay the announcement of covid-19 vaccine but does that explain Trump unreasonable approach to the virus? Imagine an American president denying a pandemic that was killing people in thousands. |
The Northerner understand and see clearly, the ethnic sentiment that fueled the anti-Tinubu and the subsequent destruction in Lagos |
