It's a pity the election is now a contest between APC and the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP. How PDP left the equation is a disturbing situation. A serving deputy left his party for the major opposition in the state and lobbied to grab the ticket for gubernatorial election. He spent an unbelievable sum of money to win the support of the party hierarchy at the national level but lost to the strongest contestant. The deputy governor, in his desperation to contest at all cost, defected again to a third party where he was embraced unopposed. Few months later, the new party became the biggest threat to the incumbent as loyalist and members of the deputy governor former parties mostly from his senatorial district mobilized in drove to pitch tenth with his ambition. The game is now tilted considering the virtually 100 percent support for the deputy governor in Ondo south and the massive support in four other local government in Ondo central where his party chairman, Mimiko hailed from.

Meanwhile, the PDP who were initially billed to be the strongest opposition has been reduced to the underdog. Their presence is now restricted to the two other Local government in Ondo Central: Akure south, where their candidate hail from and Iju Ita Ogbolu. His presence in other local government is only scanty. He came to Ore few days ago and could not command a crowd for the usual open field gathering. Rumour also have it that a sizable portion of the PDP national is giving their backing to thw ZLP candidate. That is the reality in my own state

I lives and work in one of the South South states, So this last Tuesday I just decided to pay a very needed visit to Lagos, on getting to Lagos I felt good and feeling alright.

But on Wednesday I noticed I was feeling feverish but I did count it worthy cus I don't normally fall sick and even when I do, I don't take drugs or concoction cus am sure it will peter away.

I was wrong tho, this fever had other idea so I had to buy some drugs (malaria, and typhoid wateva wateva) I used it as directed, I felt relieved a little but not totally.

And to the reason I created this thread .....

My right side of my body is feeling well but my left side of the body is not ok. this is what I mean

1)My left eyeball is paining me seriously .

2) My left ear(tru to the inside) is paining me

3)My teeth are not excluded, the molar, premolar, and the canine are paining me seriously but the right side of my teeth are good.

4) My left nostril , I have catarrh in my left nostril and this mucus coming out from there smells, maybe offensively but I know it smells, thick and yellowish in colour.

Pls doctors in the house what could cus this, who have experienced this before??

I think you are suffering from a form of mental stress. Stress could be localized sometimes, weighing more on one side of the brain. See the Doctor, rest well and change your sleep posture. You can switch by resting on the part not affected.

Seems you don't know what's going on in Ondo state. Akeredolu might not win but it's not PDP either. Every PDP menber in Ondo south has defected to ZLP and those not defecting are secretly backing the Agbo. Even PDP national has deserted their candidate. They are hanging on the promises of ZLP candidate defection to PDP after his victory. PDP candidate Jegede has turned to a lone ranger in his quest to become the governor. His case is pathetic and it's a sort of scandal for PDP. He could not even hold an open rally in many local government. The few held, he ended up being bullied by Aketi thugs, a treatment that could not be metted to Agboola Ajayi.

The PDP are hanging on a planned defection of ZLP after the election but I pity them. Mimiko formed ZLP. He will force the governor to stay put in his party. He did it to APC in 2007 when he got their support for Labour party. I laugh

How I wish Akeredolu bite the dust come October 10, but is nairaland aware that the wave of ZLP has swept the entire Ondo Southern senatorial district? The Agboola Ajayi movement is one of the largest movement to ever occur in this region. Backed by the ZLP founder and ex governor Mimiko, he also own a sizable portion of Ondo central in Ondo West and Ondo East local government. His deputy also commamd a large followership in Idanre and Ifedore Local government. In fact, virtually all the political weight in Ondo south has defected to ZLP. Many PDP stalwalt in this region whish constitutes one third of the state has defected why several aide of the incumbent are following suit. In fact, Akeredolu realize the election is between himself and the ZLP candidate. What a shame!

USA 94 still remain our best world cup so far. We went to our first appearance fresh from a nations cup win. The team was briming with potential and our exploit exceeded the expectation. First match against Bulgaria resulted in 3-0 win, the same Bulgaria went all the way to semi final.

The first knockout stage saw us lost to Italy. Italy had the world best footballer in Roberto Baggio, but we led them into late minutes of the second half before a sloppy defence gave the opponent an equalizer after which a careless penalty ended our campaign. Both goals were scored Roberto Baggio.

BBNaija is not Nigerian election. People are expected to choose a housemate based on how interesting he or she is. Everyone know that Laycon has got what it take to attract fans but I'm still putting it that majority of his supporter are Yoruba. As for the Nengi, you just justified my claim of conspiracy and yes it is nothing but pure conspiracy. What is wrong in she being friendly with Ozo. You can't understand this until you clearly see the ethnic tendency of Igbo people. I argued this during the last edition, and some Yoruba guy even oppose my view. That naivety in dealing with Igbo people will continue to rob other tribe in entertainment sector involving fans opinion. MBGN, BBnaija and others. Most Igbo will skip content and massively support housemate from their region. They spot the one who is a likey winner and support him or her to the exclusion of housemate from another tribe irrespective of how good the later is. They storm the social media to create the impression that the housemate from their region is the best.

Check the reaction to the post, isn't it surprising that Laycon who is one of the leading favourite is not named by anyone of them. I guess the post was pre-planned.

Laycon, an upcoming singer is one of the most supported housemate but isn't it surprising that no one is naming him here. It will take 99 % of Yoruba to ensure Laycon emergence but even the most Yoruba viewer choice will be spitted across housemate which is normal but Igbo will avoid Yoruba like plague.

Not true. No two guys have been at enmity because of her. She's just a kind of person who mingle freely and being a beautiful girl, guy see it as a privilege to have her as friend. Beautiful ladies aren't that down to earth but Nengi exude that easy aura despite her sophisticated exterior.

Innoson isn't manufacturing car. It's only partnering foreign manufacturer to import part for assemblage. Nigeria can't get into car manufacturing if it submit to this approach. Car manufacturing is a real work of engineering that start with design, material science, precision tooling and building of component part. It can't be actualized without building a strong and creative education sector with investment into research.

I'm a South Westerner and I've consistently maintained that 2023 presidency will go the the south east. Nigeria won't take the path of eluding the Igbos with presidency if they want to consistently maintain a one nation. Failure to concede it to SE will send a strong message of marginalization. All the marginalization noise that Igbo have been making in the past were just baseless claim born out of desperation. The 2023 will proof if Nigeria are really Igbophobic.

I have always maintain that the secessionist movement will get a boost of Igbo presidency fail to materialize in 2023. Even a 5 years old will join the movement.

As for Abiola's case concerning issue of religion, Nigerians were so desperate for democracy to the extent that they were ready to accept anyone as long as democracy will be praticed. Nigerians didn't care about religion unlike what is obtainable today where average Nigerian on the street is so concious of his faith due to religious crisis that has happened in the past and the present as well..

Your analysis is replete with logical flaws and I cringe at your superficial generalization. First you said it is difficult for a muslim southerner to rule Nigeria. May I tell you that southwest don't see religion as a factor that differentiate them. The Muslim and Christian live in peaceful coexistence and intermarry. The south souther are ready to go for anything with federal character and SE abstinence or apathy most time does not determine the outcome of Nigerian election.

Your Awolowo comparison is another error in you analysis. Yes, Awo was much loved by his people but the political mood in Nigeria then tended towards an ethnic interest. Awo however was gradually finding his way into region beyond his territory and in 1979 election, he won the northern state of Gongola but the general result was a much disputable one till date.

I'm not here to defend Tinubu and I doubt if the man himself is interested in 2023 election.
