I don't see anything wrong with the letterhead. It is a personal letter written from his desk. It doesn't have to be sleek.
I am very sure his company letterhead will be much more attractive.

This is no news to me. APC screening committee has no option than to clear him. But not only him, they will also have no option than to clear Osinbajo and Amaechi.
If the three of them are not cleared, they will make so much trouble that APC will never exist again as a party, even before the general election of 2023.

After job hunting for a while, I saw a thread on Nairaland (some of those how to write a CV topics) where applicants with gaps in their CVs were advised to fill them up anyhow with anything they can defend. The poster authoritatively said such applicants stand no chance of getting a job.

Then, I continued the journey after rewritting my CV by 'filling the gaps'.

Boom! I was called for an interview at the very first place I applied to with this doctored CV. I passed the first stage with the HR. I was quizzed thoroughly during the second stage (panel interview) with the line manager & supervisor. They kept going back and forth on those things I claimed in my CV. They had doubts, but I remained calm and relaxed.

Days later, I got a call from the HR to come for stage three with one of the directors. The caller said I should relax that it is nothing serious. I became anxious. Why would the HR say something like that and why didn't they send an email like they have always done? I asked myself.

I met some others too and was the last to be interviewed. The director decided to test me hands-on on some of the things I claimed to have done or able to do. I knew it was a setup, because they ought to have done this in previous stages. But I remained calm. I did what the director requested and I left.

The following week, they called me on phone again to come. Immediately I got there, I took the letter and quickly acknowledge receipt before they could change their minds. This was how I got the job.

If you are wise, instead of coming to gloat on Nairaland about your ability to pad CV, you will learn those skills which you padded on your CV, as it relates to your job function, so that you don't lose the job.
The first stage of a successful career development is to get a good job, the second stage is to be competent on the job and the third stage is to make progress on the job.
You have only passed the first stage, the second stage is more difficult. If found out that you don't have the competence you wrote in your CV, you will be fired and you will be back on square zero.

I have this childhood friend who courtesy of being born in Canada earned him and his siblings Canadian Citizenship. He and his sister left Nigeria for Canada after secondary school. I and my brother got our Jobs after university at the inception of the hot cake Information Technology in Nigeria..MTN, ECONET, GLO.......... From one Telecommunication firm to another we are climbing the ladder upwards, with privileges of travelling many countries around the world and still traveling on official bases. All started in Nigeria.

To add to your point. I was also in the USA for some years, but I decided to come back home.
Ask me why?. I hated the cold and couldn't live with it.
I had a Nigerian colleague who also complained about the cold, but did not have the guts to come back home.
I got message from friends recently, that he had passed on. May God bless his soul. I don't know whether the cold got to him and finished him.
There are thousands of Nigerians abroad who are living worse than the friends and colleagues they left behind. But they wouldn't let you know.

If you go back to your original post and stop being clever by haif. You were busy multiplying 4,000 x 12, as his salary, whereas for him to earn that amount tax free, his real salary will be over 80,000 pounds, which is closer to the 90,000 pounds suggested by the person, you attacked.
90,000 is closer to 80,000 compared to 48,000 pounds, or can't you do the mathematics.

2 things i will say, No UK company will offer you tax-free salary. Not even when you are in Naija. I have been on top of the Game for 15yr and I get over 30K GBP a month but I still have to pay taxes. You will live a decent life with 4k but you can live a better life with 1.5M Naira because you will build a network and have other opportunities you cannot get in the west. All you will get in the UK is Money and in the next few years the money will not be a problem or your employer gets someone cheaper than you from naija the same way they found you.
