basadenet:Why should he face Osun alone. Are you making sense here ![]() Again majority of you people are not ready to be leaders. That is the reality. being a leader is also making bonds and closing in the "imaginary" borders that divides one state from another. ,.,.,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,.,.,.,, ,.,. who each state do it own revenue, food, transportation etc all on it own ? NO currently, Osun and ekiti state provides the majority of lagos food from yam etc lagos current provides majority of the revenue states like ekiti, ogun and osun uses it is again economic integration. ogun provide houses ekiti and osun provide the food lagos provide the business district and the revenue needed to run those states. What is the point in having a poor state . so bros it is not long throat but a regional thing and I want other regions to adopt the same tactics |
Eko Ile:LOL ![]() @South east calm down, what is wrong is wrong and don't try to justify it all in the name that he is from ur region. |

Government should be wary of paying “off” or “settling” criminals with financial rewards as doing so will encourage others. There should a proper instituted benefit if there was any loss in the first place.that is the main point to this amnesty that the FG started at the first place it shows that terrorism and crime does pay if u are violent enough |
So those Cameroonians in Onitsha market are counted as Igbos (Anambra) in a census?
are they not ? |
Eko Ile:dude stop call ethnic groups here. is this what Tinubu |
macjive01:chai Ihuoma u are very very ignorant very ignorant lagos was not the capital u mumu, lagos island WAS THE CAPITAL |
Relax101: because i speak the truthis SW not south again onitshe market is full of camerounian, right or wrong so lets stop all this blaming thing or the north and focus on the nation as a whole if the northern borders are porous, then so are the southern borders |
Relax101:dude i believe Sanusi is far more educated than you so what is all this Islamic studies etc or is it not a form of education as well. Must he study politics etc to be call educated to rule the country Fact he is smarter than majority of u haters here and certainly more than GEJ |
Do they? I am hearing that for the first time. Coming from you, I am not sure I want to believe that as yet.
go watch "welcome to lagos" and see those benin republic people in lagos |
1. See why we cannot eliminate religious extremism? Many of the BHs will be outsiders invited into Nigeria 2. See why we cannot stop the Hausa/Fulani (H/F) from exterminating the Beroms and Tivs of northern Nigeria? (many of the invaders would be H/F imported from outside Nigeria to fight for their brothers) 3. See why we cannot conduct a reliable and true census from the North? They simply invite their friends from across the boarders to come and get counted as Nigerians. There is no reason why any reasonable southern Nigerian would want to continue to live with these people in the same country.
why are u not truthful for once are yoruba in the SW not importing there brothers as well ? or is SW not southern Nigeria as well |
F*** Sanusi
i knew this is where i would see you u hater |

asha 80:Yes this kind of things is bound to happen. Even with streets in ebutta metta, people fight. that does not mean they hate each other. and more over this is not a political fight, or is it ? |
afam4eva:thanks hmmm if u mean yorubas from lagos and ogun are not benefitting from this sort of thing then Asha is wrong as what i can see now, Lagos is expanding to ogun state and house prices are raising in ogun state as well, the indigenes of lagos and ogun state are meaning the awori people which are also Yewa people No one really cares about this "what state are you from in the SW" so long as the person is a progressive (not necessarily yoruba) then it is a go go what i mean is that, No one can tell the difference if he is oyo or ekiti from awori or egun unless they really search deep into ur linage |
how do the government stop kidnapping ? this is becoming more like a lucrative business |
asha 80:what do you mean ? |
afam4eva:i think you should read this. remember a state is just an imaginary boundary they view themselves as "ndi yoruba bu ndi yoruba" ie A yoruba man is a yoruba man even if he is from benin republic emmatok: |
Beaf:beaf my brother. this is what you don't understand Yes he is the governor of Osun state which is ONE OF THE STATES IN THE SOUTH WEST. remember when ACN was talking of economic integration and what not. Well it starts from political integration how does ACN hope to build a railway or whatever they are promising without political integration same can be done when the OYo or lagos can go to ogun or ekiti I see nothing wrong in it it is called forming a centre ie politcal centre thus regional government |
Just what i like to hear from this governor Kudos to aregbesola This is what they call "economic integration" and it starts from political integration which PDP has not been able to achieve hope more of this is done in other parts of the country Nice one aregbesola and tinubu (even though i don't like him too much) but this makes sense |
wesley80:the best post so far |

Men of the Lagos State Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, have foiled an attempt by a 21-year old housemaid, Chinansa Ozoemina, to kidnap her boss, John Ike Azota, a staff of an oil company in Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. •The maid and the gang. PHOTO: Dedeigbo Ayodeji. When the SARS operatives led by Superintendent of Police, SP Abbakyari, foiled the kidnap attempt, Ozoemina was arrested alongside her boyfriend, Okoye Raphael, at their hideout at Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Surulere, Lagos. Four other suspects, Chukwudi Ikeji, 21, Nwaokike Ugochukwu, 24, and Osondu Njoku, 26 and a man simply identified as Obiora were also nabbed in connection with the plot. P.M.NEWS learnt that the housemaid, Ozoemina, initiated the ‘business’ when she informed her lover, Raphael, that his boss is a wealthy man and they would make millions of naira if he could be kidnapped. Raphael agreed with his lover and contacted Njoku who allegedly recruited other members of the gang including Ugochukwu, who is said to be the owner of the gun they planned to use for the operation. It was gathered that unknown to the kidnappers, a police detective had infiltrated their group who played along with them. Before they actually carried out their plans to abduct Azota, who is an engineer with an overseas oil company, the detective had informed his boss in the SARS about their plans. They were arrested at their hideout and police commenced interrogation of the suspects immediately. According to sources, the suspects have made useful statements to the police in connection with the foiled kidnap attempt. After the completion of police investigation, the suspects will be arraigned in court. Contrary to Ozoemina’s claim that she innitiated the kidnap plan, Raphael claimed that he actually did. Raphael told P.M.NEWS: “I was dating Ozoemina. I told her that her boss is a millionaire so I asked her if could kidnap her boss, would he pay and she said yes. I contacted my friend, Njokwu who agreed to work with us.” Njokwu said: “Though I agreed to work with Raphael, I have no gun, therefore I contacted Ugochukwu who got his friend from Anambra State, Chukwudi Ikeji.” On his part, Ikeji said: “We attended the same school. I told him that I would release the gun because of him and I would collect N400,000 as my charge. I told him to wait and I went inside the house to pick my brother’s gun where he kept it. My brother is based in America, I gave them an American made pistol with eight 9mm live ammunition.” Ikeji and Obiora later arrived Lagos with the pistol but they were arrested from where they gathered to plan the kidnap. https://pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/kidnap-Suspects.jpg http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2011/09/12/maid-plots-boss%E2%80%99-kidnap-but-plan-aborted-by-cops/ |

Fresh facts emerged yesterday that Boko Haram members may agree to cease fire in the spate of bombings in the country if the Federal Government apologises to the sect. The sect also wants the government to pay compensation for their losses, try the killers of the slain leader of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf, and release its detained members. These were some of the agreements reached with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo during a visit he paid to members of Yusuf’s family in Maiduguri on Thursday. It was also learnt that the Federal Government may open talks with the sect, depending on the understanding that is reached between the sect and Obasanjo. Although the Presidency is said to be excited at the inroad Obasanjo has made into the Boko Haram enclave, the ex-President is yet to make a report to the government on his discussion with the sect. But the report of the Presidential Committee on Boko-Haram, headed by Alhaji Usman Galtimari, is ready and may also guide the government on how to negotiate with the leaders of the sect. Investigation by The Nation showed that the Boko Haram leaders are weighing options on the olive branch from the ex-President. A reliable source, who spoke in confidence, said: “From intelligence reports, the Boko Haram members may cease fire, but with some conditions. They have stated these conditions since June, and these are known to security agencies. “Some of these conditions were also raised during the audience Obasanjo had with Yusuf’s family. “These conditions include an apology to the family of the slain Boko Haram leader, Mohammed Yusuf and the family of his slain father-in-law; compensation for losses suffered by the sect as a result of extra-judicial killings by the Nigeria Police and the release of all its detained members nationwide. ”They are also demanding the trial of those involved in the killing of Mohammed Yusuf, his father-in-law and other top leaders of the sect. “The bold step taken by Obasanjo is a sign that the family of Yusuf could lead the initiative for peace talks with Boko Haram leaders.” A top government source, however, said: “The government will be willing to discuss with Boko Haram leaders after all we are all Nigerians. “The talk between the sect and ex-President Obasanjo was a welcome relief to all of us. No government will be happy with the spate of bombings nationwide. “Our own approach is that whichever way we can resolve the challenge, we are prepared for it. Anything that will bring peace, we are ready for it. “The real truth is that the original concept of Boko Haram has expanded beyond what it was. We hope that the incoming talks will take care of the expansion. “We are also interested in those we will talk with as a government. It is too early to talk of conditions from Boko Haram, because we do not know yet those we are going to talk with. “I think with the initiative of the ex-President, we will soon know who to talk with. Responding to a question, the source added: “Ex-President Obasanjo is yet to report formally to the government on his ongoing talks with Mohammed Yusuf’s family. “I think the discussion is still at a preliminary level.” But the report of Galtimari’s committee may guide the government on how to negotiate with the leaders of the sect. A member of the committee said: “Our report is ready; we are only waiting for the government to give us a date to submit it. “We have been asked not to talk to the press except the chairman of the committee. But we will soon make the report available to the government.” The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim had on August 2, 2011 inaugurated the committee. Anyim said: “So I want to clarify that the purpose of this committee, like I said earlier is to create a forum whereby everybody who has suggestion or opinion will be able to give same to the committee, the committee is to sensitise and advise us. I emphasise that the committee is a fact finding team and a forum to proffer solution to the crisis.” sources |
