Panzastrip:
what is really wrong with you Ajizera, today you are with Yoruba, tomorrow u are with Ndigbo, next u are with Hausa, next u are with Ndigbo, next u are with Yoruba, next, next, next. I bet u are still 17 years old, even a 17 year old will never act like the way u are.
and what is wrong with u minor. I bet i am older than ur father

Now listen and listen carefully. I am NOT WITH ANYONE. I am against enemies of Nigeria and corrupt individuals

Now if those people happen to be igbo, yoruba or hausa THAT IS NOT MY BUSINESS

Being yoruba, igbo or hausa is NEVER matter to any discussion if u all are honest with yourselves but of course Ndigbo Nairaland would not see it that way. And i do not blame them neither do I blame you. It is normal in that part of the world to be tribal.

I am done here smiley
Fashola is joined to Tinubu and his gang at the hips - he is not going anywhere. Ever before Fashola became Governor, he and several other ACN politicians have been going to Dubai yearly for lesser Hajj and creating 'unbreakeable' bonds. These bonds are held tightly by shared religion and 'who knows what else'. I saw and heard Tinubu in Dubai introduce Fashola as the next governor of Lagos many years ago. They will do Fashola in if he abandons them.

I actually feel sorry for Fashola because he cannot reach his political potential as long as Tinubu is on the scene.
resounding truth

killayut:
Enough said and we have read / heard all the sarcasm. Benin empire and Benin this and that. Was Lagos not part of the Benin empire ? People are now redefining what an empire is. So if Nigeria was part of the British empire mean Nigeria belongs to the English huh ? These Benin morons are blinded cheap goats who can not see Ijaws beyond Gelegele . Gele gele is a settlement and the people speak Ijaw and not Benin or Edo. It is not an empty forest in dispute but a settled land from time long. No Oba of Benin has ever fought wars with the Ijaws and claimed GELEGELE was an Edo town. It maybe a town under the Old Benin empire but never an Edo town so the Obazuwas should know. If an Ijaw man or militant has taken laws in to his hand by attacking innocent Nigerians, such a person or persons should be arrested and dealt with accordingly but to say a round headed, mud house loving ,wen hen yen saying twerp from Benin would come to Gelegele to sack the natives is a gross miss yearning. No one wants any one dead but the murder of a GELEGELE IJAW by any Benin scum would be met with equal force. The protection of any part of Ijaw land and any Ijaw is the obligation of every Ijaw from Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Ondo, Edo, Akwa Ibom state.
u forgot abia, lagos, ogun, imo, cross river and any other oil producing area

I am ijaw as well wink wink

Crime › Re: Fulani Herdsmen And Hausa Traders Clash At Golbin Boka by aljharem3: 10:47am On Sep 21, 2011
maclatunji:
So far the responses to this thread have not been very smart. If it was Fulani herdsmen killed members of a predominantly Christian tribe, you would have held it has evidence of Muslim intolerance (Jos immediately comes to mind here).

However, the truth is that Farmers and Nomads will almost always clash without proper regulation by government in terms of providing land for both purposes. People like you just give it a religious colouration to validate your feeble logic and incorrect beliefs thereby blowing the conflict out of proportion and leading to thousands of unnecessary deaths.

We need to know that every time we comment in public we are helping to mould the opinions of other people- let us propagate positive ideas and sentiments and not imply that some lives are less valuable than others thereby devaluing ours.

Shame on all of you who do that.
thank you tunji

Politics › Re: What Is So Difficult In Road Building? by aljharem3: 11:17pm On Sep 20, 2011
Take Lagos for example; i don't live there but been there and have driven on the tarmac roads and i can tell u Fashola should be able to do better than that.

The excuses u get is Lagos is over-populated hmmm when the state government should be taking advantage of the high population density.OK he is trying his best?

Its only in Nigeria u see roads built which developed pot holes within  minutes

Even at that u don't have to be a engineer to figure roads built on some terrain will be easily wipe off as soon as the rain arrives.

Only in Nigeria u see roads built while the side track is left to deal with erosion.
U are correct but too much cars on lagos road is the problem

not actually overpopulation but the cars on the road between 7.30 - 8.30 am and 5-9 pm

this is traffic time

As the poster before me said, GLOBAL WARMING is in effect in Nigeria.
abeg stop blaming global warming

what global warming are u talking about

Nigeria has not housing plan or what so ever

No water natural route is still free

People build of water ways and sand fill it . WHY??

because there are not rules or regulation to stop them

Or is global warming getting to Kano state as well huh what of ibadan huh

Nigeria government is just too lazy to focus of house and settlement planning

look at lagos. where any one would jut sand fill a water lodge land and call it 10 million naira worth of land huh. is that global warming
That is why when something happens, speak in context of whatever you are addressing and do not bring other people into it. So since some unknown fellows who were having certain problems with their high commission decided to beat the c.rap out of the high commissioner, that somehow warrant all the everyday Ndigbo who are going about their daily business to be called ''thugs''?!! For God's sake, his people just bombed the freaking UN building and murdered countless of innocent people and somehow he still has the audacity to barge in here and call Igbos thugs. God twist that his mouth. While i will never go out of my way to take cheap shots at other ethnic groups here on nairaland or anywhere (since i really do not give a sh.it about them), i won't take it lightly with someone who calls my hard working family thugs over things they have no idea of. I swear some people are immensely stu.pid and myopic when they try to diss others.
You made some good points here about him branding all igbos as such

I believe it was made out of anger and as such he should be ignored

but the thugs are of igbo extract and should apologise to the ambassador. IMO
