lawali:I'm interested in this question too. I just hope thus will bring normal discussion here. |
Good day Bro. Please I would like to know how much clean CE of Camry 08 and Corolla 08 will cost me with full custom papers. Not accidented please. Thank you, boss |
olumide4christ:I would like to admit that I was wrong not to have mentioned the type and size of the building and the foundation type. I searched through your response for harsh words but find none save sarcasm, so for this reason I won't respond further to you sir, on the subject. However, you guys may as well charge a million naira to supervise the foundation of the security house where the main house rests on an area less than 40sqm in what my lay mind would call a normal land. I do pray you folks will get your acts together and purge yourselves of people whose primary interest reside in milking their clients dry rather than delivery of services. |
You see na where problem dey start be that o...why u no just do wetin your friend want jeje? The honesty you have displayed here in asking this question. I will advise you adopt that honesty in asking the owner of the house which one he'll prefer, because at the end it all boils down to what the owner likes. What i know is that the block idea eats more room space than without the block idea. mufutau55:Thank you very much, elders of the section, for the responses. When I put it to the owner, he asked me to find out what is better, of course with evidence. I think I will convince him to just stay off the blocks. The supervisor wins then, through more informed opinions of great guys here. |
Good day gurus in the house and friends in diaspora. Please I'm monitoring a project for a friend who lives abroad. They just concluded the DPC and are working on the block work of the ground floor of the duplex. While the plan shows the wardrobe position to be demarcated with blocks, the supervisor thinks block work for wardrobe is unnecessary and out of fashion. I am confused as my friend is a rigid person who might want to see his plan executed the way it was drawn unless if I could be convinced otherwise. Now the question is, is it really out of fashion to build the wardrobe wall with blocks? |
some guys are so horrible and uncultured here. from my observation from a distance in this section, once somebody comes with any plans or request that we don't relate to, the firm assumption of the so called "professionals " here is that the drawing or proposal must have been done by a quack. Anybody that is not you is a quack, habba! Unfortunately, by the time you engage some of them (the so called advertising professionals on the corridors of property section), just go hospital go find medicine for heart attack cos they will break your heart. They do! all the time. When we give feedbacks, we shouldn't be so disrespectful and discourteous about it. This is not fair for God's sake. Una wan make the man feel like say na coconut de him head ni? Next in line are the hawks who introduce themselves as various professionals who just dole out their phone numbers and email addresses. There are actually good people here who do that here and I do respect them as they are genuine. The man came here for advice, if your advice is going to cost him money, just find somewhere else go advertise and stop bad mouthing other people's works joor. Despite all these, there are lots of cultured and matured professional guys here. I hail you matured and respectful folks here. To the insultive folks, grow up, a beg. Give your advice for free and charge for real professional consultation jare. Imagine someone telling a friend he will supervise his DPC for 200k!.....Two hundred thousand Naira! Friend will still buy his materials, pay all the workers on site. Drawings don de ground already oh. The professional own na just to put hand for pocket show him face like 3x during the work and pocket 200k. Aye ma ni ika oh. While it is not my intention to disrespect anyone or insult the integrity of any profession, we need to purge ourselves of some folks here. |
Lakeland4321:kindly check the attached picture as example of what happens now for online payments and POS abroad. I made this payment of 55 CAD online a few day ago using VISA Card. I was debited N13,000 instead of the N8,542 or something a little higher if there are other charges. This is the reality of the situation now. I tried to get in touch with the bank and the excuses I heard was that banks source for forex from the black market for most of these transactions so they set their system to such funny rates. I have confirmed this with clients from first bank, GTB, Skye etc Everyone has the same story

baebae:even if you want to get money, why must yu kidnap other people's children |
TechWalker007:Ain't that barrister Ezekiel Dyagas I see presented like a hero in this matter? eh eh, I shake my head. The man seems worse than the abductors themselves in my opinion. The legal profession needs to purge itself of people like him fa. He duped me and disappeared. |
berildan:kindly send me a PM. I've got links to NIPOST. This is sad and rather disgraceful of people who get paid every month for doing nothing, yet all they can do is to mess up with a system people are trying to cleanse |
this really looks nice but I'm afraid of anything wood like this as it forms a nice haven for cockroaches. what about families with under five children, they pour water on the floor per second? |
I am just wondering why you are the only one posting here! people please, show some love. I think a little background information on mixers, mechanisms, advantages, disadvantages, various types and sizes and of course cost implication may drive a little more traffic here. nice thread by the way. |
I am a little worried about the orientation we have about tax vis a vis encouraging investors into the country. We need to know that MTN doesn't break rules in South Africa and they don't joke with their tax payment there. why should that be different in Nigeria? Secondly , there must have been a disagreement initially but there was a court ruling that supported the state and the least MTN could do was to appeal intend of blackmailing the government. Some argue that most of the staff involved are not MTN staff but contract staff etc. as long MTN pays those people, it is what they earned and it must be taxed. you also need to know that MTN must have taxed those people but never remitted it to government. in addition, the telecommunications sector doesn't need any incentives for any investment a beg. That sector is saturated. why didnt mtn close shop when it ews slammed fine by the government through the NCC? Do you know how much these foreign telecoms repatriate out of the country every month? sincerely they should stop defrauding the land. If I work for the government and I have small shop where I sell provisions, there is VAT that I must include in the price of the items I sell and I must remit this to the government regularly but we never do all these. In fact most of us don't pay tax. many of us are not so pained when people in government steal or mismanage money because we have no connection with this money theyr are stealing. After all, it is oil money. The term "tax payers funds/money" doesn't seem appropriate for us. |

my uncle too is a Rosicrucian. He exposed me to all sorts of soul enriching scripts and documents. I studied so much that he encouraged me to even read about history and evolution of religions, Islam and other religious teachings. it is good to know that he never forced me to read or reflect on all these. He engaged me constructive arguments and he never for once asked me to join talk less of forcing me to. He hoped I would be personally convinced one day to join. I decided not to consider to join because the teachings and doctrines of AMORC are so intense and pure that I don't think I can meet up with the spiritual obligations. Growing up with my uncle changed my outlook to life and made me appreciate the transient nature of humans. I have better interpersonal relationship with people, I live my life to serve others and I am happy doing it. I consider it wrong to accumulate wealth while others are suffering. He is not rich, he is not a ritualist and he is not a cultist. I've been to their temples on several occasions and I know what I'm talking about. The unfortunate thing is that most of us are not open to knowledge, we prefer dogmatism and we seem to condemn alien teachings and doctirines before we know them. Christians who don't know anything about Islam do same and and Muslim who have never bothered to learn about Christianity also condemn Christians. I am a Christian, born again, I have been with my uncle for over 20 years from my late secondary school days. He is the probably the most respected and loved of all my uncles. ******* I sent him the OPs post and this is his response below......: Your uncle may be keen on your personal development and soul evolution but can't and shouldn't force you to be one. It is not compulsory to be a Rosicrucian but very worth the effort, am one and has been there for the past 33years of no iota of regrets. Let me tell you and honestly too that it is not because your brother is in AMORC that makes him rich but maybe he is hard working because Rosicrucians live in same world and are prone to all challenges of life. Jesus was in all the ways tested, tempted and tribulated in many ways but till date at the mention of his name every knee continues to bow. For further information try Rosicrucian Order AMORC Nigeria on Facebook. Taiye Olaniyi is my name. |
Viktor1983:I ust abandoned glo for Etisalat. Glo will give you 12 Gig for only 5k but I can assure you, no matter how much you try, you can't use up 5gig out of the data cos of the poor and frustrating network. why not pay 5k for 5gig Etisalat and enjoy your life. |
castroevans:Please what is a Jeep? |
You still de sell for Abuja?
Your price don improve?
Do you deliver to destination? |
Obrigardo:I would like to know your kids school so I may refer people to you. ... This is first term oh, they need books, pay for accommodation for boarders, uniform etc. For other terms, you may pay later but for first term, you need to take care of these issues at least na..... |
lolaxavier:These people need to find out how much the federal government pays its staff- I mean graduates oh; after that they will thank God for their own 40k per month as drivers. I am saying this because the remuneration is so poor that people will never tell you their real take home pay. When you assess their lifestyles however, they live on multiples of their income on a monthly basis : you see the reason why corruption is here with us and will never go away.... |
standfit5:What about mobile Internet rates and quality of service? I've been using my MTN since GSM network entered Nigeria. I felt I owe them loyalty but this is not being reciprocated. A wan port, a beg. Fear of the unknown however is holding me down. Pls convince me Etisalat is good for me. |
osaslord500:Haba, what is wrong with her English? apart from omission of some words which can happen to anybody especially if you are using a phone, she is ok. |
Ishilove:OK na. Issorai |
bushdoc9919:Didn't he transform Uyo into a world class city? didn't he build and commission an international hospital in his state? He should be referred to Uyo with immediate effect! Please, I am getting worried by the use of the JEEP by professional journalists and writers. |
Royver:It is good names were not mentioned, it however doesn't sound good to think this is permissible because it might have happened a long time ago. This should not be divulged even if the patient died 20 years ago. |
Royver:I do hope this is not a true life story. If it is, then you didn't do well to post your encounter here. Medical practice and all the support professions are guided by strong ethics and one of the greatest of them is confidentiality. Details of encounter (even if names and addresses are not mentioned) must never be discussed outside official Medical circles. The rule on ethics instructs you to keep the secret the patient has entrusted to you even after the patient has died unless if you are compelled by law to do otherwise. |
spyder880:Spyder, I must confess I hold you in high esteem the way you demystify most of these issues. I see these things, I ask questions but people just tell you letter A because they taught it is A. Pls carry us along to finishing |
amb2015:there is a false believe that your car is worthless or old or you are about to change it and because of that , you don't need tracker. folks, any car that you buy for over a hundred thousand naira or any car that carries you from one point to the other one needs insurance and tracking; even if you have to push the car daily before it starts. you may never know the true value of your car till you lose it. However, there have been instances of those tracker peddlers who aid and abet car theives, they go straight to the tracker and disable it. we live in a wicked world. |
lantres000:I lost two cars September last year ....almost lost my life too. A Toyota Camry 2004 and a sienna 2004 too along with as many electronics the two cars could pack from my house. of course I involved the police and SARS and they all got salary supplements from me till I became wise and let go. .....Police and SARS na your friends oh, they will milk you dry. |
Abi shey na tomatoes the professional dey sell? Construction that may take from 2 weeks to 1 month depending on the complexity of the foundation, the terrain, weather, etc? You didn't even tell us what kind of building is involved - a bungalow with strip foundation or a storey building with strip/pad or raft foundation? The bigger the building, the more complex the foundation and so the higher the level of professional input required in supervision. At least, it would be expected that you negotiate with that professional reasonably.
