MTN has been dealing with me .....I can barely open a page, even blackberry service has been very erratic .... Abuja. |
Ayoolu: Lagos to Lome is 274kms by Google mapCorrect person.... I'm very familiar with that road and I know I'd never spent up to six hours along the road despite waiting at the borders cumulatively for about three hours. |
akereconfi: The Managers no knw say naa BUS dem dey enter before....The bank managers complain? Abi dem tie rope for their neck drag dem enter the Bus.....u hear say dem die for road??......Human race full of Hatred YYYYYYWho is even responsible for the maintenance of the so called rickety buses? No be the same managers? Let them enjoy the assets they have been keeping for the bank too na. Abi na only junior staff go de enter useless bank buses? Life na turn by turn. |
coputa: Where is their departure point..if it is from lagos, then there's nothing wrong with it,since from lagos to Togo is a relativeky short journey...you are not being realistic with your argument,...you said its the managers that account for the profit that the bank is making, what of the other workers, are they not as important as the managers without which no appreciable progress would be made in the bank....you said to fly each manager from lagos to Togo and back would cost the bank#80,000, multiply that by 100 people, that gives you a whopping eight million naira just for transport alone,(excluding feeding/hotel accomodation and training allowance)even when there is an alternative and cheap means of doing it...Ecobank is a business organization run with shareholders money, for profit motive......they have to maxximise profit with sound biz skills, and not spending eight million naira when they could alternatively do so with 2 million naira...your hate for the bank has blind folded your reasoning...True talk brother. You will be shocked how short the distance between Lagos and Lome is. It isn't far at all. |
ZACHIE: Factory resetNow I know why my car jerks for almost two days anytime the battery is removed. I nearly got my mechanic arrested the other day cos he was just change my break pads and arrange for welding of my exhaust and an otherwise normal car started vibrating. Thank God I was there from the begining to the end. |
Bokoharam: Since I heard of this from a very reliable source, I have not stopped being concerned. I am not a staff member of Ecobank (Yet, even if I am, does it change the reality of the wickedness?). There is also no hate involved. I even think you may be part of the executive that traded lives for money. I believe if your own relative left by road, and you had to keep wake from 8am when they set out till 1.30am the following day, when they arrived at Lome, coupled with staff bus breakdown (without security) in this horrible Nigeria and its borders, you would appreciate and think better. Please which airline flies to Lome @80,000 return? How many of the managers have ever seen the West African Coast? I agree with you that they should have gone by ABC or any other professional transport along that route. I arranged a similar journey last year to Accra for consultants and profs from various teaching hospitals in Nigeria ...on ABC transport of course...... They did this by choice, I was forced to follow them by road too, it was a very nice experience for them I must tell you.. |
Siena: Why do you have to remove your battery to start another car? Could you please clarify EXACTLY what you do? Because I'm not seeing anything about jump leads here.I wonder myself too oh. |
All these will be meaningful only if those rude beggars in uniform at the terminals are trained or changed. |
donodion: Well done. But please, how does those of us in diaspora get to register or can we have it done by proxy?God will save us in this country. Those of you abroad have international passports don't you? Why do you need a national Iden Card again. Even those of us at home will soon run crazy cos of all these....I've a passport, drivers licence, work identity etc....why do I need a national identity again? Can I move around the world with this national identity? |
king arizona: In the implemented passenger bill of right, the NCAA should also add fine that should be paid by passengers that misses their flight!! That's all!!!Na just today? The customers have always been wrong na. Have you ever missed a flight without paying? |
Nigerian government operators are like children who buy bicycle pumps before getting bicycles. This whole project is useless without a rapid mass transport system.....underground metro, surface fast trains and buses..otherwise, consider a place as small as shoprite in Abuja. The kind of traffic hold up there is discouraging. We buy caps without having heads. I weep for drains in this country. Everyone comes with a small project without a grand plan for the whole place. |
in this case, we should see beyond just the polio vaccine but a man who has decided to stand up to what he believes in. A man who is not ready to be pushed around, he knows his right and dignity- no governor or politician would dare encroach on his right.... |
sure Chadians and Nigerien no go mind |
This is a great development and I hope that they do comply. Losing a smart phone these days is worse than losing money or virginity. You feel naked, vulnerable and unprotected. |
i can only say this is awesome. With all these designs, ships will fly one day |
Check out the time of your post. It's strange ain't it? I'm waiting for response too |
Oga spider, a promise yet unfulfilled oh. I u promised to analyse the cost of the parapet in terms of materials and workmanship. I've not seen that yet. My contractor just left my house a few hours ago and t the estimate he gave me for the parapet has left me sleepless. I however need to commend you for this exposure given to lay like me. Apart from aesthetics, what else will I be losing by not running this parapet of a thing. |
pDude: But Kuti's bread and egg was the best. Remember aunty Odun, the fat girl? I liked her bread a lot.interesting, which years were these? I was in Bello Hall and mama Ijebu was the saviour of the boys......in the mid 90s..... |
Raymondenyi: I am so depressed and dejected getting to know d level of no confidence bestowed on our police; I know d police is very callous, buh there re some cases like dis one, u'll b so surprised onto how it 'll b tackled by d police, I tell you, don't just act based on what u prsume, without verifiable facts! U can try them on dis one.I may want to believe that you don't live in Nigeria. |
hollas2jnr: @OP: Left handedness or giving out things with one's left hand is not suppose to b an issue, just dat naija happens to b a country where we've had superstitions eaten d beta part of us. Its so much unlike d civilised world.Did you say superstition aboutd left hand is in Nigeria? Kindly extend it to the while of Africa, I've suffered everywhere. |
I was or am left handed, I was however taught and forced to use the right for writing. When you come out iwith the left hand during practical sessions in school, everyone runs as they see the left hanfed as dangerous. All procedures in all professions are described and taught in right hand. I tried playing the drum set,but I dropped it. The piano was difficult too, I could only shine in pieces where the left habd has a lot of work to do...guitar.....I dropped...violin I am still struggling.... Tis a wicked world mehn... It aint easy being left handed. My grandmother used to stand over my head with a stick when I was small to use my right hand to hold the spoon. |

CAMEROONPRIDE: Do you know the kind of experiments laboratories have to do on human but they cant because of ethic? How do you think they came up with fake breasts/silicon etc..they need the real thing no matter what.....they need dead bodies, ever heard about when I die give my brain to a laboratory? Being dead doesn't mean anything your organs can still b used for experiments, your bones, etc....anywayto each his ownHaba.... ![]() |
So how is BIS Quarterly now? |
Good day here the great ones. There is firm that won me over from Cyberpower....www.opti-solar.com. There is a company in abuja that markets these inverters. Kindly help check these inverters. I learnt some of them have in built charge controller. Does anyone know anything about these inverters? |
CAMEROONPRIDE: Another dumb woman on the loose.Organ trafficking? Is this the way you understand it? I'd advice you read more on organ trafficking cos your knowledge on that subject now is rather too elementary. |
Just registering my presence for now. I just discovered some or majority of those guys with shops doing all these installations outside are not as knowledgeable as the guys here. So I respect you guys. I have studied the thread from the first to the 37th Page. I noticed when boys here were men and when men became fathers and grandfathers. I must confess that I understood very little. I will soon come up with questions and issues when I raise money for my inverter and batteries. For now, you guys are great. Idsolar hasn't been active here....any reason? He was active at the beginning....business pressure? |
idsolar: i just stumble to this topic now. though better late than never. cyberpower inverter is good. concerning charging yes when power low or high that is why it is always good to filter the nepa supply with stab. i am now in abuja though still hv a base in kaduna. any issue about inverters and solar installation in abuja let me know or call 08098740141I'm getting a 3.5kva cyberpower by month end hopefully with just 2 batteries now. When I have 4 batteries I'll get in touch with you. I got committed with buyright. Kindly drop ur email add please. Or mail me at alstacs@yahoo.com. I followed ur thread on the solar system FTA....u guys are the best.. |
pdozie: I suggest you go through this thread on solar: https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-ftaThanks for the answers. You guys are great. I'll check up the thread. |
I must commend you, Barc for the good work here. I was wondering why your cost seems to be on the high side but now I see a lot goes into your final bill.....installation, maintennce, waranty etc. For now, I would say I love your website and this is the first time I would see technical facts presented in a very simple way. |
Hello friends, pls what does pure sine wave thing mean abd how it different from the other one? I visited a cyberpower outlet and I discovered they have two types of inverters for the same power ratings. One is cheaper and the other is more expensive. The nex question is- if I have a 3.5kva inverter with four 200mA batteries and I'm interested in getting solar charging option to it, what do I need to get in terms of cost. @Ethnan- thanks for answering my questions all the time. I'm yet to acquire my inverter yet oh. |
