Is it true that the Op system on the racebolt Q can be upgraded? I heard that rumour, could someone please confirm? |
israel007: Same thing happened to us 2 months back. And it was same medviewCould you give details, please. |
Blu Malam: This report is very questionable.Really? This NL self... I'm now a pilgrim too then cos I fly medview almost on a weekly basis between Abuja and Lagos. |
Long but interesting. |
Seun: Apologies.Seun, carry go jooor, nothing do you. Guys, is it easy to be a big boy? Big boys speak sparingly. |
Siena: What is 600large?Oga sienna, allow bybj in his own Naira slangs...... 600 large? I would sincerely want to believe he meant Km too and not miles, otherwise, that car was a gonner at purchase... |
I don't have a new drivers licence, can I still register a new vehicle in Lagos or Abuja. Since they say the new plates will be linked to the owner now. |
banky3w: I love this thread. i'll travel down to Abuja and find gudu market to buy 5w 30. I pray my seals are not leaking already.Where in Gudu market? I hope our brothers there as are not selling funny oils there packaged as genuine....... This is one big problem with automobile parts and accessories in Nigeria |
I am sincerely impressed with the quality of knowledge being impacted here by so many scholarly articles. This is unlike many section sections of Nairaland where people bully themselves with thoughts of heads. I sincerely never knew cars have specified oils for them till I came across this thread. It is a surprise that the so called experts in many service sections of stations don't know what oil a car should use. My oil cap reads 5w-30 and what they can make of that is that any expensive oil in the range of N5000-10000 will do. I've been using Total 20w-50 for almost 3 years now on my camry. My question is, can I switch over to the recommended? Or is too late to do that? In addition, which of the companies sell 5w-30 in Nigeria? Mobil? Or Total? Are transmission fluids also specified for cars too? If they are, how do I know where it is? Pls help a brother. |
this is impressive. the fine details however may be difficult to appreciate from these pix. I am averse to painting after a few bad experiences in the past. I hated my cars so much that all I do now is just to manage any minor scratch and sell off cars if I have a major bashing. Guys, thank you so much for your referrals here. I will check them out, give testimony and refer other. |
andyanders: Some Nigerians in collaboration with some of these fraudulent Lebanese people and some coloured people pretending to be white people are killing the industry. The way we run air transport in this country is too bad. You can imagine the crashed aircraft's pilot and engineers arguing before the aircraft crashed. We are in a mess and a Minister coming to say it was an act of God is annoying.do not completely believe all u hear in the report. this is still Nigeria and we are only told what they want us to believe. unfortunately, the pilots aren't around to refute or otherwise. the dead must be guilty....... I believe the pilots error in that associated flight was just a small part of the reason for the crash.... |
Jakumo: Don't let Bayelsa take Niger Delta by force, Musiwa. Show Nairaland BY SATELLITE PICTURE NOW how we can conquer Bayelsa and remove all trouble maker there to Benin Republic. Fulani are too plenty there and I see their cow eating in your picture, near red ink arrow. We are buying their cow, but their cow is eating our farm and not pay, and laughing us. Is that right?una no go kill person. now, understand the red inks on maps now...lol. |
Emzybrown: Too long i cant readnow I know why u will be banned from NL for 48 years
|

No 2 and 3 should not feature here please. Have seen the budgets of Universities? u will cry when u see properties being illegally acquired by the principal officers and heads of departments. where do you think they get money from? so who do you think should acquire public address system for lecture halls? government? pls come off that. |
alorauzoms: Is dis phone dual active Or dual standby. Also would like to know hw good is d batteryI bought this phone 5 days ago and it is really wonderful. I've been waiting for a better release from Samsung to replace the grand duos. when I saw the Techno Phantom A+ specifications, I searched Lagos, Abuja and finally, Ibadan but didn't get. one shop introduced this hotplate or electronic pressing iron to me. Unfortunately, it seems to be the best phone I've ever seen in my life and it has never been as hot as any android Samsung, BlackBerry or techno phone I've ever seen or used. Dual sim standby and battery is wonderful. screen is killing me......I love it. This noise about hotness, where did people get that from? my phone has not been hot at all since I bought it. The phone hardly leaves my hand as I'm always pressing it......multimedia streaming, hotspot etc.... I've a friend who has a phantom A+ and I've not regretted one day since I bought it. I also thank my stars I didn't get the techno phantom. |
sincerely, I think all the local flights are not doing fine. They are all born of the same mother. Arik is useless..... poor customer service, flight delays, cancellations and lots funny incidences. Aero is no better. God bless the person that talked about MedView.... great airline I've flown recently....Planes younger than 10 years......that is not true though. Overland.... funny airline with prop engine planes..,..I've been so scared of props since the governor-pilot crashed and developed head injury. |
Fhemmmy: My Chairman from the Top, i hail oh - Always nice to see you on our thread . . . Currently have none of that laptop but if we have to get via Amazon and the rest, you will be looking at cost close to 188K Naira to land in Lagos . . . .Expensive!Yea, i think its Quite expensive...... |

Ma guy, mtn is a wrong network for you to be on after this fair usage data is exhausted. There is no way to deactivate your bis till the date of expiry. Just get another network and subscribe to bis week or something till your mtn expires. I've been there before. |
I get worried when I see some members other health professionals are happy when they are addressed as Drs. I enter a lot of private labs and a see a desk and chair for consultation arranged by the MLS ....there are still a lot to be achieved in med lad science if only people will look inwards and develop themselves. I see that in parmaceutical shops in nigeria too. Does it mean that these people think that being the Dr is the ultimate in healthcare delivery? If not, then I consider that they are "descending low" by pretending to be drs who are "actually nothing" in their words. A well trained Dr will never look down on any other member of the healthcare team. Is it about salary? Different professions have different levels of involvement in patient care. If it is the amount of physical exertion, then the compound labourers and cleaners should receive the highest pay in institutions. I also believe it is like that in other parts of the world, in fact some specialists (consultant drs) get almost double of what some get in emolument. The rule is, if you think the neurosurgeon does not deserve better pay than you, just abandon your paediatrics and become a neurosurgeon too. I have a neurologist friend who thinks he deserved better than he got and he later went in for neurosurgery. That was crazy but that is his view of life.... Is it about education? Every profession has its peculiarities in training too. If we all think teachers are useless, then I wonder who teaches our children? Nurses? Or engineers? Or drs? Teachers of course. The rule now should be ..everybody should practice his profession honourably. Do not be proud to be addressed as what you are not. Every profession should embark re-orientation and purge itself of members who bring disgrace and dishonour to the profession.....same goes for medicine too. In Nigeria however, every argument or rivalry or strife to dominate has some political, tribal or religious colours. Anyone arguing with a Nigerian needs to understand all these. Nigeria is a complex society. Please read my post well before insults are hauled at me. I see a lot foul language and disrespect on Nairaland these days. |
Laalamed: and why should not a cleaner, mortuary attendants, chew, lab technician, pharmacy technicians ,pharmacists, doctors, mls, nurses and so on with same year of working experience get the same salary. i think in health sectors all workers should be called appointed as consultants after 5years work experience viz consultant physcians, consultant pharmacists, consultant cleaner, consultant hospital maid, consultant mls, consultant secretary, consultant nurse, consultant anatomist, consultant morticians, consultant health instructor, consultant engineer. all should get the same starting salaries and post of head of department and cmd should be on rotation by balloting.there is need for equality. This is the best write up I've seen on this thread. Afterall, everybody in the airplane works for the passengers. I just wonder why the cabin crew members are never captains. When I asked further, I was told that the captain takes full responsibility for the passenger while the others assist him in achieving his goal. Can he work without them? Probably not. We may wait till the time a consultant lab scientist, nurse or pharmacist will take full responsibility for the patient and the medical doctor will only be a ancillary health worker assisting them in their management plan...... That will be the time to leave Nigeria for possibly Ghana....... Where humans don't bite dogs but dogs bite everything; all cows eat grass but every animal is important. By the way I'm a consultant. I've been reading and studying since 1992 when I entered the medical school. I became a consultant only 3 years ago.... I didn't break my study save for NYSC. Despite this "higher pay" I got since leaving the med school in 2001, I just got my first plot of land only 4 years ago. Most of my salary and earnings were spent on books, journals, examinations and courses. I've been tenant to nurses and others who were my classmates in the secondary school..... Every profession has its burden and perculiarities, none is superior to the other. If I'd wanted an easier "better life" I would have achieved a lot studying any of the other health courses. Nigeria ko ni baje oh.. |
Lolitua: All d actress in nollywood especially dah fair ones(mostly dah yorubas) ar bleachin jst 2 luk beautiful...so if dah idiot(tonto) z bleachin no nid 2 shout u all knw dah she has neva bin alryt...Could you please write this in English? I'm having a headache reading this. |
This is interesting, I started a beginers programme with AF Abuja but dropped out due to pressure for time. I'm interested in this self learning pack but why is the payment into a private account instead of the AF bank account? |
Abagworo: There's no electricity here. It is rather a refraction of light using bottle water and bleach. One can use lens and mirrors to create a much brighter form of refracton.I agree with you on that but I am just wondering how you will pay lenses and mirrors that will do exactly the same work compared with bottles picked up from trash. I even want to ask if it is possible to regulate the brightness of these bottle lights. |
so what happens at night when there's no sun? Do we really need to celebrate this in middle and lower class of Nigeria? Our houses are well lit during the day because of the way our buildings are constructed. We need light at night here, so does this provide light at night when we need it most? Since this works through the roof, what happens to floors in storey buildings that don't have access to the roof? I must however confess that this is a great discovery. |
Multiple jeopardy on this road be that oh. It would be nice if the federal government may Divert the expressway through another route and leave the present lag-ib expressway for RCCG. I love Pastor Kumuyi, you don't have to travel often for conventions....satellite reception does the work. I lost a few friends last week in road traffic accident while travelling to the redemption camp. Maybe RCCG should consider building an airport close to the camp too oh. |
Is there a new airport in Abuja with these roads and constructions? None of these roads lead to the Abuja Airport. Which kain fraud be this on Nairaland. The least I expect the moderators to do is to close this thread. |
Seun, now boys are tired of Tonto Dike nd Linda, you are under their searchlight now.... U better start talking before they ask u direct questions now... |
