doris00: The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomole has reacted to the arrest of 80 Nigerians by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) charged and indicted with conspiracy to commit fraud, conspiracy to launder money as well as aggravated identity theft.
Several others also face additional fraud and money laundering charges.
The APC Chairman reacting via his official twitter account condemned the act adding that the FBI’s steps are commendable and are the more reasons why we need to support our anti-graft agency, the EFCC to fight against these fraudsters that have brought nothing but pains to our loved ones and shame to our country;
”The arrest of these 80 Nigerians by the FBI is commendable and their fraudulent activities highly condemnable. More reasons we need to support our EFCC to fight against these fraudsters that have brought nothing but pains to our loved ones and shame to our country. #GoLegit
The cybercrime gang are believed to employ the use of fake business emails, online romances overtures and targeting of the elderly to defraud of millions of dollars.
See more here https://thickmatch.com/oshiomole-reacts-arrest-80-nigerians-fbi-internet-fraud/ The corpses of innocent Nigerian citizens killed by Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram and northern bandits and are exposed frequently online brought worse SHAME to Nigeria than the alleged fraudsters. By targeting mostly people of one Nigeria's ethnic group, it's obvious Nigerian government has taken its anti separationist groups campaign abroad. We all know the Nigerian ethnic group that are in charge of financial frauds in foreign countries.

Mizwisdom: So you can be beaten abroad on vacation and the culprits will go free because you're an ordinary visitor? Look at the law which your TAQQIYA-prone Sokoto Caliphate Nigeria Embassy quoted. It's a law covering politicians on official assignment abroad. The law quoted has nothing to do with you or any private Nigerian being beaten black and blue in a foreign land. |

kross01: The German police had already stated it clearly they are not arresting nor prosecuting anybody for this incident. OP read the sections your embassy invoked and tell me if Ike Ekweremmadu was in Germany in any official capacity or part of a government delegation? Next step, the Lying Extreme Islamist govt of Nigeria can lie that it sent Ike Ekweremadu to represent Nigeria in Igbo New Yam festival in Nuremberg. All the Islamic extremist govt wants now is how to protect it's servants in Nigeria's politics from further embarrassment abroad.

nairafame: Four members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) involved in the assault of Senator Ike Ekweremadu at an event organised by “Ndigbo Germany” in Nuremberg on Saturday August 17, have been identified by the Bavaria police.
LIB reported earlier that the German police had a cold feet in investigating the assault incident and also announced that nobody has been arrested in connection with the attack and humiliation of former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu. However the 4 attackers were brought into custody, after the Nigerian embassy invoked section 102 (1), chapter 3, of the German criminal code.
The victim can also pursue a civil case if he or she desires. A foreign affairs ministry in Abuja told TheCable that the Bavaria state police have analysed the attack videos and identified four of the suspected attackers.

But Nigeria of Sokoto Sultanate is most likely to pay through the nose to incite German govt to intimidate Nigerians abroad. |

Toroso: Imolite must get sense by fire by force when Ihedioha n PDP is tru with them.
Your youth must earnestly ask for Okorocha. Ihedioha needs to sack more redundant civil servants who do nothing but sit down and wait for month's pay. Okorocha was hiring and paying non needed workers, after looting state funds, Okorocha would use the little remaining state funds to build nonsense structures in the state capital, but abandoned Imo state outside the state capital. For short, Rochas Okorocha destroyed Imo state, he is now protected by federal might. |

Imo state does not require more than1000 civil servants. Development in that state has been grounded to a near halt due to Overbloated civil Service made by inept governors since 1999. The governors for lack of funds thus limited infrastructural development to state capital. Worst of such governors who limited to state capital was Rochas Okorocha.
Those who can pay rent in state capital troop to settle in state capital.
Other parts of the state are as good as dead zones. Stop.

OMG. This is becoming unbearable.
Let the British owners of Nigeria hands off, so that the major nations joined by Britain in 1914 to form this bottomless pit country, Nigeria, shall go back to their various nation countries.
Without fear of what may be Britain's reaction if Biafra unilaterally leaves Nigeria now, no other force can stop Biafra exit now.
These northern Nigeria nomads hiding under one Nigeria to do mayhem are powerless, if Britain ignores any possible conflict in Nigeria today.
RIP Woman and foetus.

wirinet: Believe me, the certificate issue is a non starter and just a waste of judicial time. If you read between the lines, the constitution makes no provision for any specific educational qualification to be President, it did not even specify the submission of any certificate to qualify for the office of the president. It left the educational qualification to the discretion of INEC with the following; "(d) any other qualification acceptable by the Independent National Electoral Commission;”
This means once INEC says it is satisfied with any qualification you say you have, case closed.
The school certificate requirements is cleverly worded; "(d) he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent." What exactly is secondary school certificate level ? Is an adeleke that sat for WAEC and scored F9 educated up to secondary school level? What of someone that finished class 5 or 6 as it is now and never sat for the exams. We are not even talking about the nebulous "or its equivalent" yet, which is solely determined by INEC.
The writers of the constitution did not want to say, the president requires no educational qualification. You said any other qualification accepted by INEC. A basic O Level certificate is required before any other superior certificate is adjudged valid. Any other education adjudged to be equivalent to O Level must have a certificate to convince the Judges that the owner of the certificate truly got the required education before the certificate. |

let wailers keep condemning, Europe knows it won't be where it is today if it allowed its political monarchs to keep oppressing them.
& some ignorant persons will open mouth to say we are practising democracy with all the impunity & trample on human rights Fact is that Europeans know that their youths, sacrificed a lot to save Europeans from tyrants. But old men are left to pilot the affairs of Nigeria. This results from Nigeria's political structure recreated to give political and electoral advantages to northern Nigeria mostly populated by Moslems who depend on elders for leadership, do not query their elders regarding political leadership in relation to well-being of the masses.

Abagworo: I've been to Orlu and even interior parts where mansions are like purewater. Even Mbano the same thing and yes they all have good roads. When did you start talking about Imo state outside Owerri? For more than five years on Nairaland, you continued to post Owerri as Imo state. People warned you all those years that you were on wrong lane. |

Abagworo: How many roads in Awka, Nnewi and Onitsha are expanded like Orlu? You are merely inviting Chino to continue with his posting of poto poto streets of Imo. The dilapidated streets of Orlu and the uncompleted urban drainage canal abandoned by your Okorocha/Nwosu shall hunt their consciences forever, if their consciences work well. |
Politics › Re: Court Voids Uche Nwosu’s Governorship Candidature In Imo by Amah70: 9:47pm On Aug 19, 2019 |
Abagworo: The difference between Owerri and Orlu or Awka is that the houses are mostly mansions and not block of flats and stores. Even the area with block of flats like Ikenegbu is well arranged unlike Awka, Orlu and most other Igbo towns. This is Ikenegbu Mansions in Orlu. Okorocha saw the mansions in scores of the dilapidated streets of Orlu. He never cared to pave the streets. He went to pave most of the streets of Ogboko, even the streets of Ogboko where few persons or no one lives. |

It's the same storey buildings, mixed duplexes, village turned urban look and red earth interior with erosion threat. Absgworo. The first photo of Orlu you posted is photoshoped Ihioma Road, Orlu. That is not the true photo of the road. Don't fool anyone. Okorocha expanded three streets in Orlu that led to the his Ogboko-Orlu road. That's all. |

Abagworo: No that's not anywhere that I know of. Orlu is exactly like Awka or Umuahia Mugu. Only a crook can say that Orlu is like Awka or Umuahia. Okorocha abandoned Orlu because of ancient grudges he had against some people in Orlu in the 1990s. That's Umuna street, Orlu, scrapped by your mentor, Rochas Okorocha, in 2018. By your mention of Awka, you are indirectly inviting your friend Chino, to start rubbishing Imo state with poto poto streets from somewhere else.

Imo as a State is more advanced than mediocres like Mr Ihedioha who wasted 16 years in the legislature with no single development even in his village. What did Okorocha and Uche Nwosu develop, except build vainglory houses and boulevards in Owerri to make Okorocha be seen as good presidential material? They both never knew that Nigerians also see other towns of Imo state they abandoned to rot. Below is the centre of Orlu.

Uche Nwosu is the self acclaimed architect of Owerri urban renewal when floods were ravaging Orlu due to uncompleted urban drainage canal started by IMSG, architect of Owerri urban renewal, urban city renewed without common pipe borne water.
Uche Nwosu and Rochas Okorocha needed to borrow sense.
