significant of this cultural festival organised by the church is that the church utilises this period to pray for farmers,bless the land for the next farming season, and take permission from God before harvesting.
Chief Ihedioha was a special guest to this special event where he noted that Nigeria and the world at large deserves peace to grow.
He urged the church to continue to promote peace between one another. On Imo and Nigeria, He said, "it's my prayer that in 2019, God will give Imo people the leaders they deserve. Nothing can really stop that this period".
Ihedioha, please promise that you shall bring the infrastructure in Orlu near to the standard of Owerri, asphalt Orlu urban roads, complete the urban drainage system, revitalize IMSUTH,.
And you must fulfill your promise. We promise you of absolute victory in Orlu.

Too many people started to perceive there must be something wrong with Rochas Okorocha when he started to undermine the Imo state university teaching hospital Orlu which is the only available hospital closest to his Ideato kin; a hospital once viable and in Imo state's second most populated city which gave the highest number of votes to Okorocha in 2011.
Okorocha set out to ruin the hospital with hundreds of medical students therein because of his desire to own a private university in his home village.

Vanguard reports that Buhari however said he was happy that his administration had been able to prove that it could contain the insurgents.
The statement by his senior special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, revealed that the president at a joint press conference he held with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey after their talks in Ankara.
“We were very surprised and disturbed by the claim made by Boko Haram on what they have been getting from ISIS. “We know we will be able to contain them and we have proven that we can do it. “We are very pleased that Turkey is in a position to assist us and has been strengthening our educational and health institutions,” Buhari reportedly said at the press conference.
According to the statement, the two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation between the security agencies of both countries to counter terrorism. Buhari said he was ‘‘very pleased’’ that the defence ministers of both countries held extensive discussions on developing new strategies for counter-terrorism.
He said: “We are very pleased with the progress of the meeting so far and we are going to wait for the details of meetings between the two countries. “We will as a result of the meeting between the ministers and officials of both countries strengthen rapidly whatever their recommendations are.”
Commenting on the degradation of Boko Haram in Nigeria, the President said the improved security situation in the North East was an eloquent testimony to the efforts of his administration in combating terrorism since he came into office in May 2015 Buhari said the two leaders also discussed the prospects of increasing their bilateral trade, which has exceeded $779m in the first eight months of 2017.
“There are a lot of potentialities in terms of investments and a lot is being done in the educational and health sectors in Nigeria. “These will be strengthened and I assure you that Nigeria is prepared to accept Turkish business people to come and explore more of Nigeria’s potentialities,” the Nigerian leader said. In his remarks, Erdogan said Nigeria had great potentials and remains “a global actor in terms of economy, demographics and its peacekeeping records.”
He indicated that Turkey was interested in investing in Nigeria’s electricity, refineries and gas sectors, adding that increasing the flights between Turkey and Nigeria would further improve commercial and people-to-people relationships. On the fight against terrorism, the Turkish leader said: “There is no difference between Boko Haram, Fethullah Terrorist Organisation or Daesh , which have all killed, inflicted pain and hardship on innocent people.
All of these organisations are hordes of murderers that feed on the innocent people, and in the fight against terrorism, we will stand with our Nigerian friends, and we are ready to share our experience and provide all kinds of support. “We also expect the same cooperation from Nigeria in fighting against Fethullah that murdered 250 Turkish citizens last year.”
nwakibie3: The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Lagos State Chapter, Joe Igbokwe has given reasons the party at national level, cannot support young persons seeking to be Nigeria’s president.
The APC chieftain, who doubles as Chairman of the Lagos State Wharf Landing Fees Collecting Authority, said the young ones do not know the country.
Stating why the party would not support the “Not Too Young To Run” campaign, Igbokwe asserted that experience was required to hold a political post in Nigeria.
He also advised the youths to wait until they were old enough to hold political posts.
“When a young person is coming in, experience matters. The young person who is going to come, we want to know his pedigree – where are you coming from, what are you capable of doing,” he told SaharaReporters.
“If you pick a young person and make a governor, when he gets to that seat, he won’t know where to start from because you don’t have the experience and have not done that kind of job before.
“The young person cannot teach the old traditions; they should go and learn the trade because you can’t give what you don’t have. I will tell young people to be patient and not sound like a wailer.
“They don’t understand this country; the young ones are not seeing anything because they don’t want to see it,” he said.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has declared that he would no longer tolerate the indiscriminate kidnapping of policemen across the country.
Speaking, during a meeting with top police officers, from the rank of commissioners, the IGP said a situation where policemen allowed themselves to be kidnapped like fowls was unacceptable.
He said the spate of kidnapping of police officers across the country was not only worrisome but also becoming an embarrassment to the police, who are supposed to be providing security for the country.
Idris said state commissions of police would now be held responsible for the kidnap of any police personnel under their commands, even as he urged them to be more conscious of their movement and environment.
Recalling the numbers of Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) so far kidnapped, the IGP said police chiefs should know that they were potential targets of kidnapers and other criminal groups, while urging them to do the needful about their personal security.
He said he would no longer tolerate the situation where officers took issues of their personal security lightly, saying their primary duty was to first protect themselves before protecting others.
He said: “Officers have to be very serious about their own personal safety because it is becoming an embarrassment. The CPs would be held liable for any policeman or DPO or whatever picked up like a fowl. It is very annoying.”
The IGP, who dwelt more on security and safety of police personnel during the discharge of their duties, said: “Some days ago, one of our DPO was kidnapped in Niger. How can you be a DPO, with policemen in your command, and you drive alone as if you don’t have anybody? You allow these useless kidnapers to just pick you; it is very embarrassing.
“We had this same issue in Zamfara State, where an AC on leave travelled alone and was kidnapped; it is embarrassing. Utilise the men under you; you must protect yourself first before you protect other people. Obviously, you are going to be a target.”

Garba Shehu also revealed he supported the Nigerian Army in its recent declaration that the Indigenous People of Biafra is a terrorist group.
Recall, earlier on Wednesday, The Federal High Court in Abuja has approved the application by the Federal Government, seeking the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Now, Mr. Shehu, who made this known while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, said the Federal Government had closely monitored the activities of the group, its inability to embrace dialogue, hence qualified to be called a terrorist organisation.
He also revealed the herdsmen did not fight to take over any region like IPOB and Boko Haram did..
He said;
“We looked at this organisation, we analysed it, and it fits the description of a terrorist organization.
If it fits the description of a terrorist organization, then it is a terrorist organization,”
Although the Presidential Aide admitted that the military by its declaration alerted Nigerians of their own analysis, he, however, revealed the Federal Government was bound to follow up “some processes.”
“That yes, it fits in and as Americans say, ‘If it walks like a duck, it moves like a duck, it looks like a duck, then it is a duck.’
“Therefore, that is it. That is their own description of it. So, the processes we are bound to follow since they are fully aware of the fact that from the point of view of the law, they cannot do what the law does not empower them to do.”
Mr. Shehu further explains that IPOB leader, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu had earlier aborted peace moves made by the governors of the five eastern states headed by Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi, as well as Senators from the region.
He said;
“IPOB itself has clearly indicated that they are not interested in dialogue. You know that in the run-up of these processes, the governors of the states in the region had put up a forum, IPOB said, ‘No, thank you, we are not interested.’
“The Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria set up a delegation and they said, ‘IPOB we want to speak to you,’ and they said, ‘no, thank you.’”
“Initially yes, it is clear that the leader had himself shut everyone out of the whole process,”
He then added;
"There is a difference between a criminal activity and a terrorist activity, yes the fulani herdsmen are a criminal gang and they are being treated as criminals according to the law of the country.. But IPOB like Boko Haram as a territory have carved on to themselves as a sovereign state of their own, they have should willingness to invade states and raised concerns in neighbouring states, like Kogi, Benue and have said they are interested in taking over Bayelsa and Rivers and have raised up a flag"
If the Igbo, Yoruba and rest of SS allow this to be, Fulani has finally captured Nigeria for keeps; and forever. Any resistant Igbo, Yoruba or SS organization can easily be tagged terrorist organization by Fulani.
IPOB has never harmed even a fly, never killed a human, never fired a shot on anybody. IPOB has an official policy of restoring Biafra through peaceful means.

Mrl1: The Igbo community in Adamawa State on Thursday dismissed the agitation for Biafra. Leader of the community, Godwin Onemaka while addressing journalists in Yola, described the struggle for Biafra as unnecessary. Onemaka urged the agitators to consider the consequences of plunging Nigerian into chaos by divisive activities. Citing the effect of another Civil war, Onemaka maintained that Biafra agitation had failed and there was no need to restart it again. According to Onemaka, agitators should have a rethink because people of the South East extraction are looking for ways to develop there selves. Onemaka said, “Biafra agitation has failed and there is no need to restart it; the agitators should consider the interests of the Igbo in other parts of the country. “We, the Igbo in Adamawa, kick against the agitations for Biafra and we view it as an unnecessary capable of plunging the nation into crisis. “We advise the agitators to stop, so that Nigeria will remain united and they should remember that since the agitation had failed in the past, revisiting it is unnecessary. “We are looking for a way of developing ourselves and the country while most of us have invested much outside south eastern part of the country. “So, we want to distance ourselves from the agitation, we have lived in the northern part of the country for years and our children have studied there most of whom are graduates now.’’

The need for peaceful coexistence by all tribes in Nigeria was Wednesday reinforced when Arewa youths in Anambra State signed a peace pact with the Igbo Peace Movement in Awka the capital of the state.
The two youth bodies while signing the pact expressed their unwavering commitment to peace and unity of Nigeria. In the pact signed at a press conference the two youth bodies also expressed their commitment to an indissoluble Nigeria and urged other youths to emulate them to keep the nation one.
In a communique signed by the President of Arewa Youths in the state, Alhaji Bello Maigari and the leader of Igbo Peace Movement, Ambassador Divine Onyekachi, they stated their resolve to ensure that Nigeria was not plunged into another civil crisis.
They stressed that though there might be valid reasons for agitations in the country by some sections, such agitations must be done through proper procedures.
According to the youths: “Peace and unity of the country are paramount and should supersede every other interest. Nigeria’s strength is in the nation’s unity in diversity and only convergence of efforts from all ethnic groups can make Nigeria reclaim its rightful place in the comity of nations.”
Also the youths acknowledged what they described as the federal and state governments commendable steps towards reassuring Nigerians of the country’s unity as evidenced in the recent visit of some northern governors on a peace mission to the South-East.
They therefore called on MASSOB, Igbo Youth Congress, Indigenous People of Biafra, Arewa Consultative Forum, Northern Youth Congress and Concerned Northerners to do all they could to make the country great. Ambassador Oneykachi, said that the younger generation must wake up and make a difference in the country by ensuring that peace reigned while his Arewa counterpart, Maigari said the purpose of the meeting was to preach peace among Nigerians.
A president that urges UN to intervene and protect Muslims in Myanmar but uses his army to kill his fellow citizens because of their religion( el zakzaky ) and political opnions ( Ipobs) is indicative of the fact that he values religious affinity over Nigeria

She shared a photo of her grandma and the building and wrote;
“My grandma Chief/Mrs. P.A Nwameme built this 3 story rental property with 18 first level storefronts in Mgbidi,IMO State in 1976. Governor Rochas and his evil contractors only gave her verbal notice to remodel the building to the standard of the new market. So my mother and her siblings decided to call from the U. S to look for a contractor who can remodel the three story building. The plan was when a suitable contractor was found, my mother and her siblings will all go to Nigeria in order to supervise the renovation. Before we knew it, my mother got a call from Nigeria that my grandmother’s three story building was bulldozed. Governor Rochas and his evil contractors never gave any time for a renovation. With no type of remorse he destroyed a 60million Naira worth building, with no compensation. This is illegal and shameful on the governor’s part. People live in that three story building and they have their businesses there. He has displaced so many people.My grandmother is a widow and this is one of her retirement incomes. This is so wrong on every level. They encourage Igbo people in diaspora to come back to Nigeria to develop but , yet they are destroying our property. It is very discouraging to want give back when your own people treat you like rubbish.”
After destroying the house and starting the market re-modelling job, Okorocha is most likely to abandon the job uncompleted.
Market? Okorocha started a less than 600 meters road in 2012 to lead to International Market Orlu. Till today, the road remains abandoned. Only road leading to the market hardly allows passage of two cars at a time. This is a market that has more than 40,000 visitors a day, and employs about 10,000 persons.
Gov. Okorocha destroys mostly for his pocket private businesses and presidential pursuits.
Since 2012, for his own private university business, Okorocha started destroying the once flourishing and multi-billion Naira Imo State University Teaching Hospital Orlu, by deliberately refusing to repair the 1km road to the institution, so that patients would not visit the institution;
Okorocha deliberately owed arrears of salaries to worker so that doctors would run away from IMSUTH;
diesel was deliberately refused to the Lister generators of IMSUTH, at night, total darkness engulfed the institution, so that even the poorest patient would not come for treatment here.
Alas, last October, Okorocha told the falsehood that IMSUTH was not viable and would be relocated to Owerri. He set up a kangaroo committee headed by Speaker of IMHA, Acho Ihim, to find ways to relocate IMSUTH Orlu to Owerri;
to make Owerri look the other way when Okorocha shall announce that the shares of Imo state govt in Eastern Palm University have been fully bought by a Rochas Foundation business.
Okorocha told the National Universities Commission last year that "Eastern Palm University is my 12 years dream come true."
But his dream may be aborted with his Python Dance with IMSUTH.
This is road to IMSUTH coming from Owerri. Okorocha scrapped this road since 2012 and refused to asphalt it till today.
And this is road to Imo state University Teaching Hospital Orlu, the second most-populated city in the same Imo state.. The road was scrapped and abandoned since 2012: Purpose? To make people not patronize the hospital so that it is declared non-viable in its location; it's believed that the governor wants to exchange the teaching hospital for his personal business pursuits.
