This is a perfect case of your destiny in your hands

I really want Arsenal to win it for effort but it seems the citizens or Liverpool will clinch it this time around
Sports › Re: Who Have Advantage Of Wining Premier League Title Among Top Three Contenders by ambale(m): 3:09pm On Apr 08, 2024
Zonefree:
Wolves, Bournemouth and Everton are the teams Arsenal can win comfortably. Won't be easy for them against Man U, Chelsea, Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Liverpool will struggle against Tottenham and Everton(Merseyside derby).

Man city will win all their remaining matches comfortably except with Tottenham where they can scale with a draw or painful narrow win.

Tottenham Hotspur will be the determinant of EPL champion this season.

In all, congratulations to Man city in advance for lifting the trophy once again.
Seconded

Man city have been on this route before, I also think they are winning the league

I am less concerned.

Go to FIRS CBN office, most of them are just going to gossip and have fun. Only few are working while the rest are busy with their phones.

Same as Pencom, SEC..... This is why we cant or struggling to be productive in this nation.....

Infact all govt agencies and parastatals plus ministries are just for free salary.. Waste of public funds and tax payer money

Why do you think people pays millions of naira to get a govt job hoping to recoup it back when they get the job.?
You can say that for almost all government parastatals

The civil service is just a parasitic venture milking the entire nation dry with their corruption

Any reforms that won't change that, na still joke.

This current system of secrecy in government dealings won't help the nation at all

The government and her cronies keep siphoning funds meant for development and tell the citizens to fast and off their refrigerator

So after the float of Naira, foreign reserves no grow

The cosmetic approach to issues is not and won't work

Let the president come out and tell the citizens the reality and let's see how to work together

You cant tell people to drop their dollars when all you do is embezzle the ones in your possession

God help the country
Politics › Re: Greed, Wickedness Greater Sins Than Homosexuality – Sanusi by ambale(m): 9:06am On Apr 08, 2024
Emeritus1200:
What he meant is simple. Being homosexual does not affect the prices of garri in the market. It does not make getting needs hard for the people. Your corruption is between you and God. It doesn't make life difficult for the people. However, when you are wicked and greedy, it will affect the people around you. If you siphon public funds, everyone will feel the consequences, even the unborn generations.

I believe he is right. Greed and wickedness are corruption against the people and humanity.
People don't even know that greed kills faster than homosexuality

Greed can wipe out an entire generation

The Nigerian Army remains tactless and that's why they couldn't even win a war against rag tag bandits, always attacking soft target

What happened to intelligence and investigation?

Or do they really think the perpetrators dey inside that forest?

It could even be from within, cos how can senior military officers just go on a mission and get killed like that?

Cos if not so, how can a group of boys just gather themselves and start collecting 4k from transporters?
And it's not just in delta, they are everywhere taxing motorists, pedestrians and all

datopaper:
I have realise that africa politicians see opposition as only means to criticise the government. If you are not there, everything the government does is rubbish. Atiku was vice president, he was placed to oversee selling of public assets. It was criticised by opposition then. He supported buhari initially but after sometime they fell apart.

Somebody must be in government at a particular time. The government must have priorities. People must criticise. We should be concern about solutions at all time.

Government go and come.
Opposition and criticism is a huge part of democracy, even during the military rule there were still oppositions and criticisms

Or wetin Dem dele giwa, Fela and co dey do then?

But truth be told, baba Bola no dey try at all, his policies are more suffocating the populace

Imagine person wan do ordinary fence for him house they spend more than three million naira

Almost every Nigerian now falls in the middle class and poor status, yet the government has refused to speedily bring succour to the people

Politics › Re: Electricity Tariff: Dr Joe Abah Throws A Challenge To AEDC by ambale(m): 12:56pm On Apr 05, 2024
One issue our government institutions are having is transparency

Prior to now, we only knew about 33kva and 11kva power lines, now that they want to increase the tariff, then they start bringing Band A, B, c

How many customers knew of such arrangement in time past? All of a sudden you want us to agree cos you think you are doing us a favor

That was how ojuyobo scammed his proteges with fuel subsidy removal, till today, we never even see hourly gains, not to talk of monthly gain
DaddyGngeess:
Even me because i used upto 900k in a month for diesel and fuel in my business so in three months 1m is ok very ok for me, i join the challenge, they have increased it already, i bought electricity this morning 5k that normally gives me 61units gave me 20 this morning that is almost 200% increase

As We crave to have a functional infrastructures like good roads, hospitals, schools, power.
We should also realise that it requires money to deliver what we crave for.
Social economy is not sustainable for over 200million population with low GDP
The population of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar put together are not up to Nigeria's
The increase in revenue of the govt will lead to subsequent increase in infrastructures, wages and services.
I stand with Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his Economic reforms.
And when you choke the people out, who and who will use the infrastructures?

As we speak majority of government infrastructures are being occupied by miscreants who don't have where to sleep

Make una dey play, you think hunger doesn't need equal attention or even more attention than infrastructures

Many customers in urban cities (poor or middle class) are classified under band A whether they get up to 20 hours of electricity or not.

Band A is not just for rich people as some Tinubu supporters are insinuating.
Those ones are agenda pushers now, after the removal of the subsidy, we all saw that what we refer to as rich men in Nigeria are all bunch of middle class men

And they are here shouting Rich men are only the ones affected

Majority of the rich men are even off grid as solar is more beneficial to them
