The truth is that the press are being surpressed like in military rule. She is not only saving her job but protecting her TV station. Remember what happened to AIT recently. Nigeria has moved from the Jonathan era when there was freedom of speech and media houses carry any news they like. There are some truths that you will carry now and either NCC will close your station based on flimsy excuses or DSS officials will be waiting for you by next morning. Tinubu did not really come for condolence, he came to spread a political message, muddy the water a little bit, and of course divert attention away from Fulani herdsmen-his paymasters.
However, pertinent questions are begging for answers:

1. Has Evans been convicted and sentenced of the crimes in question?
2. Like Evans, we have other criminals from Yoruba, hausa, Ijaw, etc facing the law as required, right? Why are alleged Fulani criminal not in court?
3. Where are the "criminals" who have attempted to kill Olu Falea in his farm many times now?
4. Any idea who's occupying major parts of Ondo forest?
5. Has anyone solved the many cases of unsolved herdsmen robbery, rape, and vandalism in Yoruba land, and other parts of the country?

This shows that like corruption, petty theft, and credit card fraud, causing political confusion for short term gain is another lesson learned by Tinubu from Chicago.

Olu Falae: Court sentences seven Fulani herdsmen to life imprisonment for kidnapping

Seven Fulani herdsmen who were involved in the kidnap of a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Olu Falae, have been sentenced to life imprisonment by an Ondo State High Court.

Justice Williams Olamide, on Monday found the Fulani herdsmen guilty of kidnapping Falae from his farm in Ilado Village, Akure North Local Government Area of the state in September, 2015.

Those convicted include, Abubakar Auta, Bello Jannu, Umaru Ibarahim, Masahudu Muhammed, Idris Lawal, Abdulkadir Umar and Babawo Kato.

All convict were arraigned on five counts of kidnapping, abduction, aiding and abetting, kidnapping, conspiracy and armed robbery.

Their offences, according to the Ondo State Government contravened Section 2 of the Anti-Kidnapping and Anti-Abduction Law, 5(1) (a) of the Anti-Kidnapping and Anti-Abduction Laws, Section 3(11)(b) of the Anti-Kidnapping and Abduction Law, Section 6(b) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provision) Act, Cap R11, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, and Section 1(2)(a) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provisions) Act, Cap R11, Vol. 14, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

The judge held that the “recovered ransom, call logs, and identification of the suspects by Falae himself indicted the convicts of complicity” in the crime.

Against this backdrop, Justice Olamide subsequently sentenced the convicts to Olokuta prison, Akure for life, without an option of fine.

Since 2015, Nigeria lost over 30,000 people to the barbaric Fulani herdsmen. Benue buried thousands, plateau buried thousands, the yorubas were not moved. They still voted buhari because of greed.

Buhari is calmly restructuring the entire territory of Nigeria into an Arewa nation. He needs bendable people in his cabinet so that he can achieve that. We can't just depend on any Supreme Court to get out of this entrapment. The ethnic nationalities did not sign up for this. We therefore have to re-write the conditions for this union, or scrap the union. We are the indigenous people, Fulani are not. No international court will condone the illegal migration of Fulani fro other parts into Nigeria, then the plan for a settler people to grab our lands under the guise of cattle colony/ranch etc. It's either by Referendum or by other means. We cannot keep on submitting ourselves to a terrible existence. Why? Is it fair to our children and to their children?

INEC settles for nationwide pilot electronics transmission of results

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that it would only do a nationwide pilot electronic transmission (e-collation) of results in the forthcoming general elections.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this in his opening remarks at the Commission’s regular quarterly meeting with the media on Tuesday in Abuja.

He said that for the Commission to do [color=#FF0000]full electronic transmission of results[/color] there must be a backing law for that.
