Governor Obiano Loses Mother

With a profound heart in gratitude to God for a fulfilled life, His Excellency, the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano announces the passing on of his dear mother, the matriarch of the Obiano family, Mrs Christiana Obiano, aged 90 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital on Friday 2nd June, 2017.

The family will make further announcements.

[i]The Government of Great Britain says it will partner Nigeria in its democratic government.

The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr Paul Arkwright stated this in a special interview when he visited the Corporate Headquarters of the Anambra Broadcasting Service Headquarters in Awka.

Mr Arkwright stated that while his visit to Anambra State is to identify areas where Great Britain can partner the state, especially in agro- business, said that he is also in the state ahead of the 2017 gubernatorial election slated for eighteenth November.

He commended the state government for placing high premium on Agriculture noting that the Anambra is one of the few States that have started exporting vegetables to the Great Britain.

American boxing legend and CEO of The Money Team, Floyd Mayweather is set to visit Anambra state this June as part of a 3- day promotional tour of Nigeria.

The tour which is being promoted by Zzini Media will see Mayweather arrive Nigeria on the 12th of June 2017. He will arrive Anambra state on the 13th of June 2017 for scheduled events including a motivational speaking event. While in the state, he will visit the studios of Anambra Broadcasting Service for an interview.
