The best students in my undergrad and grad classes were female. In the places I have worked both men and women were employed. I have had female bosses who I respected so much. Every top university anywhere in the world today admits women. Organizations like Chevron, Google and the likes employ both men and women.

Sometimes, I wonder what these ultra-feminists want. It will make sense to me if they are more bothered about the very vulnerable in the society like making sure every girl have access to quality education and that widows are protected. However, many of them overlook some of these issues. They just appear to be men hater. They don't seem to be concerned about getting the best for women but how to attack men.

Feminists will scream and attack what they describe as "gender roles". They believe such should never exist. However, the mother nature shaped our reproductive organs differently based on the roles they are expected to perform.

If a 45 year-old woman is in the same room with a 19 year-old boy and a big lizard or snake runs in, the woman will seek cover behind the 19 year-old boy. Whether we like it or not, there are gender roles.

Men and women are designed to complement each other in every way. This is the very fact the philosophy of feminism is against. A friend of mine did something to his woman; she hugged him with teary eyes and told him he made her feel like a woman. To me that statement is both real and powerful. A normal man want to feel like a man and a normal woman want to feel like a woman.

I am a very good cook but when a woman serves me food I feel special. In turn many ladies, no matter how rich, will feel loved when their men buy them things, take them out and treat them like queens. There should not be competition among sexes; they should complement themselves.

I wish i can like this post a thousand times. The whole idea of what they call feminism make zero sense to me. A woman is a woman ,same with man God made it so. The day feminists will start fighting for the girl child being maltreated by Madam, raped by Oga,i will started taking them serious.

True. I once heard a story of an army intelligence officer who went underground and discovered some powerful General doing dirty deals with this fight. When he requested for surveillance equipment to capture evidences,a meeting was done on his head and he was alerted to flee.

A friend of my DH struggled for years. I even felt inconvenienced at a point because he was our house visitor and even brought his matter here on nairaland. Now after many years of no job,failed business and his family refusing to assist him financially to restart his business,a small girl he met 2years ago has stabilized him with the money she gets from her rich family. So tomorrow if he buys her a car,someone somewhere who knows nothing about their story will be saying stuff like this? This talk is a slap to women like us who hustle with their partners and encourage younger ladies to do same.

Jealousy and envy everywhere. Appreciating people who stood by you is now evil. May God keep away people like this from me and my generation. Only sadists think this way. If you don't want to appreciate yours please leave others who want to appreciate theirs. And is not as if the ladies go on bugging them to appreciate them, it was freewill. No wonder a lot of people are reluctant to assist or be loyal these days. Oh you are there only because you had no other option. Who said? And when did standing by someone through thick and thin mean sex. Does relationships not exist without sex. Is premarital sex not a sin again? Is it now something to reward?

Is the road still beside that deep valley? I have a great friend from Ngwo and this road scares me anytime i visit her.

As an employer, I cant sleep at night knowing salaries are not or have not been paid as at and when due.
I once went close to three months without paying myself to ensure that I paid my employees.
I am proud to say that I have never owed salaries in about 3 years of being an employer!

Very true, i noticed this while i was still very young because i had Aunties in their 40s that were not married.They look younger with nice shape. No strain of childbirth or something. However i also noticed that they nag a lot and are not tolerant like my mom . Some of them are now married with kids.

I just read the post again and saw where the woman said until 'the child is out of bad' she can't come. So i assume this incident just happened (2-3 days) and the child state is 'critical' not stable. Speaking to corporate is a way to go. If this incident have been weeks,then corporate would have been informed before now. That's a hell of a mean inhumane boss.

What i dislike is how this boss kept hinting on drama. Except the woman is the devils wife,i don't see how she can use something as grievous as life support for drama. I agree that this woman is not polite and feels entitled but ordinarily someone in her position will not be in a good state of mind. She doesn't want to lose her job because that's what bring the money but at the same time she cannot work. Even if she goes to work,her productivity will be very low.I once left my baby on admission with my sister in a Nigerian hospital to meet a deadline on a non working day and it took a lot of courage for me to do that. Nevertheless i was so restless. I tried to put her in my shoes because i am an employee that holds a sensitive post for my organization to run.
I think the boss suggesting outright sack is inhumane. It could have been anyone. Better options will be half pay,pay as you go(pay for only work done) while getting someone else to temporary take her shift on days she wouldn't come,leave without pay etc. Sacking someone in this position will definitely attract emotional bad blood whether in Mars or Jupiter. And if the name of their store leaks,expect some buyers to boycott chikena.

God do not do for man what man can do for himself. Nigeria need to do better

Yeah bro they are more dangerous because you have the burner directly on top of the cylinder. If the shut off valve fails,you have an explosion in your hand.Emergency response for camping gas is more difficult and risky and response time very short. It's called camping gas because it was not designed to be your regular gas cooker but for outdoor activities. If you must, use it outside in a well ventilated area not in a room.

Choose UNN,my sis graduated from there and she's grounded. UNIZIK pharmacy department is still new. I was a Zikite though but anoda faculty.

What I meant by stand alone gas are those gas that don't use cylinder. They operate alone no attachments like cylinder,tube etc.

You are taking of camp gas. It has higher fire and explosion incident rate than the regular ones. I simply mean that Camp gas is more dangerous. Always cook outside in a well ventilated place.
