I think women should raise their voice and condemned this evil against our children. And the abuse is even more on our female children. Where are the feminists? People are already blaming the parents of the so called maids. What of orphans? I know a couple husband -Doctor,wife-nurse that died one year apart.Now their young kids are living with aunties and uncles. Oil and gas is not just about engineering alone, the oil field contract agreement types between the shareholders and the government are very different even in the same country. Some are Joint ventures like the Qua Iboe fields while most deep water fields in Nigeria are PSCs (Production Sharing Contracts).
Several oil companies come together to invest in and develop an oil field.
Statoil is a shareholder in Agbami oilfield just like Chevron and Petrobras. Chevron is the operator (runs the day to day production and maintenance of the field and platform). Major decisions made require inputs from all partners in the field.
Statoil has about 20% stake in Agbami but this ruling has reduced their stake to about 15%. So they have to pay the value of about 5% to the beneficiaries.

Homosexuality is unnatural and an major alternation in the natural scheme of things. I am tired of people trying to market it to us all the time. God created them male and female for a reason because without reproduction,life will go into extinction.Why are these people trying to end the existence of life. Somebody said they can get children through IVF. Does IVF produce sperm or egg? They can only do this by following nature which they go against. You don't want a woman but you will get donated egg from a woman and fertilize it in a lab and plant in the womb of a woman as a surrogate to grow into a child. IVF was invented as a fertility treatment for childless couple not those who originally rejected childbearing by going into a biological impossible union. And what will they teach the children? That it is normal for two men or two women to copulate. When something that is unnatural becomes normal what happens? Like lets make madness normal too. As at today there is no biological proof of homosexuality unlike left and right handedness someone on this thread was taking about. Quite frankly no way u can compare uk standard of living with that of Nigeria I have survived with less than £1,700/month, then I had no responsibility. Every penny I earn was for me alone. In uk, a family man with 2 kids can never survive on that amount without recourse to public funds or other means of income. It's almost impossible. Truth is u will lead a better quality of life in Nigeria if u live and earn the equivalent of £1,700 (850k) here in Naija than u would in uk, far better.
