@hajarahbadmus Glad to hear you are ok. Maybe baby want to still come in June as earlier planned. @Genyebere You sound worried, please calm down ok. The Lord is your strength. Try walking and the pineapple thing too.I read somewhere when one mama said she used primrose oil to rippen the cervix. But in all ask your doc before your try anything. It will end in praise. JOHESU i use God beg una,the strike don do. How many times will you go on strike in one year and keep suffering people. See me wey no keep money to go private hospital. God pass una hooha. @ All mamas in financial difficulty;God will see us through. Amen. |
NavierStokes:Well you are right, diplomacy is tough in Africa esp with a clearly stubborn old school fellow like Buhari but I still believe nothing is impossible. He has done a lot of things wrong but It would have been better to vote him out in the next 3years than compounding our problems. Buhari is not wise and will never be. My pain is that in all this Buhari and his family will still live in luxury while most of us will be struggling with basic need of food and shelter. |
Destroying infrastructure is not the answer because the effect is on everybody and more on the people you claim to be fighting for. Egs the Escravos electricity pipeline gives light to the terminal and surrounding villages now it's shutdown, the villages will be in perpetual darkness until this problem is fixed while Buhari and his Abuja cohorts will always have electricity. Bombing of Chevron facilities created more financial problem for me personally than for Buhari. Demand for a sovereign nation is good,I want that too but what happened to diplomatic means. We have fought this way before and they offered us amnesty and the high and mighty benefited and enriched themselves while the youths of Niger Delta go hungry. Most of our educated youths got nothing ,only armed men were recognized, the more armed you re the better. |
Mamas weldone.I can see fresh lovely cuties on the thread. Thank God for the gift of all our children, born and unborn. May God continue to protect our Los. @ Chinwendym I sight our Bobo oooo. Nwa nkea na enye m joy. If na like this, i no mind born seven oooo. May God keep him in divine health and wisdom. He's indeed golden,no wonder you were in the waiting room for so long. |
My sister, the truth is that if his parents did not accept you,the war you will face in that house will make u forget the definition of love. Love is not enough for a marriage to be successful. The pressure will be too much on ur man esp if he's the first son. My sincere advice is; -Pray together about it. Two cannot work together unless they agree says the Bible. -Let ur man visit his parents and raise the issue again. If they are still adamant,he should approach an elderly uncle (a man older or age mate with his dad) for help. Let him pls tell them that 'the Yoruba girl no jazz am,because I tell it dey their mind. He can also talk to their pastor or Rev. If he persists with love and respect,he will win them over. If you guys decide to go the 'parents cannot dictate for me route' then be ready for lack of peace of mind in ur marriage and at the end ur man will still blame you as if you forced him. And if you have any challenge like delay in child bearing (but God forbid) sorry will be your name. |
Happy birthday chizeal and blessedmum, many more successful years. @enkaydewdrop my mind don settle, glad u re ok. It's well with that person. |
enkaydewdrop I hope you're okay. Pls don't cry. |
@ Genyebere my mate was taking Lipton but with enough milk. ,they say it helps to keep baby weight in check. I don't know if it's true.It will end in praise. |
GenyEbere:This pelvimetry is it compulsory, thought they can use hands check someone's pelvic bone? Nne the Lord is ur strength. One woman told me how she pushed out 5kg baby. The doc may decide to force labour to avoid ur baby being too big. All the best dear. |

@Wendy80 Congrats Mama on the arrival of your princess. @GenyEbere You did not complete this carrot stew preparation method. I wanna eat it. @aghaibiam May God replenish all you have lost. Its well with you. Happy anniversary to all mama's that celebrated. Welcome to all new mum's. Read where a mama complained about late salary payment, the thing is sad. My own is so bad, like 10 months now. I'm hoping on God to recover my money. On Labour: I look forward to a short and swift labour . FTM that had short labour please share your ideas. Heard kpekusing helps but DH no gree, says it will hurt his baby . I'm going to record my conversation with doc when i ask him the question during my next ANC visit . |
Chinwendym:Sorry sis,I read back and saw it. It's something they call obo in my villa and they use some leaves oda opuo to bath baby to correct it. My neighbour's daughter had it on the head and face and was treated in hospital with antibiotics. He will be fine. |

enkaydewdrop:I dey kampe. God is keeping us. Na data i no come get. This Buhari administration eeee God pass them ooo. I feel very heavy now, don't know if my Lo don become very fat,i'm only 34 weeks+2days. Yet to go for scan. I don't have strength to push big baby ooo. One day is now like ten days to me. I can't wait for June to come. Meanwhile 24th May is my birthday,May Mum's make una try give me birthday mate ooo. |
A life was lost here and all i can say is let justice be served. |
Welcome home. God be praised. |
My mum is a nurse(retired) and she had never wanted to be a doctor. Fortunately my sister is a nurse and had also never wanted to be a doctor too, just wanted to be like mum. So that assumption is very incorrect. Also i'm proud to say that mum practiced in Nigeria for 35years nicely and didn't maltreat her patients. I still get favours from people because of her actions and hope my sis follows suit. I have met good and bad (or should i say frustrated)nurses and doctors. However,i think to be a health care professional esp in Nigeria is a call to serve,if you enter there because of something else, you will end up being frustrated. The country Nigeria do not value Life and thus do not value the care givers. |
Waooo just finished like 20pages. May God be the strength of every mother here. No matter the challenges,we will overcome IJN. @nwapastor Is ur DH a Christian? I mean;has he given his life to Christ. My dear if the answer is No,that ur first point of prayer. Because only the Holy Spirit can change a man. @maureenslyvia pls let that girl go home to her parents to avoid stories that touch. As for ur DH,his friends are the major problem. I pray God open his eyes to see how those guys will behave if he has a little financial challenge. Has a bit similar challenge too. My own is he doesn't do things according to his pocket, putting one is all kinds of debt. That's a story for another day. Congrats to all vigilante mum's and supernatural delivery to all waddling mum's. Teamjune 'the ministry is moving to permanent site. I have been craving party jollof rice since yesterday. |
@iffffy cute boy u got there @Gaily04 Sweet pose by the latest baby in the house. Love the stretching pix. |
So sorry to hear this @sugah. May Holy Spirit comfort you. |
When the FG decides to take sides. A fatal error of this administration. |
modupeaderonke:Amen thanks dear |
TDstarr:Sure it would be right for your wife or girlfriend to kill you if she suspects or caught you cheating. You can never give life,so why take what you can never give. |
@ Olubankemi congrats dear for the double. I love the combo. @Mitchyy It's well with you. I believe God has it planned. Had similar issues;my organization has been owing me for many months now and DH been struggling to cope with our financial issues. Even when i don't know where the money to complete baby things will come from,i trust God to provide for sure and HE will. |
Thank you all for all the likes and mentions. God is truly amazing. |
Mamas rejoice with me ooo my mate (Bro inlaws wifey) just gave birth to a handsome prince after 5yrs of marriage. God is still in the business of doing miracle. |
