#threadkpekus make sense joor. Don't enjoy doggy too,we can't seem to find the place any time we try. Didn't really kpekus enough;first was doc 30wks embargo,then DH fear it may hurt the baby. Since we resumed it've not been frequent. I must try a new style tonite. You ladies rock.

@enkaydewdrop Sorry abt the VE experience. I kind of understand how u felt. I have this problem of finding it difficult to relax. Once a female doc tried to examine me(ttc days) and complained that I'm frigid. She took time to lecture me ooo. Just simple baby check at ANC ,i always cross my legs till doc reminds me to uncross. Don't know why I act so defensive. But the good news is I'm not afraid of labour one bit. I keep confessing smooth swift labour and delivery and so shall it be for us.

It's a girl..
Started having sudden strong contractions by 9pm last night..7mins apart..
Got to the hospital by 11pm..was 2cm dilated..
Was checked by 12am..was 7cm dilated..
By 12.30am, the baby's head was crowning
And by 12.35am, my little angel came out screaming and hungry..
Which of the favours of your lord will you deny?

June mamas Hw far? I'm just coming from ANC. The good news LO is doing great and I was assured she may not add much as rapid growth time is over. I was attended to by one of the best consultant' s that I've ever met. Over sound dey worry the guy,no wonder people always beg nurses to take their folder to him.


The not so good news;resident doctors are going on strike so man pikin has to go spend extra money for another hospital. For this Buhari era,haba.

The bad news: for the football fans,we lost a legend in Nigerian football today, great Skipper & Coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi,the big boss himself. Makes me so sad.

RIP the big boss. You will always be remembered.

@Bellaella thank God no harm came upon you,may all u lost be restored. Your story reminds me of how my friend and I were robbed in a hospital. All other patients including the nurses were robbed too and no one woke up. I was awake 5mins before the robbery. I'm sure jazz was involved.

Nne no need to worry,relax. A good mother will not even stay for long as she can't wait to go back to her farm,goats and chickens. She knows you need the space so just welcome her with love. Most times we cause problems for ourselves by solving a problem that has not existed.

Abusive and violent people are dangerous,stay off them. That ur friend is wise. If he had gone back home that night, the story would have been different by now.

@Teegali It's like that in UPTH where I use. The only difference is that as your pregnancy progresses,you will be seen by Senior Registras.Those ones are very experienced too and can handle any case. The consultant may see you close to delivery or if you are a delicate case. However most times the consultant is not around. I have only seen a consultant once and that was the day Residents were on strike. And there are 3 consultants in my team. I'm not particular about seeing a consultant in as much as the doctor is experienced and ready to work with me,I'm good to go. Let God direct.

Just to tell you a little story,There was a female doc in that team I never liked because the day she attended to me,she was acting so distracted. And she's single,so I kinda of felt will she really understand this Peggie thing. I was surprised last week when someone told me that she is the best in handling CS cases.

I do wonder why Peace Mass Transit are still on Nigerian road. After my experience of how a PMT driver got stuck with a trailer that broke down at artillery just in front of CIWA in PH,imagine a stationary vehicle with all the signs etc I knew Peace problem is not physical. 80% of the passengers were injured,the two sisters in front and the driver lost their legs as axe was used to separate the bus from the trailer. Well for those who cares to listen,stop patronizing PMT.

@enkaydewdrop This story is so touchy. This lady is passing through hell. I was so upset that I had to read out aloud to DH hearing only for him to ask me if the man is a demon even before I could get to the end of the story. This marriage is not real I must tell you. The man is a serious nut case. I have an uncle like him;Indian hemp,wife beater even in pregnancy,controlling,hatred for the wife's family etc. Only the Holy Spirit can change a man. If they attend church,let her seek support for a place to stay and give birth or through an NGO as some mamas suggested. But she need to move out first and have her baby in peace. After delivery,she can start hustling while praying for him. However going back to her parents is her best bet. She's from a big family and I will be surprised if her siblings,even the steps will not teach that man a lesson if he comes to their house to do funny funny things.
