I guess some men will rather live in a face me I face you than live in a house built by their wife just because of ego. Your wife building a house doesn't mean you are poor. I know a rich man who never built a house any where in Lagos but was paying huge rent (one storey with boys quarters)in Lekki. After begging her husband to stop wasting money to no avail, his wife is now building a house for them without the man's support. Meanwhile this man has building in other parts of the country. His problem is that he 'hates' Lagos. |

God is great |
Truth be told I also suffered on this road. It was a night mare. I remember the day our bus stopped in the middle of the mud. I didn't attend my Uncle's burial in Sept because of the nature of this road as I couldn't imagine traveling on it on Tuesday after plying it on Sunday. Drivers started taking different alternative but longer farm/bush routes. God bless whoever is instrumental to this repair. I want to add that we need security on this road too.People are being kidnapped almost on daily basis esp along the Ubima Rivers axis. They will just surrender a whole public bus and randomly pick people and hold for ransom. Our church member was taken on Sat,was released yesterday after ransom has been paid. |
Happy married life girl. God bless you home. |
Please mamas what doze of vit c can I take a day. I usually take the white one. Have crack on my lips. All my daily doze of orange is not working. |
Going to church is a good thing and your parents mean well. The Church is a place of worship and also of network. Serving God comes with a reward. You must not appear religious to please God,just be dedicated on the little you can do. Having faith is great but Faith without good work is dead. Going to church every Sunday will not take you much. If not for anything do it to maintain peace with your parents even when you don't feel like . Do not be in a hurry to move out. There is nothing wrong with your teaching job though. The Bible advised we should not look down on little beginnings. Continue working hard and developing yourself, you will get a better job. That someone got a good job or is going abroad or got married does not mean he/she serves God more than you. Blessings come to all including atheists sef. Just continue to be faithful to God for who He is,seeking His Kingdom and every other thing shall be added unto you. Your own will come. Happy Easter. |
Congrats @ dexterush and happytemi. Una born same day. God bless ur LOs. |
What the alternative to the seasoning? The local spice does not work for all food. |
Any time such thing happens we only hear comments like ;Its jihad,it's a plan to islamize Nigeria, take up arms and defend yourselves etc. We the South only talk talk without taking actions. Today I saw David Mark complaining on AIT about the Agatu issue and it just struck me that this same man was the senate president for how long but didn't take any action even if it means to lobby for a law to stop this. Then he had the power as the third most powerful man in the country but now no more, all he can do is complain. Opportunity may not come once but opportunities do not last forever. It is time to take action on this Fulani issue. Can IPOB declare a protest of no cattle meat eating in SE for 3months or as long as it takes till Buhari wakes up? At 85% compliance I'm sure the Fulani will run at unimaginable losses. At least no police or army will kill any one for this kind of protest. |
Dangers of work in a Confined space. |
I don't know why I want this woman to go to jail already. Any time I read her story,I feel very sad. She snapped and was lucky (with the first stab)but still took devils second chance, just Imagine. Don't get why the court should permit her face to be hidden. The world need to recognise her and be careful around her in case she's freed. |
Opinedecandid:Was the wish of the people supplanted where they killed the corper? The truth is that people have no value for human life and keep wasting what they cannot create for no reason. And politicians are fueling it while youths are taking sides for what will destroy them. The children of this politician are abroad. When they are in naija security men follow them to toilet sef. No politician ambition worth human life. Do you know that in their swearing in they don't even remember those people who shed their blood during their election. |
onyinyechika08:I think you should ask your doc. Was surprised when this man said I should ask him again at 30weeks. Hubby dey make sacrifice, though we do some play play to make do. |
Congrats sayoddy. God is great. |
ugochiada:You completed 11weeks today. By tomorrow u re 11wks one day. I hope 7th Jan is the first day of the period? |
Had protein one plus in my urine during the last visit. Never knew it's something to worry about. Doc just sent me to do urine mcs. My BP is normal though. No swelling, got slight headache that resolved without para. Is he in line? I miss my old doc. Using the efficient but annoying mosquitos-ridden UPTH. Congrats @sodiamond,I love your bs. I hope to see your baby. |
Tolatutu:My dear that's why I think a means should be devised to stop absondees. They must be forced to pay. I don't support people not paying their debt. No institution can run without money. However no matter how dishonest some persons are,all people are not the same. There was I day I was in a hospital so pressed. When I got to the toilet, they charge N20 and I had no money on me. My bag was in my sister's car and she has gone off to a meeting. My dear I begged the keeper she no gree. She had allowed a lot of people who never returned to pay. Meanwhile she pay for water, tissue etc and make hospital returns. I told her everybody is not the same that I will pay . She later allowed me and I paid her as promised. If I'm the woman this doc saved her life , I will not let my husband sleep till the debt is paid. Debts deprive me peace of mind. Maybe because i know God hates it when you deny a laborer his wages. |
Nelico:Please don't forget there are sincere Nigerians who will sell their things to pay you for helping them. So don't shut ur door. |
beautycrush24:A doc in my villa does this but sincerely it's not fair. It means the assumed rich will be cheated. Not everybody with a big car is rich. One may have rich relatives but the relatives may not be willing to help. |
The only thing I have to say is ,if you feel this is right then go that way but had you ever think there may be an alternative to recover your money instead of going this way. More lives will be lost at your gate and you will fight with your conscience until you kill it. This write up is because you are pained by the death of that woman. In some hospitals they take away the baby to a care room, mother is only allowed to breastfeed at intervals under the watch of security. Father/ family members cannot sight the baby. And everyday the charges increases. This method work in most cases. Some hospitals will ask you to send someone to work in the hospital without pay until the money is complete for the patient to be discharged. Then you forget the emergency does not give signal. Someone may not have cash at hand but is willing to pay(everybody is not the same). There are sincere Nigerians with integrity. So if you do this then you have simply succumbed to PMB saying that Nigerians are criminals. Dr Doc let God guide you in your practice. I pray God to favor your hospital with rich clients who will erase your sorrows of yesterday. |
Good move by the Sokoto state govt. solving problems from grassroots. Training and employing female teachers is a very positive step. |
Waoooo this is awesome. Will call my dad tomorrow. I love spending time with my parents. God pls continue to keep them to see our children as your word promised. |
Hahahahaha ![]() Sorry Op I'm not laughing at you ooo. It's part of the package. Enjoy!!! |
Congrats @ sallylove. God be praised |
People hardly change - Correct People don't change- Incorrect People change all the time. From good to bad and vice versa. Life experiences has its toll. Only The Holy Spirit changes a man completely. People cannot change people that why relationships built on trying to change the other fails. I know a once very angry man. He is a lawyer. He married his first wife ,they didn't last 8months. They were always fighting. He got married to the 2nd,a medical doc after divorcing the first, they lasted one year, had a son and divorced after much beating and fighting. He got no 3 and they fought for 6months and he accepted Christ and changed completely. His marriage is like 20yrs now. Fight and violence no more exist in his home. You can love someone but can't change that person. It's not even allowed to change someone you love because love is a choice of acceptance. |
Guyman02:If you check with therapist you will get one. I did not attend the class just downloaded the manual online ,started reading and practicing. Also bought a book 'Forgetting your past' by Bob gas and Joel Osteen 'Everyday a Friday' |
She is like this because of the hurt, pain and sorrow of yesteryears. This is not her original nature. It happened to me so I'm speaking from experience. I struggled with it like 3yrs. Since you love her, you can help her overcome this. Enrol her in anger management class. |
mompurity2:Thanks |
This is a usually experience for firstborn children. I had mine too. When it's time to resume school others will be attended to first before me. I was never angry about it. Maybe because of the way my mum always try to make it up to me. Up till now she still talk about the child that ate Palm kernel with her. And it gave me a lot of respect among my younger ones. Firstborns make a lot of sacrifices, case abound of those who did not go to Uni or have to drop out of school for their younger ones. So dear let the anger go. I'm sure your parents loved you too. You have a great life ahead. Pls remember ur experience while raising ur kids. |
mompurity2:Abeg where you do am? |
