[Pay close attention to number 3 of "who can be exempted from study fees upon request" and explore that with your program coordinator. Cheers mate.
OK I just want to clarify something about Hohenheim, I have spoken to about 2 of their students one of which is currently the vice president of Nigerian scholars in Germany (Baden Württemberg chapter)
And he specifically said that Hohenheim was particular about the course that allows tuition waiver for students of ACP-LCP states and that course alone is Msc AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS (AgEcons) that all other courses you are expected to pay for 1,500 euros tution fee each semester. I doubted him and I wanted to be more sure of what I was doing so I sent a mail to a course coordinator there comparing two courses Agricultural economics and environmental protection and food production and asked her if both are tuition free Then she also told me the same thing my friend told me.
This story this just to let us know that the faq's on their page "who can be exempted from study fees upon request" does not cover all courses except agricultural economics because the state (Baden Württemberg and DAAD views the course as a development course online with the sustainable development goals
Well in all we can still go ahead and send mails to them to be more clarified
Somberyl: I'm still waiting for AL after completing more than 8 applications before Easter. I guess it's because I applied to NC courses. Please Biochemistry people how are you people doing it? It seems most of the related courses are restricted. Has anyone come across any "open" biology/nature or health related MSc courses? Except Biological Resources in Rhine. I don't mind putting in one more application... Thank you.
Well since all the courses you applied for are all NC courses I think you should exercise a little patience because NC courses don't give AL until weeks after the deadline has passed... You can also mail the course coordinator if you want to be clarified..

Godstrump: I don't whether its ignorance or just pure stupidity Just because he rides a bike does not mean he's not a student Don't be daft!!! That guy graduated last year So if u don't know shit ask questions
Georgekyrian: I swear Bro.. presents MOUAU security na 100% scam, only chasing bike men
Dir. Of Socials that year I sight you oh....
Mouau is now sitting on a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. If the security challenges are not curbed soonest things will get worse than they already are.
Anyway it's best to be safe than sorry... Mouau is not worth someone putting his life on the line.
chicoMX: The said lodge is just opposite to mine, the dead body found was that of an okada rider and not a student.
No this guy finished last year my set to be precise we were meant to go for service together he's a MOUAU/13 In AGRONOMY department, we also did practical year together. If you want I can drop photos for you...
Just to clear the air, I don't know whether to call it a cult war or anything but this guy is my classmate and he after we graduated last year decided to stay back in school to hustle to get little funds to support himself and his mother and siblings before NYSC call up. Some weeks ago he bought a motorbike. On Thursday night he was attacked and a guy (or group of guys I don't know) and were struggling with this guy to collect his bike after which they shot him and still collected the bike.... All on all Rest in peace Wary, God bless you. : :-
Before sharing this transcript, I would like to appeal to all of you. 1. Make sure you are close to German embassy a day before the interview date, Lagos always have traffic which might delay you and when you arrive late, you will not be allowed to enter for your interview. 2. If you are a JJC in Lagos like me, make sure you ask for directions very well or go with the person you are staying with so that you won't waste time unnecessarily on the road. 3. Ask questions when you are confused on the bus to take, lagosians are always willing to direct you. 4. A day before your interview date, check your documents properly and make sure its complete... Each document should have two copies each and also hold #30,500, otherwise you will be bounced. 5. When Paulinus will be checking your documents, mind your business and don't try to assist other people that will be confused behind you, I nearly got bounced because of that.
I left by 4:30am and arrived by 7:10am few minutes before Paulinus stopped admitting those for 7am.
Back to the interview section. I arrived around 7:10am after almost crying on the road due to traffic and even paying for drop from Obalande. On getting to the embassy, I saw the man Paulinus shouting here and there and sending some people back at the back for being unorganized as he used to say. VO: What's your name? VO: Why are you going to Germany? VO: Why this course? VO: Why Germany? VO: Why not English speaking countries? VO: Why not Nigeria? VO: Tell me about the city your school is located and everything you know about Germany. As I was still on it, he was typing some stuffs and at a point asked me to stop VO: What do you intend to do after your studies? Goztino: I want to come back to Nigeria and use the practical experience I will acquire in Germany to establish my own Geoscience firm here and become a Geoscience consultant. VO: Don't you want to work in Oil and gas companies? Goztino: I would start my own firm and employ other graduates in other to help towards the industrialization and creation of employment in my country, Nigeria. VO: Why not start the firm now and employ the graduates now? Goztino: I would have loved to but I don't have enough practical skills and experience yet VO: Alright, that will be all. Do you have any question for me? Goztino: No sir.
lovable85: Booked category A masters in computer science I got to the embassy at 6:10 Paulinus started arranging us at 6:30 am I saw paulinus in his full glory today If you don’t do what he says he ll take pleasure in finishing you When he started asking us to arrange our documents He ask for one original and two photocopy He sent a guy to the back of the line because he wasn’t doing things at his pace MAKE SURE YOU PRINT THE ENGLISH AND GERMAN COPY OF YOUR ADMISSION LETTER AND MAKE TWO PHOTOCOPIES We were then ushered in around after 7 Main interview started at 8 Name of school? Name of course? Have you funded ? Why this course? Why Germany ? Why germany and not US, Canada or Uk? Five facts of Germany? Bachelor thesis? She asked me to explain what my project was all about Then she asked if I have any question I said some of my friends are confused about the booking system She said she doesn’t know anything about it And she said she only checks the admission letter and is those at the gate that checks the booking letter
I also noticed there is a list of those scheduled for interview with just your name, email address, phone number and passport number There was nothing like category on the list paulinus had
Congratulations in no distant time we will hear the news of your AM and VISA testimony
sahm4u2nv: Please help my lil brother, below is his profile
WAEC:
COMMERCE- C6
GOVERNMENT: C4
ENGLISH:C6
MTS:C6
AGRIC: C4
BIO:D7
ECONOMICS: D7
YOR: D7
DEGREE COURSE IS: POLITICAL SCIENCE
NAIJA CGPA: 2.56 = 2.8 GERMAN GRADE
Please I'm finding it hard for him to get course he can apply to most msc require 2.7 minimum grade and most BSc require GERMAN knowledge.
All his documents are ready, but he doesn't want to write English Test because of no or Lil cash.
Please I need suggestions on SCHOOLS and courses of any kind he can apply to.
Thanks in advance and God bless you all
To be realistic the only option your brother has now is too apply for a BSc program, and they are Bsc programs that are offered in English I think what your brother needs to do is to calm down and google list of universities in Germany then go through their website one after the other it's a long process but I'm sure he will very much likely get one or two universities he can apply to..
2. Whether he likes it or not he still has to learn the language and one thing we have come to realize is that it is cheaper to learn it here and it will save you a great deal of stress
3. Looking at the already limited options we have. I think it is safe to say the best move your brother has now is to write the English test. If he finally finds a school and it is compulsory that he must write it what will he now do? So I know the economic state of the country is not easy on some persons but if he can hustle and save up let him do so
4. I can't suggest schools because you didn't even indicate what his interest is but use Google, daad and undergraduate study portal you will see variety
Investmentcoach: Hello guys, pls I need your candid advice. I just want to start the application process, do you think i can still meet up. Because most of the universities has June 15 as deadline. Thanks
If the schools you want to start your applying to require uni_assist go ahead as long as your documents get to uni-assist before the deadline you're safe. The downside is that it takes 4-6 weeks to get your valuation report from them. Do you think with the time frame left you will still meet up with the visa processes for this winter?
AVO19: Hello, my name is Ayodeji. I got an MBA admission to cologne business school, and they offered me a 3000euro scholarship, please do I qualify to apply for category A student visa?
Yes sir you fall under category A you're more than qualified sef
You didn't add Ajegunle, Boundary, Apapa and environs... Those places ehn are more than dirty I wonder how people residing in those areas cope with the filth
Please how do i book a visa appointment at the German consulate? I just found out that they’ve changed it and I just got my admission letter for a bachelor program?
ladyb4sure: Please guys, which master course can someone who have Bachelor in English Education go for? Asking for my baby sister. And also, can 3.11 CGPA qualify her for daad scholarship?
She is planning towards Summer or Winter.
There is no harm in trying tell your sister to beef up her skills go to vocational school learn one or two and add to her CV there's no harm in trying let her apply she may get it in this German hustle never say never...
mic01: my undergraduate course is political science. I am actually looking at masters in either political science, international relations, public policy or admin or any related course
Ahn Ahn Boss courses full ground na, as some persons adviced here don't totally rule out uni-assist schools.. Use the appropriate portals you will surely get one and mind you some schools deadline have not yet reached even if you miss out this winter, there's still summer so there's time to make necessary research

Superb25: Evening guys. Pls am new to this platform I have a question and I feel here is where I will find my ans. I want to apply for DAAD scholarship. Has anyone ever gotten the scholarship here pls
Yes, there are people here who have gotten daad scholarship. But before you apply ensure you have the at least 2 years professional work experience, it is an important criterion
I live in Abuja. Appointments in Abuja are very limited and subject to availability. --- (I actually live in Lagos, but can travel to Abuja if required)
I have a scholarship of a German organisation. --- (I don't have scholarship of a German Organisation, I only have a discounted fee from my school, and it was also called scholarship)
If you live in Lagos, why not do the interview in Lagos, well its up to you oh. I don't know but you can mail them sha explaining why you want to have your interview ]n Abuja, also if the address in your admission letter bears Abuja then you are likely to have your interview in Abuja.
You have a partial scholarship na, so you can actually tick the scholarship option and go along with the proof too
Tommynaku: Good morning to you all. Please concerning the use of Form A that was raised yesterday, I travelled to Bayelsa and made enquiries from Zenith bank and was told the CBN rate using form A is 342.3581 per Euro.
Please can someone also confirm from any zenith bank or other banks. The different will go along way to reduce cost(403 - 343) = 60*8,640 = NGN 518,400. i.e 1,286 Euros
I strongly belive we can fund our BA using Form A since its not peak period. All we need to do is find out the avereage processing time with CBN and check if ok with your TIME. Max of 2weeks should be enough to get this done(which is worth it)
Lets hear your findings.....
God bless you boss you for your efforts you too much..
This discovery will not only save people's money but also help us make better decisions please I have a question did they mention anything concerning bank charges?
