Hi Everyone, good morning.

To gurus in the house, I need your advise the below issues.

1. I have gotten my masters admission from Kiel University (Quantitative Finance, to resume 1st of October 2019) but I'm currently trying to raise the blocked account money of 8867 Euro as quick as possible. Pending when I fully raise the money, do you advise I go ahead submitting my visa application now due to how long the process, then before my interview date would have paid the blocked account money? Are there any negative implications to doing this?

2. What blocked account company is best to use, Coracle or Fintiba, bearing in mind that Coracle gives free travel insurance, do not request for health insurance payment till you get to Germany and do not deduct any monthly charges.

3. What is the best travel insurance you advise I utilize?

4. Trust I can obtain a birth certification from Lagos High court.

5. What's the best time to send in your student visa application? and which is the surest application route on going it?

6. When is the best time to apply for accommodation?
Let me try and answer your questions, I stand to be corrected on places where i don't have an idea
1. You can go ahead apply for visa appointment even when you don't have the complete blocked funds usually people fund the week to their interview date, but others fund some weeks after their visa appointment there's no specific way you can do whichever you feel will be most convenient for you.

2. Both coracle and fintiba are good, the both are recognized and approved by the German consulate so there's nothing to worry about, personally I want to use coracle. Most people go for fintiba because other naija people have tried it and that's what they are using grin Coracle is still trying to gain popularity amongst Nigerian students although it's very very popular in India and other regions
so I guess by next year it will be widely used by Nigeria (my view oh)

3. AXA mansard is good I don't know of any others sha but you can keep asking from other people

4. I thought birth certificate is issued by National Population commission huh

5 I don't understand this question but if you're asking which is sure between category A or B.. Please don't stress yourself use A

6. After your visa interview start hustling that one by making contacts after all you don't make payments for any room till you reach Germany so las las nobody lose

These are my opinions oh if anyone has other contributions they are welcome too

Oh, thought I'm alone. Will study hard and do the test, and send to them, so I can rest jare. Maybe you should do same so as to have better chance in other applications. It will end in Praise in Jesus name
Amen, honestly this is the best advice to give, since they have given you a chance of 2 weeks to take the test the best thing is to take the test rather than relax after the result comes out in 10 days. You guys are lucky other schools may not even ask you to take test sef they will even reject your application outright grin grin.
God is with you it will end in praise

pls me I need suggestions o...I know about daad and I explore it, if you have other means ,kindly help out
Try using Google, and try to be specific about what you want
That's because some schools are not hosted on daad.de website like my first choice course is not on daad even after searching tirelessly till I tried other options
For example
(MSc agricultural and bioresource engineering + Germany + scholarship/tuition free)
You will see schools doing something related to it and also in English language

I hope it helps

good evening guys, please which Nigerian bank is the best for uni-assist payment and how much is their service charge?
i need answers urgently. thanks great people
You know Nigerian banks and hidden charges are like 5 & 6 so I don't think one knows the exact amount a particular bank charges for international transfers but to make things easier for you if you have any Nigerian in Germany that is your friend you can ask the person to pay on your behalf while you credit his naira account here.

Please, I want to know how the Agricultural Space in Germany looks like. I will like to pursue my MSc in the field of Agriculture.

Is it something that is feasible? I read everyone pointing on ICT/IMT. But, we know our strength and weakness. Is there job availability for that field? Which city would you recommend?

NB: Please, Gurus in the house should throw more hints on the above.

Thank you in Anticipation.

Danke grin wink smiley
Just like someone said previously "Study whatever you choose really well and also as many employable skills as possible."

I think this is the main thing to me as no course is the ultimate or an island... If no one studies Agriculture who then will fill in the jobs that require Agricultural certification??

Anyway gurus in the house please enlighten us oh abeg cos me sef follow study Agriculture grin grin grin

I want to send two different application to Germany, , one to uniassist and the other to Jena through DHL, guys is there any way this would reduce the total cost through DHL or they are just going to bill me for the two separately.
Team up with someone who is also with in your location or the state where you stay who also wishes to send to uni-assist to reduce cost, for that of Jena you may send that one on your own if you don't see anybody to pair with...

But I advice if there are other courier services around you like fedex or TNT use them instead of DHL... DHL charges are on for high side compared to other courier services....

I need assistance. I saw somebody already in Chemnitz writing that they don't require German lang proficiency, pls I need clarification with regard to the image below. Is it still advisable that I go ahead with the application since I don't understand German language nor have the qualification. Is it something they overlook, I don't want to waste my money sending focs
If I'm not mistaken I think what this image simply means is that classroom language and language of instruction is ENGLISH but communication outside the classroom or within the University is in German.. So they expect you to have knowledge of basic German (A1 it A2) or highest cut-and-join German till you can fully communicate with it to an extent...

I applied to Universitat Wurzburg and TU Dresden Zittau on 9th May, by sending my documents through post as the schools required. A friend of mine in Germany did the posting for me as he took my documents with him while traveling back to Germany. It is over 9 days my friend posted my documents to these schools but i have not gotten any acknowledgment from them that they have received my documents.
If the documents have reached the schools but they have not acknowledged I think the wisest thing to do to clear your doubt is to send them a mail to know what's up The course coordinator(s) would reply asap and tell you if they have or haven't...

I studied animal science with second class upper grade.
which german university that do offer scholarship to African
students or schools with low tuition fee i can do my masters in
Agricultural science
i have 400k in my savings,i'm 24.done with nysc
There are a lot of schools that offer agricultural courses, but most of them that don't use uni-assist their deadline have passed for example Göttingen, Kassel, Bonn and Hohenheim, but if you hurry you can still meet up with schools like HU BERLIN their deadline is July 15th but they use uni-assist and I don't think DAAD scholarship is necessary if your interest is on a free tuition school (I stand to be corrected on this one though)

You can start making plans now against next summer or winter, there are lots of information about courses
use daad.de or google..

I also studied a B.Agric course (Agricultural economics) but i'm not applying this winter because I never finish NYSC na next year...

Good evening guys. Please, if I am applying to 5 schools through uni assist, do I need to write 5 motivation letters?
Yes if the courses are different then you have to write 5 separate ones tailored for each school and each course if possible
But if it's the same course but different schools one letter can serve for all of them...

I'm in search of a scholarship to Germany that wouldn't require to write neither GRE and TOFEL/IELTS?
I need advice on this!
It's urgent
In my own opinion I would say you're in a way limiting yourself and the number of schools you can apply to. It's better to take the test either IELTS or TOEFL which ever you prefer, though some schools (the number of them are reducing) accept English Proficiency letter they may later require you to upload a test score so what's the need going round and round. If you're are in a hurry and want to meet up with 2019 winter you can take the test this month and get the result by June the result comes out ±13 days

In all Oga take the test to increase the number of schools you can apply to

This is just my view. Anyone can still contribute

I have an issue and it is weighing me down per second Please if any has an idea or useful suggestion they are all welcome. My school (MOUAU) delays issuance of original certificate until about 2 years after graduation, what they give out easily is statement of result. Please can I send the verified statement of result to uni-assist? Would it be accepted? I just want to be sure to avoid wasting money and future heartbreak.

I have mailed the schools whose applications are done though post and online portal, they confirmed that transcript and statement of result can be used if BSc certificate is not readily available the issue now is uni-assist.

Please any ideas how I can go about it

Still waiting on reply on this guys.
In my opinion I would say you should keep an open mind and pray about it. You have done your part by forwarding the affidavit alongside the certificate, all you just need to do now is wait if luck is on your side and the school wants to help you they might ask for further verification such as uploading or forwarding a copy of your original birth certificate. In all failing is not the issue the issue is not attempting at all due to fear...

Keep faith
