How many years is your program? How much is your tuition fees for a year? Are you self sponsored or you have a sponsor? How many months bank statement did you submit and how is the inflow/outflow? Regular or one off? tosynn007: Hello guys, my study permit application just got refused due to:
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
How do I tackle it?
Paid my first term tuition fee and also submitted a high transacting bank statement with a transaction history of over 100m and a closing balance of 9.5m.
Also, I'm 25 years of age and presently working. I really don't understand what they meant by refusing me on personal asset?
I submitted my dad c of o which is quite worth a lot.
How do I tackle this? |

Bro you should be popping champagne. BF means bonafide. Having considered your LOA, POF and other documents you appear BF. Have you done ur medicals? If No, then that's the only prerequites remaining to obtain ur PPR. If yes, then PPR is on the way chuksinfotech: Please has any of you come across this challenge? My GCMS notes just came in and the pre-assessment reads thus:
"Based on the LOA, funds, and documents provided, PA appears to be a BF student."
What does BF mean?
And what do you think needs to be done ?
For context I am a second time applicant, reapplied on 30 October, 2021 |

ShowYoung: Getting PR is not always all about getting a job, this is why I asked if you know anything about MPNP, RNIMP and the program that New Brunswick requires you to do and apply for PNP in your final semester which is 6 months before graduation if you are studying in one year course?
Are you aware of AINP?
People that get problem are the ones who say, "I want to live in Ontario or BC", if you don't care and ready to live in any province or territory to get a PR, I am sure you don't have to tie your PR to jobs. Many PNPs are calling graduates if you care to know.
I also weigh in worst case scenario: I asked if you're aware of 1+1 course strategy. Show young you sound very enlightened about the subject. If one does 1year course at a college in a province and another 1year course at another college in another province. Based on 1+1, will he/she be qualified for 2 or 3 years PGWP irrespective of studying in different provinces provinces |

17 weeks on the dot.
In January I sent a lot of emails and like three webforms. All I got was generic responses. I needed a decision because the last day to pay my 1st term fees or withdraw and be eligible for full refund (excluding deposit of $1000) was on the 28th. My program doesn't do deferral but they said they could assure us of a readmission for fall term, we would only have to pay the application fee of $100 but we won't have to pay a deposit of $1000 again because it would be moved to fall. Like 4 of my course mates (1 Nigerian and 3 Indians) too this offer and withdraw and I was tempted to take this offer too; but my sister (my sponsor) said no, I should have faith (funny thing she is not a believer of faith, and she is very logical and basis her decisions on concrete facts and not hope). I paid my fees on the last day (I sent the fee receipt payment through a webform) and continued with the program online. Everyone was online including domestic students because of the Omicron variant. But they resumed in-person/hybrid 2 weeks ago. And believe me, I thought online classes was bad, but hybrid is way worse. I didn't send any emails or webforms after January and I even applied for a remote job for a US company to keep me distracted (I got the job too, and resumed this week). I later decided to order for my gcms notes on the 4th of March, though I don't think it caused my decision to arrive 2 weeks after. I got my PPR without them even asking me for an updated LOA to ensure I was still enrolled.
My background Bsc in Architecture from University of Nigeria (UNN) Program in Canada: Masters in Digital Media from Ryerson University (I explained I was focusing on Virtual and Augmented Reality in my sop, I will post my sop draft here for anyone who needs inspiration. Please inspiration, do not copy exactly) 3+ year work experience in architecture and construction (was never a full time worker, only during nysc, was always an independent contracted designer, submitted my last contract).

My question
When I use flywire payment reference to process form A, will I be debited at flywire rate or form A rate?
