I don't know why some Nigerians like doing things illegally they don't care what their actions might cost others, this is the same mentality some of our political leaders have and this is a pointer to the fact our leaders are products of our societies. Nigeria shall be set free. |
Even the educated ones couldn't comprehend a simple post I weep for these sets of educated illiterates. |
Truth234:Your argument is superior to mine hence I'm inclined to agree with it because your knowledge of this sector streets ahead of what I know. I pray for the apex bank to do the needful not the other way round, but in Nigeria things will be done without putting many factors into consideration. |
It makes absolute sense for CBN to maintain the status quo since there's uncertainty in the international market due to the upcoming election in UK, Trump's presidency, and OPEC proposed meeting and lastly illiquiduity in FX. |
Ziyaad ibn Kusaib al-Adawiyy said, “I was with Aboo Bakrah beneath the minbar (pulpit) of Ibn Aamir. He was giving a speech and was wearing a fine garment. So Aboo Bilaal said, ‘Look at our ameer wearing the garment of the disobedient.’ Then Aboo Bakrah said, “Be silent. I heard the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ say, ‘Whoever demeans the sultaan (ruler) of Allaah upon the earth Allaah will humiliate him.” [Sunan of at-Tirmidhee, no. 2225, Usool us Sunnah of Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Translated by Abu Iyaad] |
Isn't this partly due to the global fall of the dollar due to uncertainty in Trump's administration? |

These same set of oafs will call others who don't want to traffic drugs lazy bums, it's good to be ambitious but that mustn't lead a person to be involved in slanging drugs and use spare parts business as cover. We are all victims and we must rise to condemn this act in totality without ascribing it to any tribe. |
There is no genetic link with behavioural patterns of an ethnic group some of the behaviors are influenced by environments and circumstances found therein. It is often said that Ebira people are aggressive but each time I tell people I'm an Ebira they'd be stunned because I do not exhibit such traits my people are stereotyped with. |
A genocide that stunned Rwanda in 1994 was a turning point for the country's Muslim community, which led to the expansion of Islam in the East African nation, Vice-Mufti Sheikh Salih Nshimiyimana said. The Rwandan Muslims had welcomed and protected the minority Tutsi and the peaceful people belonging to Hutu ethnic majority, who had taken refuge with them during the genocide. The genocide, in which nearly one million people were killed, took place between hardliner Hutus and minority Tutsis after the death of Rwandan President Juvenal Habyarimana in a plane crash. The Hutus accused the Tutsis of assassinating the president that led to an organized violence against the minority group across the country that lasted for about 100 days. "I praise Allah for the behavior adopted by the Muslims during the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsis in 1994. The Muslims protected all these people without any religious distinction. It was not easy," he said. "In accordance with the Quran’s teachings, Muslims helped all their brothers and victims of the genocide," said Nshimiyimana. He recalled that during the pre-genocide period, Muslims were deprived of many of their rights. Muslims represent 10 percent of the Rwanda’s 11.6 million population. "After the genocide, Allah gave us a good leader [President Paul Kagame] … and today we have the same rights as other Rwandan citizens and we can visit our mosques in serenity,” he said. Nshimiyimana said that conversions to Islam increased exponentially after the genocide. "They realized that the truth resided in the essence of the guidelines of Islam,” he said. The vice-mufti also noted that the Rwandan Muslims expect the support of Turkey and other Muslim countries. "Turkey is a great country, a major country and has a special place in the history of Islam. Turkish Muslims can support their brothers here, especially in the field of education, the construction of new mosques and many more, "he added. "We want to see better relations between Rwanda and Turkey. Our Turkish brothers help us during the month of Ramadan and during the feast of sacrifice. We pray that Allah protect Turkey because if it [Turkey] faces difficulties, it will have an impact on the entire Muslim world." Nshimiyimana mentioned that the country has about 500 mosques currently, which he said, is insufficient to meet the need. http://aa.com.tr/en/africa/genocide-changed-destiny-of-rwandan-muslims-vice-mufti/819283 |

https://www.sayingsofthesalaf.net/the-salaf-and-the-quran-in-ramadan/ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Salaf and the Quran in Ramadan It is reported that Al-Aswad [b. Yazîd Al-Nakha’î] used to complete the recitation of the Quran in Ramadan every two nights; sleeping between al-maghrib and al-‘ishâ. Outside of Ramadân, he used to complete a recitation every six nights. Abû Nu’aym, Hilyatu Al-Awliyâ` 1:250. It is related from Al-Rabî’ b. Sulaymân, “Muhammad b. Idrîs Al-Shâfi’î used to complete reciting the Quran in the month of Ramadan sixty times, all in the prayer.” Ibid. 4:107 It is reported that Abul-Ash-hab said, “Abû Al-Rajâ` [Al-Atârudî] would complete with us a recitation of the Quran in the night prayers of Ramadan every ten days.” Ibid. 1:348 It is reported that Qatâdah used to complete a recitation of the Quran once every seven nights, and when Ramadan came, once every three nights. During the last ten nights, he would complete a recitation every night. Ibid. 1:364 It is reported that Al-Bukhârî used to complete a recitation [of the Quran] once a day in Ramadan, and would pray after Tarâwîh every night, completing another recitation every three nights. Al-Dhahabî, Siyar A’lâm Al-Nubalâ` 12:439 Notes After mentioning some similar examples from the Salaf, Ibn Rajab says in Latâ`if Al-Ma’ârif p319: The prohibition of reciting the Quran in less than three days [found in some ahadith] refers to doing so regularly [throughout the year]. As for virtuous times, like Ramadan – especially the nights in which it is hoped Laylatu Al-Qadr will occur – or virtuous places, like Makkah – for those who enter it and are not residents there, then it is recommended to increase in reciting the Quran, making the most of the time and the place. This is the position of [Imam] Ahmad, Ishâq [ibn Râhûyah] and other Imams, and the practice of others [from the Salaf] indicates [they held the same position]. |

AfroSamurai:Some of you retards from whichever region you came from will come online to spew rubbish and insult others as if you're better than them by any stretch. Nigeria as a whole is a poor nation deny this fact at your own peril, the issue of North been poor is not different that of South. How many Nigerians can feed comfortably three times daily on the average? How many Nigerians have good access to quality education and health system? How many Nigerians have access to pipe borne water, how many Nigerians have access to good roads and live in a serene environment? How many Nigerians have good paying jobs, how many Nigerians have good judicial system? Nigeria is almost a failed state due to the failure of its leaders to build a viable country and the followers inability to reason beyond parochial sentiments. As for religion no matter how you try to paint Islam in bad light the truth shall always prevail. cc: Vedaxcool, FriendNG |

The love of illegal business by some Nigerians is sending them to their graves both home and abroad. From 419, drug trafficking, money laundering, prostitution, miracle peddling mallams and pastors, advance fee fraud to name them but a few you will find Nigerians involved in all these crimes. |
delishpot:If an adult acts stupid on an anonymous forum it's the right of a kid to call him out for his stupidity. His comment comes off as offensive and demeaning so I had to call him out for his words. |
If educated ones are into fraudulent businesses I Wonder what they'd have become without education. Illiteracy is not the problem but lack of good conscience is. |

JUDGE DISPUTES JUSTLY. . You'll be surprised that you may unexpectedly receive emergency guests very early one morning. A couple would be on your doorstep saying: "Ustadh come and judge this matter o, alfa wetin Allah talk for this kind case .............. It has happened to me severally and I believe it happens to some other brothers too. To be on a safer side, refer them to more learned persons or even a scholar, but if there is no way out, then you have to give them a sincere naseehah, judging disputes is not for every khaleed and jaabir. . People do say: "No be who first go call police dey win case" Even in islam, the first person to report should not automatically be favoured over the other, rather both parties should be listened to, before advising them. Many couples of these days are chronic liars, a couple would narrate their case before you, yet you won't even know what to say because you don't know who is lying and who is telling the truth. . Ikrimah radiAllahu anhu said, Rifaa divorced his wife (irrevocably) then abdurahman bin zubayr married her. Aisha radiAllahu anha said that the lady came one day, wearing a green veil and complained to her (aisha) of her husband and showed her a reddish mark on her skin caused by beating. It was the habit of women to support eachother, so when the prophet came, aisha said: I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women, look, her skin is even more grey than her veil. When abdurahman heard that his wife had gone to the prophet, he came with his two sons he had from another wife. The woman said, wallahi, I have done no wrong to him rather he is impotent and he is as useless to me as this (she held the edge of her garment). Abdurahman said, wallahi ya rasulullah, she has told a lie, I am very strong and I can satisfy her (in bed) but she is disobedient and wants to go back to rifaa (her previous husband). The prophet salallahu alayhi wassalam said: If that is your intention, then know that it is haram for you to remarry rifaa unless abdurahman has had intimacy with you. Then the prophet saw the two boys with abdurahman and asked, Are these your sons? Abdurahman said, yes The prophet said, You claim that he is impotent when he already has kids? Wallahi, these boys resemble him just as a crow resembles a crow (Saheeh bukhari 5825, muslim bk 77, hadith 42) . So in marital cases, any of the spouses can lie for africa, just to win the case, don't be deceived by crocodile tears or eloquence. Do not be overwhelmed by emotions or soft words else you will favour the wrong person. . Imam shabi said, One day, I was with imam shuraih (the judge of the city), when a woman came crying seriously and complaining of her husband until her niqab became wet with tears. I said, this woman must have been really oppressed! Imam shuraih said, why do you conclude as such? I said, because of her abundant tears. Imam shuraih said, Do not pass a judgement until a matter becomes "clear" to you, verily in the Quran, the brothers of prophet yusuf came back home crying to their father(yakub), whereas they were actually the wrongdoers who had thrown yusuf into the well. (Gems and jewels pg 86) . So do not judge a case till you hear from both parties and do not be deceived by tears, demonstration or eloquence, for they are not signs of victory. Eloquence is sometimes deceitful, an eloquent speech can make a lie resemble truth and make truth resemble a lie. The prophet sallalahu alayhi wassalam said: Verily, some eloquent speeches have effects like sihr (magic) (Sahih bukhari v7, b71 n662) . So do not go around looking for fights or disputes to settle, its a position whose amaanah is great, you should avoid it but if you have no way out, then give a naseeha and leave the matter for the arbitrators to settle! Being a marriage counsellor is not the 6th pillar of islam. |
