Cho Cho Cho....
Bighead You? Lol. I won't give you the attention you desperately seek. You woke up at 5.18am Nigerian time to type this shows you're either jobless or unstable. I mean with over 26,000 comments on Nairaland and I'm the one to shut up? I dare you to respond and I'll dig up your shit in emails, lol. I've been on this platform for a long long time but deactivated circa 2017. Don't push me. |

Jman06: See a nitwit referring to someone far better than her as "frustrated". Nairaland is truly a leveler! Thinking you're far better than me is hilarious, isn't it? You're on a faceless forum but you've concluded you're better than me based on what? You're right. Nairaland is such a leveler is why I have quit engaging with airheads like you because when it was raining brains, you clearly had an umbrella. |

Jman06: Speak for yourself and stop dragging all African women into your delusion. Many of those our mothers you write about are/were happily married and couldn't wish for any other thing from the peaceful homes and lovely children they were able to raise. My mom for instance got married at 15, had all of us and my dad was able to train all of us up to the university level. Just about the time they were to start enjoying the fruit of their labor, my dad died leaving only mom to enjoy. Today, she goes from one location to another and enjoy the fruits of her labor. I'm very sure she doesn't regret marrying at the time she did. What are you saying? Did you see the comment I replied to? You're the one who is clearly delusional because you're not a woman but you think you can speak for women. Your mom got married at 15, that is your problem. You can marry your daughters off at 15, and you can take a 15 year old child as a wife too. Your mom was still a child at 15, didn't she have dreams of her own? Lol. And if you knew how to read, you'd have understood what I meant, instead of looking for who to transfer your frustration to. But I'll let you wallow in your bubble. |

Jman06: Well, like I previously stated, I don't expect you to understand my point because as a feminist (pseudo feminist), you have conditioned your mind to argue selfishly once the argument is about the two genders. Yeah. Color me surprised. A woman argues or speaks up for herself and others and she's automatically tagged a feminist. Lol |

Adakintroy: Downside to upside of women liberation.
To think you come to this world to work and build careers is one of the most sickening forms of orientation to impose on the human mind.
Men can easily break pass it. but once it set in for women it's hard for them to emerge out of it. It's because we're wiser and we know that we cannot be fully dependent on the examples of husbands and fathers we see today (examples are on Nairaland). We want our own bag, not having to depend on people who will use it as a means of abuse. We know that society isn't as kind to us as it is to men; even a failed marriage or the inability to bear offspring is blamed on us women. Lastly, the idea of marriage in Africa have little to no benefits for women, except the man they married is progressive. Marriage has been known to truncate our dreams, so no. We're only doing it when we're ready to, and because we want to, not because the society insists that we must. We saw the way our mothers and grandmothers were treated, not being able to speak up, and the pretense of being happily married, so we decided otherwise.

So you have never been rude and insultive to anyone all your life ? so if you are rude and insultive to anyone in the future and they come to slaughter you in your room, they are justify and we should wish you a safe journey to hell?
As you preach so shall you and your household become. Don't mind the barbaric human being. Wait until he's flagged. He probably knows her killers or he did it. I hope her soul finds rest. |

Achoghim: He's making a postulation just as every seasoned investigator would do at the onset of a criminal investigation. First you have to theorize about different scenarios, then you work on proving them by collecting evidence and witness testimony(ies). The person you quote isn't making an excuse for the killer, rather he's painting a picture what could have led to the crime. Let's stop being emotional on every issue Yen yen yen yen yen. Postulations but he's pushing one narrative. Is he the police? And perhaps because she was rude to someone, she deserved to die? The majority of you on this forum don't have sense. I wonder if some of you have mothers or sisters to wish this much evil on others. |

who is emotional now? what i am telling you, is dat the UK and America are fast losing their influence in the world. they don't control much any more. they cant stop the Palestinian state. afterall they voted against its observer status, and still failed @bolded, yes, I agree. It's a balance of power. But they still have a lot of control though in other parts of the world. |

Won't happen lol. And if it does, which is very unlikely, they'd end up like Taiwan with no recognition as a sovereign state by the US& the UK. Double standards if you ask me. It's the same way Turkey's accession to the EU won't happen. It's a play of giants 😊 |
Nairaland General › Re: Is This Sitting Position Feminine by Anashe: 1:24pm On Feb 02, 2024 |
Psoul: In African tradition, it is unacceptable for a woman to cross her legs that way while sitting. Some believed that it brings bad luck too women. Some see a woman sitting that way as a wayward woman and the one that lacks respect.
Women are expected to bring their legs together (not cruising it) while in sitting position. Closing their legs together to avoid exposing their laps and eventually their privates.
Modern women started wearing hot mini which makes it difficult for them too sit down without exposing their privates. They now borrowed that men's sitting position to help them lock up their privates even as their laps are totally revealed.
I don't know who is turning the narration to relate the sitting position at feminine or for a guy as a gay.
To me, that position exudes power and confidence. It's purely masculine. It's also sitting position for tall ppl with long legs especially when sitting on a relatively low seats. That sitting position makes them feel more comfortable and look decent than sitting and throwing long legs apart which makes them look somehow awkward. Lol. They will soon tell us how to breathe. |
