There have been numerous complaints about anti-women, anti-feminist and misogynistic content on Nairaland, especially in this section.

This is not unrelated to the rising popularity of people like Sola, who are trying to fight back against the perceived excesses of woke western feminism. But it has brewed too much toxicity.

It has driven too many women out of the Romance section and out of Nairaland. They feel that they are always being attacked by male Nairalanders who seem to hate and despise them.

How can we make women feel welcome in the Romance section and on Nairaland? What rules should we put in place to bring women back and make them very happy?

Femicide is a thing and it started out in most parts of the world with misogynistic posts and comments on social media platforms like this one. Like someone rightly mentioned, we'd read deadly or life-threatening cases experienced by females on here that aren't even on this platform but are met with hateful comments. The way forward is not someone demanding 3 things such as submission, respect, etc. from women that are not his wife. I think it's quite delusional to want to govern all women or expect submission from all women. Most Nigerian men desire a traditional woman yet they don't want to be traditional men in its entirety. Feminism is not being at logger heads with men, it is having rights to an equal number of opportunities, the right of a girl child to not be forced into marriage, the right to an inheritance and the right to own property, the right to have an education to the highest possible degree, it is the right to vote and be voted for, it is the right to be heard in all matters, etc. Women are not second class citizens. My suggestions are:

1. To change the mods in this section because there's no guarantee anything will be properly censored going forward OR

2. To have an equal number of male and female mods. But you'd need to verify the gender of potential mods because there is too much misrepresentation on this forum that I believe you're well aware of.

It's a tall dream to imagine that the hatred in this section will stop but perhaps, using a number of suggestions that have come up can be the beginning of a wholesome, respectable and vibrant forum like it once was.

I am the 2nd born out of 2 children, my elder brother has been married for some time with no kids as a result I am super careful with issues relating to fertility.

I have met her family and she has met mine, we are already planning marriage and have started counselling sessions in her church.

The only other option would have been to ask her to try for pregnancy before marriage but she is a virgin and wants to keep it that way till wedding, besides if I disvirgin her, how will I be able to walk away incase she doesn't get pregnant ?

I have experienced outbreaks of this kind the third time in the space of 5months. At first, it was like 3 appearing on my penis cap, the next day after a rough sex but i don't even know when it burst open and dried up because they were smaller in size compared to the outbreak in the picture and then later, a single one pops out twice which i burst open myself and they dried up leaving a tiny scar.

I thought it was all over until this recent outbreak. It doesn't itch or cause any pain and most times, I don't even remember it till i have to urinate.
