For your information, port Harcourt, Obio Akpor, eleme, oyibo and etche are now known as port Harcourt being the popular name.
Development is even eating deep into ikwerre area now.

Whoever stays in the aforementioned areas simply tells you the dwell in port Harcourt.

The 3 flyover being flag off are in Obio Akpor and not in Port Harcourt.

How is Oyigbo more developed than Port Harcourt? Successive governments have abandoned that part of Rivers State.

Once you pass Eleme junction en route Oyigbo, you won't even believe you're still in Rivers State. The road is extremely terrible.

I agree with you that development is eating deep into other Local governments. The government however needs to do much work concerning the road situation on these areas.

This is a daily occurrence in Rivers State. No sane person can travel between Port Harcourt and Owerri or Port Harcourt and Warri between 6pm and 8am.

The state government is responsible for the lands in the states and can as well control the lands herdsmen take their cattles for grazing which will in turn reduce the crisis

I watched it very well, and you just confirmed what I said.

Buhari didn't even give any reasonable answer. He pushed all the blame to the Farmers and talked about a 1960 Gazette on ranches for cattle.

Even when the lady asked him that it's possible those laws are outdated and can no longer meet present day realities, our President said that herdsmen are now in Bayelsa state and that we should always have a place for them to graze their cattle, since we can't chase them to the Atlantic Ocean.

Osinbajo said that the Federal Government can't do much and it's within the purview of the state governments.


We are in deep mess in this country.

So basically, what Buhari and Osinbajo are saying is that the Federal government can't do anything about the Farmers and Herdsmen clashes.
