@Cat: Show me where Mekusxx has glorified fraudulent Igbo people. Why does Mekusxxx scare the life out of you?. Anopheles Zombie. |
ChinenyeN:Lovely. It is a controversy when pointing outside Igboland. |
lizzybabe1:Probably, you have not been reading Mekusxxx posts. Mekus does not tolerate evil either from Igbo or not. In some of his posts, he has critisized Ndigbo who indulge in fraudulent adventures. So quit hating. |
sjeezy8:It has not come to that yet. Apologise to Aloy. |
sjeezy8: |
basktmout:This guy is too much. |
Abagworo:Interesting, but it has been dangerously used by some segments of Igbo. It has resulted in some groups wanting to opt out. |

The more the merrier. |
The Awujale means no good to Yoruba unity. If given the chance, he will carve out Ijebuland as a separate ethnic group different from the Yoruba. Some Igbo groups has done that in the past and it is about to creep into Yorubaland. |
There is no alternative to what an Elder from Mbaise said in an interview in Isichei. E. book on ''history of Igbo people''. According to the elder ''we do not come from anywhere, anyone who claims we come from a certain place is a liar''. As a result, Ndigbo should not look else where as their point of migration. Igboland is the natural habitat of Ndigbo. Anyway, most communities east of the Niger are not really interested in looking for where lies upon lies have said they came from. Rather they see their neighbours as one. What will it benefit a man from Isinweke to understand this day that he is from Zaki Ibiam and starts disclaiming Igbo. We have seen some cases of Ndi Ika here who claim Bini ancestry and in the process deny Igbo. Looking for different routes of origin is not healthy for Igbo unity. |
This senseless and stupendous post is good for the waste bin. Kosovo, where are you?. |
Hans Anuku. Bob manuel Udokwu. Tony Umez Tonto Dike Mike Ezuruonye. Ejike Asiegbu. @Poster, the list above can compete with your list. |
larimo:Stella is Igbo and from Delta state (Asaba). Are you the only West African who does not know that there Ndigbo in Delta state?. It is a shame. |
rekebel:REKEBEL O dika i wu onye uzo uyo. |
Abagworo:You are right. It is widely practised by Ndigbo and her neighbours. Think about the joy of a mother on receiving the news of a safe delivery of a baby by her daughter. Check out how the over joyous grand-mother would buy different types of delicacacies meant specifically for a woman newly delivered of a baby and also some suitable presents for the child. Then, she would set out for the son-in-law's place where she would take care of her daughter and the new born baby. Easterners, is that not interesting?. |
In twitter sites, you do not see Ndigbo being attacked from all angles. Everyday, it is one Igbo bashing or the other. What I realise in Nairaland is that Igbo scares life out of forumites. Nairaland will be better if this nonsense will stop. |
The birth of a baby In Igboland and other eastern Nigerian ethnic groups means that the nursing mother and child has to be ministered unto by a very close and experienced female relation. In most cases, the person who takes care of her, is her mother. If the mother is not alive or around, her step-mother performs the functions. |
Ile Omugwo in Igbo culture is the period during which the mother-in-law takes care of daughter and the new baby-her grand child (Ndulue.C 1995). Nairalanders, what do you know about Ile Omugwo?. |
egheleghe:Egheleghe, as a Rivers Igbo which you are, you should be able to translate this more than me. Nevertherless, I will give it a go. Egbe dama: Owerri dialect: Egbe or gun should sail well. This is an Owerri name. They also have names such as Nkwadama or Nkwazema. UGBO ALA: motor, car. ALA ISI IGWE: head of a crowned king. |
And I say NO, NO NO. |
Surely, this must be a closed-door friendly match. Nevertherless, it is a bad habit. |
Kuan Aguero, Pato, Z. Ibrahimovic: Whom do you think should head to Stamford Bridge?. |
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Chelsea-transfer-news-Carlo-Ancelotti-admits-he-would-like-to-sign-Liverpool-striker-Fernando-Torres-article424987.html Ancelotti admits he would like to sign Torres Carlo Ancelotti today gave John Terry the go-ahead for the FA Cup final - and then admitted he would like to sign Fernando Torres. Chelsea captain Terry gave the Premier League holders and England a scare after limping off during training on Wednesday and was immediately sent for a scan. But Terry was given the all-clear, trained fully today and Chelsea boss Ancelotti says he will play at Wembley against Portsmouth. Ancelotti said: "John Terry yesterday had the problem with his foot, but trained today with no problems so there will be no problem on Saturday." Chelsea striker Didier Drogba admitted this week he would love the club to sign Liverpool superstar Fernando Torres. |
@Poster: It may be painful when it comes to Ndigbo and maladministration. Right or wrong, it will not reroof that your father's thatched roof nor change that your father's worn out bicycle pedals. That your mother's akara and akamu early morning business will not grow an inch. This should be your primary concern and not Ndigbo. Peace be with you. |
Organising a funeral service for Ndigbo slaughtered in the North in 1966 is a good idea. Am sure their spirits have not rested since then. Perhaps, those who died during the Aba womens' Revolution in 1929 will be looked into as well. |
S. Kalou with his late impressive run in the league and age still on his side should not be gifted to any other club. He should remain at Sta.Bridge. |
rekebel:Ya dikwara gi mma. |
