Port Harcourt in its entirety is not Igboland. About 25% lies outside Igboland and belongs to the Okrika people. The areas currently facing demolition is non-Igbo. To the residents of the said area, it is an attempt by an Igbo governor to turn Port Harcourt completely Igbo. This is debatable. |
There is no peace for the wicked. Some years back, it was a mad man burning Awo's statue. |
CESC doesn't seem to understand what he is saying. Was he not in that cup final when Abu Diaby sent John Terry to hospital. How about Eboue's tackles?. |
Nzeribe is making all this utterances now that he is no longer a senator. Why did he not call for military intervention when he was a senator?. |
@Maxsiollum. What is the point of posting a hotly debated topic and yet you will not contribute a word?. Max, come out of your dungeon and provide some clarity to this thread of yours here. |
@POSTER, YOU ARE RIGHT. What happened to the former site of Imo state university at Etiti before it moved to Uturu and now Owerri?. It is mainly in Imo, Rivers and Oyo states that almost all the institutions and infrastructures are located in the capital. |

Kay 17:Stop that silly behaviour here. When They struck, they never had any tribal sentiments in mind. |
About 35% of the Almajiris here are not Yorubas. They are from places like the Far North, Niger and Tchad. |
sjeezy8:In the South West, Christians are: 60% Muslims: 30% African Religion, Eckanker, Guru Maharaji, Hare Krishna, O.O.O, Grail Messangers etc constitute 10%. In this region, muslims should not try any thing funny or else, they will swim in their own blood. |

They had their chance to end the impending madness but they failed, now It's time for a new batch of warriors to arise and finish what could not be corrected at first try. Many of these guys were younger than many people right now on NL so i don't think There's a problem of immaturity in this matter. We're all old enough to chart a new course while making reference to the mistakes of these guys so it doesn't repeat itself. @Edoyad, your ideas are good but Ndigbo have fought their own wars already. Count Ndigbo out if there should be any civil war in Nigeria. |
Ibime:@Ibime: May your days be long. |
There is a Dibia in a town not far away from mine. This Dibia can invoke a dead person and you chat with the dead. You will not see the dead but only hear the voice. In this way the dead can tell you how s/he died and who masterminded it. This dibia is still alive till date and his estimated age is 103. |
Gowo's guilty conscience is worrying him. |
@Zebra, I'm sick of this your moronic statements here. This are absolutely statements of a retard. I wrote earlier that apart from the Rebisi girl, there are so many Ikwerre girls in the Igbo Youths Organisation in the UK. Not just one or two. The Etche association here in the UK are affiliated to the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo UK chapter. In the US, Ikwerre's are affiliated to World Igbo Congress (WIC). The vice President of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo in Nigeria is an Ikwerre man called Engr Isaac Mahaonwu. For once, allow this basic facts to sink into your oversized empty skull. |

With Eneramo's scoring record in Tunisia, do you think he should be accommodated in the Nigerian team head to to the mundial this June?. |
Eneramo challenges Lagerback 08 March, 2010 02:15:00 BEN ALOZIE Font size: Eneramo •To break Euro-based players influence in Eagles As Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Lars Lagerback settles down to the challenge of building a formidable World Cup team for the country, Esperance of Tunisia striker, Michael Eneramo has advised the Swede to spread his search for quality players beyond Europe. Eneramo, who was dropped from Nigeria’s squad to the last Nations Cup in Angola for inexplicable reasons said that the over-bearing influence of Europe-based players in the Super Eagles denies quality players in other leagues across the world from getting a chance into the national team. "It’s a fresh challenge for Nigeria to build a good team. The new Technical Adviser made an interesting observation that the best players were not playing for Nigeria. I believe he was speaking the minds of many Nigerians who share his view. But I think he has made a point here and his appointment is a challenge to get the best for the country. "Perhaps, the biggest challenge he may face is to avoid the influence of some big name players in Europe. Nigeria is blessed with good players all over the world. It is unfortunate that there has been this notion that only players in Europe are the best for the national team. There are several players in African leagues who are doing great by all standards but are not given their deserved recognition during selections for the Super Eagles. I wish Lagerback and his assistants would give some players in Africa the chance to prove themselves. Expressing confident that he will make the Super Eagles squad to the World Cup in June, Eneramo said he is working very hard in his club to be at his peak in anticipation of a call-up to the national team camp. "I have been maintaining top performance in my club. I am confident to make the Super Eagles team to the World Cup. I want to play in the World Cup. I hope the new manager will give me a chance", he said. Eneramo made it 11 goals in 14 matches in the Tunisia Premier League last week when his double strike gave Esperance the maximum three points at the expense of Monastril FC. "We are on top of the league table. I have 11 goals now from 14 matches. I feel good scoring in almost all the matches, including some assists. My fans are crazy about it and want to sustain the tempo," he said. http://www.champion.com.ng/index.php?news=28864 |
Ogbe--quarters in Igbo. Ogbe--quarters in Bini. |
Jarus:How about Dede1?. |
Didier Drogba. |
@thread opener. You want another Yoruba bashing of Ndigbo as usual. You have failed badly. |
I lived in Ibadan for ages and can speak their language. I was also in Ibadan when war between christians and those guys were averted. They wanted the huge cross in front of the Chapel of Resurrection at Unibadan uprooted and removed. Christians refused and stood their ground despite several muslim threats. What ever the case, Christians are ready and am sure victory will be very certain. |
zebra:You are just a small fry and too little for me to echange curse words with. I wrote earlier that an Ikwerre girl from Rebisi is an executive of Igbo Youths organisation- the largest Nigerian socio/cultural organisation in the UK. There are lots more who are members. At the present, An Ika son is the president of the association. Get a life. There are so many ethnic groups in Nigeria who are not Igbo. Ndigbo do not claim them. In Okrika, Rivers state, half of the population are Igbo speaking. Yet we do not regard them as Igbo. Why are you so fixated on the Igbo. Why not say Ijebus, Ekitis, and Ondos are not Yoruba. Keep on putting your hand in your finger. |
asha 80:I think Kosovo and Dede1 has a slight edge over him. |
zebra:I am a member of the Igbo Youths UK (www.icsn.co.uk), and the president of this famous body is an Ika son and a proud Igbo. One of the girls in the executive body of this organisation and the largest Nigerian socio/cultural organisation is from Rebisi. Wherei s Rebisi?. You do not have the right insight to speak for those Igbo groups as your arguments here baseless and unfounded. Why are they heading Igbo organisations if they are not Igbo?. We mark Iri ji festival in the UK and a well established Ika monarch flows in from Nigeria as the Royal father of the day. What does that tell you?. Common boy, grow up. |
@Jakumo: It seems you are copying Kosovo or else , how come the same vocab that Kosovo has been using is being repeated by you?. |
@Zebra or whatever you call yourself, tell me where Igbo people have claimed that Calabar, Ijaw and Goodluck Jonathan are Igbo. The OHANAEZE NDI IGBO represents who are Igbo people. There is no Ijaw, Calabar and G.Jonathan in the Ohanaeze. But there is Ikwerre and Ika in Ohanaeze and other Igbo organisations. There are even some groups in Cross River state who speak Igbo and yet we do not classify them as Igbo nor do we invite them to join Ohanaeze. Desist from commenting on Igbo affairs because you are not one and does not know anything about Ndigbo. Common stop the madness. |
May his soul rest in perfect peace, amen. |
abadaba:Father forgive them for they know not what they do. |
