To start with, there were no local govt elections in Imo state last August. What Ohakim did was only to appoint PDP members loyal to him in all the local councils.
In my own local council in Imo state, the chap whom Ohakim gave the position never campaigned even once, while those who printed posters and spent heavily making their opinions known to convince the electorates lost out.
The chap was handed Ihitte-Uboma chairmanship post because his brother is Ohakim's pal. What a shame.

It is very wrong for non Igbo people to start issues regarding Ndigbo. If Igbos had wanted an apology from Ojukwu, they would have long done so. Alabi is really seeking for attention. Ojukwu did not declare war nor declare for Biafra without the consent of the then Eastern regional parliament.
We Ndigbo, do not need any apology from him.

I think it is a Nigerian territory but but if there is a split, it goes to the "North" (Core north and MB) and you all know it except you want to deceive yourselves.

But the country is not divided yet. What is now know as fed capital territory was carved out of the old Niger state and old plateau state. Both are in the middle belt and not in the north.
Even Abaji in the F.CT is about to be ceded to Kogi state but not to the north.

I think Col Igboba, a midwestern Igbo would have led that mission. Yet when Igboba questioned the delay of Banjo and his meeting with westerners Banjo imprisoned him and left him at the mercy of of the enemies. They released him and got him beheaded.
Am full of praises for Igboba, Onwuatuegwu and other Anioma sons who died fighting along side their kins from the east.

Most of this speakers have been voted out already e.g Jonas Okafor.
The most thing to happen to Imo state house of assembly is to elect Ben Uwajumogu, a very libel man as the speaker.

Apart from education, health should require urgent attention in Owelle's administation. What I saw at Ihitte-Uboma General Hospital, Isinweke last year was an eyesore.
No constant power supply, water and drugs were lacking.
Pillow cases and bed spreads were out of order.
Very difficult to get hold of doctors after 5pm.
Medical equipments were in short supply and where available, they are archaic. Some of the medical equipments there were donated by individuals. This poster also donated Blood pressure and blood glucose monitor machines freely.
Please, pay attention to hospitals in rural areas, Owelle.

This same Argentina beat Portugal, Spain and Germany in friendlies.
