jba203: 200 South Africa soliders managed to fight back and killed 600 bandits until they raised a white flag for surrendering
That present baddly. You saying(but not meaning) they fought 600 men then killed them and then those dead guys sighned a cease fire.

What you want to say was.

200 SA solders fought a force numcring between 1000 to 3000 killed 600(it was actially closer to 500) and forces the rebels to a cease fire.

Henry120: SA has by far better infrastructure than nigeria. South africa is owned by blacks, whites, indians, coloureds and asian. They all built their country.

Who is the new SA citizen on the thread@greenandgold? Welcome to the thread.

@Andrewza, those APC's made by the nigerian army are great, they passed all their required ballistics and mine tests, that's what is important. Not whether you like the design or not. Besides the design is not bad.

I dis agree with my compatriot, before white people came to africa, the continent had many full fledgling empires, the benin empire and the oyo empires of nigeria, where amongst some of africa's most developed empires.

Coming to present day nigeria, we have had an infrastructure deficit, especially in power supply, because nigeria in the 60-early 90's was gripped with a series of military coups, so it was difficult to get long term plans( infastructural development) in place.

Despite our shortcomings, in terms of infastructural development only south africa in africa has more more development projects than nigeria on the african continent. Countries like angola, have most of their developments in luanda. In nigeria development is country wide, every state has huge development projects going on.

Abuja is a world class city, we only started building that city in 1993. 100% african city. We nigerians are proud of the city.

Lagos is another world class city, you have the rich, affluent parts and the not so good parts. The city is just like Rio in brazil. It is one of africa's richest cities and most developed.

There is also calabar, nigeria's holiday city, and far finer than lagos.

Uyo is a sister city of calabar, another very beautiful nigerian city, with massive infastructural boom going on there(uyo)

Port-harcourt, this is another great nigerian city, I live in port-harcourt. Nigeria's 3rd most important city after lagos and the capital abuja.

It is correct to say that nigeria has infastructural deficits. To say nigeria those not have massive infastructural developments or already developed infastructures is not only naïve but extremely fooli*sh .

I implore you south africans on this thread to visit nigeria, when you come, you can now make your very own conclusions.

I do have a question for the south africans, south africa has an indian population of almost 2million people, my question is what do the indians do? I never see them in sports or politics. Do you have indian politicians or sportsmen?
I just don't like the Dixson APC. Looks to box like. Would work for rear area secuirt but not on the front line.

The indians are all over but not in the public. Some of our best ckrite players are indian and they have there own politcal party.

DictatorZAR: So this is what your american baboons told you, while some of those same baboons don't know DRC is not a town in Somalia.
Lol most could not find the DRC or somlia on a map never mind there own countrie.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:33am On Mar 27, 2013
DictatorZAR: Soweto is far more advanced then half of Lagos today, your still building a light rail network since 1980's while Soweto as u say "slum" arleady has commuter rail networks, mall, BRT including the worlds best multipurpose stadium and 98% of all of Soweto's 4m people have electricity and tarred roads.

You need to get out of your small world and travel a bit MR
And most people call soweto a slum.

It all so has one of africas biggest hospitals.

agaugust: africa without the white man.
You spent to much time in America. I sugest you don't come home. Ever.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 7:28am On Mar 27, 2013
agaugust: the white man buit everything technological in all africa, the whole of africa was jungle bush before the white man came. we all owe him respect for opening our blind eyes, but you south africans dont want to acknowledge that. you dont mention the fact that south africa has 5 million white citizens who massively transferred european technology from their white brothers to south africa.

dont take the glory that does not belong to you. all we west african nations are 100% black, no white citizens. our blacks have achieved far more than south african blacks since your 20 years independence.

give honour to whom honour is due, and respect those you did a solo journey long before you woke up from sleep.

i am off this topic. bye bye.
That is a foolish and ignorat statment and shows your lack of knowledge of Africa. There have been a number of powerfull African kingdoms even a few in west Africa.

Are you even African.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 7:18am On Mar 27, 2013
Lol you complian that white people built up SAs power grid(ingoring SA current massive power plant building project) while talking how nigeria is getting white people to build there power plants.

LoL
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:58am On Mar 27, 2013
GreenandGold: You can just image, we are the largest power producer in Africa by margins and we're still building, 7000MW will be added to our grid in just 2 years.

I have been following Nigerian building projects since 2004 at that time they were building "the largest film studious in Africa" and they claimed that Hollywood was gonna knock at their doors for projects. Years later, I saw the studio on TV, its a joke, its a colourful ugly thing.
South Africa built her film studious in Cape Town, Hollywood came knocking because they're real studios and they're world class.

Nigeria is all claim, all talk and fantasy driven. I would never be surprised if those projects turnout to be third-worldish like everything they build.
Have you seen some of there APC's. Rhodsia built better APC's and they had only one freind. SA who was all so under sacstion.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 6:33am On Mar 27, 2013
GreenandGold: Just to add, those cities will be powered by what? you have a chronic shortage of electricity, you don't even produce 33% of what we produce and we're low in population figures.

You have put your priorities all wrong! This cart before the horse is not going anywhere.
Tell that to porschsmiley

But you right. Non of those have been built and nothing will be until untill the power problem resoveld.

CAMEROONPRIDE: ^ the problem is not how strong we are , the problem is how weak they are ....look o just told you how we think, we ain't imperialist ..
It's called politic of the empty chair. It works for us you do your things we do ours. I don't expect Nigeria to say okay Biya dey vex us let's go remove him..you get it? Why should Cameroonian die for something which doesn't concern us and don't even constitute a threat for us huh huh
I guess we have different mentality.
Rebels(and this aliance may break up now they have no comon enemy) don't care about your borders and may raid you due to more wealth in camaroon.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:54pm On Mar 26, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: i keep asking help to do what exactly? So northerners are not CAR citizens Its also their country.. you are talking nonsense we can occupy the whole Region minus Chad if we want that's if none of them receive any external help....what's the size of their military, abeg don't make me laugh ..... If you check Cameroon history you will see that we don't intervene in people's business.
Nigeria civil war
Chad rebellion
Chad war against Libya
CAR first military coup. Second and third
Gabon post electoral violence

We dey watch, and It's written the role of our army is to defend Cameroon and his citizens. Not to fight just to fight, CAR is not a threat expect for massive immigration
Don't kid your self camroons army is not nearly strong enough.

No but they where in control of the entire country minuse the capital.

Have you not wonderd that maybe the rebels are being supported from out side forces. If CAR central goverment struggeld to put together 1000 solders how did sekela get together 3000 strong force with heavy wepaons.

And preventing the collaps of your next door nierbour is deffending your country.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:41pm On Mar 26, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: yeah I call it peaceful. As an military expert you know it could b worse than that,
It not over and there has not been a survey on what damge has occured to civlians yet. There still shooting happeing through out the city.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:40pm On Mar 26, 2013
pleep: sounds like a normal day in South Africa to me. grin
Not on that scall and when has a SA hospitall been raided. Just because in Nigeria raiders drive in to towns and blow up prisons and policse stastions dose not mean that happens in SA.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:38pm On Mar 26, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: ^ help for what? Ahaaa I laugh in Ewondo, we don't back up archaic government. Also there is always a social cause to any revolution, what if the people there really want him to go/leave, we don't know their aspirations and their social realities. That's why we never intervene in any insurrection in Central Africa.(Chad, CAR,Gabon) we just watch...I don't want my soldiers to die over useless war , we need them for bigger things.
BTW each time there is an armed revolution it means more immigrants in Cameroon .so let them be and decide for themselves.
If you did some reshearch you would know the rebels are from the north and the guys down south do not like them.

And I think it is because camaroon can't help.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:28pm On Mar 26, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: just like their former president before him, we are used to them, that's why there is no point to intervene esp when it is a peaceful revolution. Someone else will remove him and the cycle will continue
Massive looting reports of rapping, no power hosptals been raided and reports of infighting among the rebels. If that is you idea of peace full I don't want your non peacefull.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:24pm On Mar 26, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: does SA lack mineral wealth? Last time I checked all the mineral companies there are owned by France? CAR is not in your region Abeg back off go play big brother/bully in south Africa(the region) what kind of nonsense b this
You asked for a consipracy I gave you one.

And it is not my fault between 500-1000 african peace keeper ran away at the first sighn of troubel. I mean why does camaroon not help, they right next door.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:10pm On Mar 26, 2013
And you do know the former presdent ran from CAR to DRC and then Camaroon.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 8:06pm On Mar 26, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: What is SA interest in CAR? Humm huh huh, I smell something fishy
Mineral wealth. Like all ways no one helps with out getting somthing in return.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 3:41pm On Mar 26, 2013
Reports are that SAAF will deploy oryx, rooivalk and gripens to CAR if asked. There are all so reports of solders ready to move out to CAR. Has it stands SA solders are in no danger all 400 are loacted at the airport along with french solders.

It was not lake of ablietty that stoped more solders being sent in but poltics.

I doubt we will send mechnized or armour. The logistics and cost dose not warrent the need. Even the gripens seem to be a waist. The rooivalk is enough and hawks are has good in light bombing.
Foreign AffairsRe: Where Would South Africa Be Without White People? by andrewza: 2:15pm On Mar 26, 2013
all4naija: Another thing, the few white population in that society still control over 90% of everything! That alone speaks how it couldn't be possible for the blacks to develop that country to what it is today without the white people input!
you claim my souce is wrong yet you dont bother to give one

Henry120: Oil accounts for 69%. Not 80%. Stop peddling mis information.
Is that a nigerian source. And I include every thing oil and oil related(invstructer, security, housing of forghine workers extra)
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 1:22pm On Mar 26, 2013
RSA: Personally I am not supporting our goverment for supporting CAR's administration,it was useless operation politically if you ask me.
But we could have used this little war to fine tune our war strategies and military equipments. This should have been our practice ground. We should have went in there with all our mighty and fight a winning battle and quickly pulls out and let the local runs their own country.
I don't like how 250 men (there where 200 at the airport but they never got attacked) where left alone like that. There was no air support or AFV present nor any way to extracted them if the line did not hold. We should have deployed a few rooifalk and hawks along with orxy helicopters. Or at least given up the base and brought every one to the airport. They have done this now but if they did this friday I doubt we would have suverd any losses. Has it is we may have won a battel bat one that should never of occured.

If we had just a handfull of rooivalk and hawks(or gripens but hawks are more cost effective) and a motrised infantry battlion we would have stoped the rebels. Though I don't think we should have. Not like CAR was worth saveing.

sheyie2007: Here we go again.. I'm tired of educating you dude lipsrsealed from 100 its now 80.. huh
When did I ever say 100% said around 90%. Each source I look is a bit diffrent but no matter the year it around 80%. And please educate me. GDP is only one part of your ecomny. You still years from coming close to SA.

80% of all cars made in africa are made in SA.
We one of the biggest refiners of crude oil in Africa.
We domernat the top 200 bussines in Africa.
Nigeria has nothing on SA other than Crude oil.
InvestmentRe: Investors Turn To Nigeria As South-Africa Struggles by andrewza: 12:13pm On Mar 26, 2013
AjanleKoko: Apart from retail, broadcast, and telecom (MTN), it's hard to say that SA is the biggest investor in Nigeria. Yes, South African companies have invested all over Africa, even in Nigeria. But outside those sectors, I would say indigenous Nigerian companies hold a large chunk of the Nigerian economy. Apart from SA itself, there are very few countries in Africa apart from Nigeria with significant local holdings.

Also, Nigeria doesn't have to invest all over Africa for its economy to level with, or outstrip SA's economy. With our population, we can be a giant purely on our local investment. Give it time, it will happen.
Google searcg Africas biggest companys and you will see what SA invests in.

Well arround 80% of your forgine money is from oil and all reports including the one I posted show it is the main driving force behind the nigerian econmy.
