Segedinho: Oh.....
Maybe I misunderstood your position.
If your position is the intent of forgery,...so how can you conclude his intention was positive, when he said he has collected the original copy n yet refuse to tender it.....
Killing in a war is regarded as "territorial defence" just like sex in marriage....
An American soldier Killing a Russian soldier in a war is valid but an American soldier killing he a Russian soldier (no in war)is regarded as a crime even when the American soldier assumes he is in a war....(His assumption doesn't matter)
Here,INEC requested school certificate b4 u are registered as a contender,Tinubu told d World as well as INEC he had collected this certificate and would do d right thing.....
He deceived everyone with a forged certificate. This violates the requirement and you see nothing wrong with it..
You tell me the intention of doing such when he had d luxury of doing the right thing.. Define the crime called forgery. I did not read the rest of what you posted. |

MorataFC: What does the law say? Android17 has been asking everyone but no one answers him, again what does the law say I want to know. If they (the judges, lawyers) who are at the helm of the law now deliver the verdict at the supreme courts hope you will not cry injustice? They will cry injustice because they refused to follow simple logic. If man sets a plan that he will kill his wife on a certain day and then executes it the law calls it first degree murder. But if in the heat of an argument he strikes her and she collapses and dies. The man killed her but the law will not call it first degree. Because he will try to argue that he did not strike her with the intent to kill. Same way if an armed robber comes to my house and I take my rifle to blow his head off, I will not be charged for murder. I will argue self-defense and so on. I have told them to define the crime called forgery and nobody is man enough to do it. They started claiming I said forgery is not a crime. |

MorataFC: People like the news that favours them but every news that goes contrary to their beliefs is wrong and unacceptable, I don't like Tinubu but it is what it is, my wife said I should drop all my hatred towards our leaders and move on, Obasanjo is bad, Yar'dua is a green snake, Goodluck is clueless, Buhari is a combination of a tyrant and tribalist and then Tinubu is a druggie, Haba, if Jesus comes to rule this nation some of you will still complain then we need to check ourselves. I have never told anyone to vote for Tinubu. The only Nigerian president I ever "campaigned" for was Buhari and I had dumped him before 2019. I have no political heroes or foes. I have said it here before. I may support Putin on one topic and then argue against him on another. I don't do cults and cliques. A001 if he can recall, I was supporting him when he was asking questions about COVID-19 origin. Yet me and him have had many uncivil conversations afterwards. That is what people here don't understand. I am simply devoted to logic - nothing else. Except when Pep is concerned sha hahahaha. |

Segedinho: I would want you to watch this video carefully and juxtaposed what your perception of his "INTENT" is
Lies and deceit are embedded in forgery, hence it is a crime..like I said earlier FORGERY is divergent....It ranges from cloning what you have already to printing from imagination.......the intent is always deceit especially when you are not incapacitated to achieve such a feat
The Nigerian constitution frowns at FORGERY (no exception).... bla bla bla Define the crime called forgery to me. Then we can take it from there. |

Note that he never collected this cert. It is you who should be trying to postulate his intent to defraud. Any conversation that anyone is having with me that does not begin with defining the crime called forgery to me, is a conversation that I am not willing to have on this matter. |

Ibime: Obama never went to school on no F1 visa. You can't correct people to the truth when you inhabit a world of alternative lies. Ibime, I oftentimes like your posts on many topics because you can be logical when you want to be. The only issue I tend to have with you is that you like to dabble into conversations that you are clearly ignorant about and you always try to pass off your superficial knowledge like some conventional wisdom. I can list out 5 things we have argued about recently and time has proven that you were wrong on ALL of them. I see it as childish in coming here to gloat so I just laugh it off and move on because unlike you, I don't debate things I have not thoroughly researched. If you have nothing productive to do, engage other people. If you want to engage me, be civil and I will return the favor. |

Segedinho: In brevity..
FORGERY is not a crime and Nigeria constitution is so wrong to attributes punishment to any one found guilty of such...
That is how you sound. Can somebody who understands English explain to this person I am responding to that I never said forgery is not a crime. I said to define the crime called forgery. When soldiers kill each other in war is that regarded as murder? No. Because the the crime called murder does not refer to every killing. I thought you said you graduated with 4pts from UNIBEN? No offense, but you are not arguing like someone who graduated with such a GPA. |

liveLongNprospa: He's the one being intellectually dishonest?? Him?? 😂😂 Define the crime called forgery. Why is it so hard? Remember, dummies were gyrating that forgery of all sorts is a crime, right? And I said it is not true. For one to commit the crime called forgery, INTENT to defraud for the purpose of gaining an advantage must be established. That is why you emotionalists are now twisting something all of us (who have zero issues in reading and comprehending) have gleaned from the deposition that you yourself posted here. Did CSU deny Tinubu as being a student that graduated from their institution? If so, can you screenshot the exact point that they said it. Let me show you another example of intellectual dishonesty. |

Modified: This is why my intention would be discarded even if true,,,I could easily have called to inform you but I didn't, even when I swore I did in the presence of the judges.
Here..I am happy you have accepted the fact that there was FORGERY but the intent ...
Tinubu told the world he has collected the original certificate. This shows his intention was actually negative cos he deceived everyone even INEC.
I don't have to define forgery to know it is a crime......The essence of the deceit or manoeuvring is best known by the person executing it..........Tinubu had the time, money, fame and affluence to get it without much delay but he lied. This is actually a dent on whatever "INTENT" you are fighting for. Until you define the crime called forgery don't bother engaging me on this topic as you are only going to be intellectually dishonest. Next. |

Itsrm: So what happened in 2022 when he was filling the form he submitted to INEC
Remember there have been controversies around it since he was governor. All he had to do was pick it up and save us all this drama and embarrassment. The optics for us as a nation is not good.
Our guys for instance are all over upwork and fiverr trying to get jobs from people who have seen numerous headlines of our president being labelled a certificate forger. You are asking reasonable questions but the overarching irrefutable truth covers those gaps. That is why I said, as long as CSU admitted that he was a student and graduated from the school, all the speculations about why he did not do what cannot overrule him. That is just a fact. The lesser truth is subsumed by the greater one. For e.g. I cannot discuss someone's secondary school certificate if they have a graduate level one that nobody is refuting. Speaking about controversies - they are always media inspired. If you give yellow journalists money, they will print whatever you want them to print. I am sure you heard about the controversies concerning Obama's place of birth. His detractors had better evidence than all the Tinubu hoopla (Obama went to University on an F-1 Visa #Fact). However, Obama could prove that Hawaiian newspapers that report the births of children in real time, had reported that he was born in Hawaii in 1960 (which means his own proof predates his detractors'). He is the only one who will be able to explain why he went to school as an immigrant - the rest of us can only speculate. That was the end of the debate because the average American is more intelligent than the dummies on Nairaland. |

@Android17 perjury? Forgery? Comman explain explain with evidence What is forgery as defined by the criminal code act? You think I am here to defend Tinubu? I am devoted to logic. Whenever I have free time and I see logic being misrepresented, I step in to challenge the misrepresentation. How can you be so sure you are right yet you are evading a chance to prove it? Or maybe you are just a troll and you know the very definition of the crime, forgery, will put your illogical arguments to bed? Which one is it? |

Amigoss: Punishment of forgery in general. Any person who forges any document, writing, or seal, is guilty of an offence which, unless otherwise stated, is a felony, and he is liable, if no other punishment is provided, to imprisonment for three years.Section 465 of the Criminal Code Act in Nigeria
While Sections 362 to 364 of the Penal Code address forgery offenses, with penalties reaching up to 14 years of imprisonment. Thanks for showing me the consequences of committing the crime called forgery. Please, can you define that crime? What did the Criminal Code Act define as Forgery? I appreciate. |

Wikipedia is not a credible source, it is only there to help you, not to replace proper research.
