One Mama at the ANC swore by their soap (made with milk and calcium) and the milton set (powder, lotion and oil) she said that's what her 1st baby used. I want to try it.

Yes there is milton wipe, it's not too long they introduced it according to the nurse. It's 750 for one.

Hi. Will you buy reusable pad it's one thing to do reusable diapers, but even I get icked out by reusable pads. I can't stand the sight of blood, even mine. For those asking questions about wipes, I used cloth wipes for first baby and I'm using the same cloth wipes for this baby.

Heard that in one of the ANC classes too, those nurses came to tell us about their fragrance free wipe and other products. It's called MILTON. Am planning to give it a trial tho.

Please has anybody used any of their products before? This includes milton soap, oil for breast cleaning, wipes, baby oil, lotion and powder.

Yes there should be hospital list, you can ask any of the nurses that attends to you.

Well,not all gen hospitals!The one I used gave me fansidar n d routine drugs witout me asking and the will always ask at evry anc if I still have my routine drugs or not so d can give me mre incase it is finished!

That's good of them. I have only used one general Hospital here in Lagos and that's my experience there. They give fansidar in my hospital, don't know if people pay for it tho. Mine was prescribed today but they don't have in Stock so had to and buy outside. All these said, there is no doubt that they are very competent and good at their work

And yes, I just got registered at a general hospital. Earlier on when I had issues in the pregnancy, I used a private, and they made me know all I should. I just didn't want to register there cos I felt I would meet more specialists in the general hospital. So I have to be asking all the questions? Ok na.

Yes o. You must ask them. I also used private for my 1st pregnancy, they spoon-fed me all through. Unlike General Hospital, before I registered, I started using the routine drugs. I was shocked at my 1st appointment with the doctor when he didn't even mention routine drug. So what if am a first time mum? That's how I won't know what routine drugs are. From then, I learnt to ask questions. It is well

Please, is there any mama who didn't use Ferrous Sulphate (fesolate) tabs during pregnancy? I had a terrible experience with it and I stopped taking it. Currently on Folic Acid only. I'm 15+ weeks gone, am I safe?
And to think that I just returned from my first ANC, and nobody said anything about routine drugs...

I also reacted to it in the early stage of my pregnancy that I stopped taking it and started taking only folic acid. During my first ANC, I asked the doctor to prescribe another blood tonic, but he said I should continue with the ferrous. That it wasn't the reason I had those terrible symptoms. I yielded and it's been good since then.

@ bolded, if you use general, you will be the one to be asking all these questions o. Don't expect them to talk about it unlike private where they will give you the routine drugs every ANC.
