In the US they have state police which is controlled by the Chief executive officer of the state (governor) which make them answerable to the governor unlike in Nigeria where we have federal police controlled by the president .

In the Nigeria the Inspector General of police is actually more powerful than a state governor as he takes orders from the president alone , even the state commissioner of police in Lagos state will wait for IG's directive before carryong out the order of the governor.

A sitting governor dont have the power to override order of the highest court of the land, The IG and the AGF in a case he is party to.

A pilot is the captain and has the unequivocal right and authority to ask any passenger including staff to disembark if he feel (in anyway) that the passenger has behaved in a manner that is unbecoming.

He has the power and has permission to use it. You do not argue or fight, when a pilot tells you to get off his plane, you get the eff off.

It is like a danfo driver telling you to take your money and get out of his bus. That is where it ends, you get off. He has the power and authority
