Though i happen to have visited an estate recently when i visited Abuja. A lot of senior staff of NNPC reside in the estate - a lovely estate built by the NNPC Staff Co-Op. At a party organized by one of the residents at the estate recreation centre i met one staff who was a panelist. We got talking and he mentioned how this last recruitment batch was generally good especially the GTs. That they most of them gave impressive performance but a few were really off. He in fact mentioned a particular candidate that blew them away with her responses on the safety and behavioral questioned asked but flunked some of the technical question. In fact he said entire panel unreseverdly agreed to scored her 98.5 which ( i guess that is over 100). Her high score was because she gave them modern insights of the subject matter on those two areas. He categorically said “ thats the kind of people the corporation needs and is looking for!”. May God help us all o!

Kinda sounds like me. Only I did very well in the technical and goofed in the safety part. Behavioral was fair.
They were asking me precautions and car checks for driving on a rainy day. Me that don't have bicycle.

Some days I just look at my rich cv with so much optimism that I'll get apl.

Other days I remember my mean panelists and some questions I bongled and get scared for the worst.

I know perhaps I'm not the only one.

If he got his APL good for him if he was just kidding around it's still good for him, maybe the joke isn't so funny. But raining curses and insults on him is your depression and frustration jumping out of your body. Some of you need help tbh. Some of you are losing their sanity on top nnpc job but you don't know it. This same job that people are offering 7M and 8M naira to get. You are killing yourselves over nothing. Some will get the APL on- merit and thousands won't get. I wonder the family some of you are raised to find it so easy to insult people. It's a disgrace

There are parish pastor's, Area pastor's, Zonal pastor's, Provincial pastor's and Regional pastors. It is impossible for you to pastor two churches in Redeem let alone Zonal churches.
No Redeemed pastor builds a church with his money, they are contributed from all quarters.

Tithes and offerings are remitted according to hierarchy. They are meant for the church and not pastor's. So she shouldn't go about feeding people lies.

Pastor's are paid there allowance and salary monthly and are also been paid pension after retirement.
It shows she knows nothing about the church apart from been a pastor's daughter.

I wanted to paste the original here before, but after seeing how angry many of them were, I just smiled and moved on.
U can send me ur email, I'll send you a copy of my original letter after blocking personal details so that u can confirm for yourself.

I was at the towers to return the signed copy of the offer letter on Monday and pick up the introduction letter for my pre-employment medical, I met about 6-10 people waiting there. On the list we filled for before we submitted, my name was number 83. I know many people who got may not be closed to Abuja, so they will probably wait until the deadline to go. Interestingly too, all the people I saw, and the names on my attendance register page were all northerners/muslim except mine.

It's possible this is being done in batches though or we that were called are for a specific location which needs urgent manpower (cos my father-in-law said something like this last month).

In all though, I give glory to God, ur doubts and anger will not take away from me the APL which I already have. I pray as many of us still waiting will get ours soon in Jesus name.

I won't comment on this thread again after this though, too much toxicity

Someone bought a plot of land somewhere for N200K, and the person doesn't know the location of the property yet since 3 years.

For over 2 years they have been looking for buyers with N200 to N250K, no one has come up. The funny thing was they bought 4 plots, the only person that knows the location of the land is the middle man, if he dies the land dies.

Moral of the story; avoid cheap bush area of lands as they won't appreciate during your lifetime.

I'll definitely use this advice when I'm ready.

Let me tell you a short story. A couple of years ago, I was in your shoes. I had just saved my first 1m and had two options; I could either buy tbills or buy a land. The people I had around me all encouraged me to get the land...You know what they say about landed properties never depreciating

The land was bought somewhere in the West, spent another 300k on a little fence. I thought I was securing it since I had no immediate use for it. I was recently called to send money to have them cut the grass as it was getting too bushy.

While the grass was being cut, someone told the man the land has been sold to someone else. I placed a call across to the agent who sold it for me and he assured me it was all lies.

The man who sold the land to me through the agent still claims to not have sold the land to anyone else.

As it stands, a report has been made at the police station, the community has been involved and they have told the other "buyer" to present his documents and tell them who sold the land to him on or before next Thursday.

I am not saying you'll have the same experience. I still have another land I bought with no issues (yet ) but if I have to go back in time, I would have chosen tbills without thinking twice.

The choice is yours to make
