MamaIva: Congratulations to everyone that has gotten approvals. Its really a breathe of fresh air .All things will work together for our good .
So i needed to ask ,is there anyone that has applied for visa and gotten it and the sponsor used was not related to them . My sponsor I want to use for my application ,she is a family friend. I just want to know the possibilities. Pls dont use family friend or better still the family friend should transfer the necessary amount that covers your tuition for a yr and living expenses to your account. |

Fgmp12: Bro, the bolded is wrong as the final decision has already been made and they are probably holding on the decision so as to not create any back logs (applicant reapplying before September 15) for themself. I believe almost everyone who failed eligibility and haven’t done their biometrics got the same first message on there GcMs note. I did too Well, you might be right but I adviced the moniker that because reading the vos statement, he said "hold on until biometrics is done before making a final decision" therefore meaning a final decison hasnt totally been made which is why the vo didnt say "am refusing the application" to me I would use that chance to clear the air for the vo. Like i said its a slim chance. No harm in trying |

Miztafrank: I thought gcms note are those whose application was denied and want to know reason why. Not only that, you can also use it to find out why your application is being delayed and gives you a chance to add further documents eg updated admission letter. Or as per recent updates, people apply to know if a decision has been made considering nothing is has been happening on their apps |

chloe3: Thank you very much for your response. The program he applied for is actually a postgraduate certificate course. He said that while filling his SP forms that he was asked what certificate to be obtained after his study in Canada, but there was no postgraduate diploma on the option drop down on the forms, so he just selected the Diploma that was there since he was not going for a master's, PHD or a degree program. He clearly stated it on his LOA that he wanted to advance his career that and the company also said on there letter that he will be advance/promoted upon completion of his study because they are willing to retain him. He also said he didn't submit his ID card, bank statement or payslip because his payment was not regular and most at time his boss pay him from his own account. CHAI!!!!! Error.. Should have asked though. Theres PGD in the drop down. |

sleekcheek: I just got my gcms notes (applied on the 25th of August. To be honest I expected this result while still hoping for the best. I have already deferred my admission to winter 2021 and I intend to repackage my application and reapply.
My question is there is a part where the wrote *do not finalize until biometrics is completed or a new letter is sent when VACs reopen* What letter are they referring to? Does this mean I still have hope of saving this application or should I just wait till they finalize and reapply again?
Thank you all for your anticipated assistance At this point, no final decision has been taken on this application meaning you might still have a slim chance of saving the application. Seeing the vos comments, why no draft a letter defending all he has said while pointing his to evidence showing why he is wrong .If I were you I would try even though the chances are slim but its still a chance. My 2kobo. |

Manifoldlove: I beg to differ strongly; it is not an issue. All he or she needs is to convinve the VO in SOP why the change of course. Career shift is highly encouraged in this part of the world. Not talking about career shift.. Level of program was diploma not PGD |

olasubomy: Good evening All,
Please "Affidavit of Sponsorship and Letter of Sponsorship" Can we relate this to the same document or the sponsor must write a letter and also produce affidavit to support?. Please i need clarification on this so as not to flood the application with documents not needed. Thanks The same thing .. Difference is one is a sworn affidavit while the other is not but a simple letter. |

Urrch: Thank you.
I am getting an extra 4 million from my cousin but he will send it through my parent's account, that's a total of 7million which will cover for the 1 year PGD
With this, I don't need anybody's statement of account right? You need a one year tuition fees plus $10,000cad living expenses for at least a year in your statement of account |

letskeeptalking: Hi, could I trouble you for some advice?
I have admission for January and I want to apply with my (4) kids. People say I'm crazy for even considering that but these are some of the reasons why I think I can pull it off . ..
1. My husband is staying behind . . 2. I don't plan to travel immidiately, I plan to start my study online and continue working here, until the summer of next year. 3. PoF - 35kCAD in a Canadian Bank Grarantee certificate (Which I can only access when I arrive there); Payment of one year upfront school fees; evidence of continous (about 700k) earning between now and whenever I'm ready to relocate (Including 25% pension funds which I can access after I travel . . worth about 10kCAD). 4. Letter from my current employer stating that the degree will be an added advantage in my career prospects here in Nigeria after completion. 5. Travel history (3 of my kids were born in the US)
Of course I have the option of going first without my kids, and then requesting for them to join me later. But I will rather consider that as a Plan B.
So do you guys think I'm crazy? Its not crazy and as a mother it shows you dont want to be away from your kids. Well . I would say dont take all of them at once but if you are insistent, you will also apply for day care schools for your kids thats if they are still young and include it in your visa application while your husband remains behind and acts as your hometies. For the listed documents you have. I believe you are okay and good to go. |

Urrch: Please someone should help? 3million is not enough ... You need a co-sponsor related to you. Anybody that will be your sponsor, you need their statement of account likewise that of a co-sponsor. If your parents are sending the 3m to your account, you will state it in your sop. |

I should have gone for masters but I a have very low CGPA Which is not upto 3.0, please I'm asking based on people experience on what is the best for me right now, I have 5 years of experience in Telecommunication currently working with Huawei. Do you guys think I will be given a visa. Your advice is welcome please. God bless!!!! Massive red flag here.. Purpose of visit might also happen here... Pls why a bsc and not a PGD or a masters? Since you have a low cgpa, why not a PGD ? |

frostfr89: Hello House,
Please I would need some of your insights, although I deferred my admission this Fall due to the COVID-19 delays and backlogs I am considering the BCS certification in IT.
I would like to know if it is advisable for me to apply for the November Term, as this would be my first time and I don't know the rudiments of the exam scheme, I placed a call through and discovered that classes started 4 weeks back.
In addition, I hold a bachelor's in Elect/Elect and would also want to fancy my chances in the EE pathway while I hold on till next fall 2021 to enroll for my admission.
Thanks Best Regards In essence you want to pursue a second degree? If yes.. Its not advisable cos you have a lot of explanation to do like why a degree now. What have you been doing since you finished secondary school For the bolded, its possible to gain admission but I dont think you can use the admission letter for your current SP application thats if you have applied |

chloride6: Can N5m run this Canda package?
I'm asking for my sis...
Currently trying to book IELTS for her. I think she will write the academic one then.
But she studied Mass Comm in Nigeria, graduated with 2.1. She wants to do something journalism related and then settle there.
That's why I'm asking if 5m can run the package.
Thanks No it can not work with 5m. You need your tuition fee for a year plus $10,000 living expenses to be in your account. I doubt converted to naira it is less than 5m. You need more. IELTS is not required for canadian education for Nigerians . |

Ujeinijobog: Hello everyone
I need some advice please. I deferred my admission from fall 2020 to fall 2021 and I want to inform IRCC through a letter of explanation. My question are as follows:
1. How many pages should the LOE should be?
2. What I should include as the content of the LOE?
3. Is it necessary to include this as one of the actual reason I deferred i.e. the fact that I was interested in the PGWP and I deferred my admission when IRCC first made the rule that the time spent online will not count towards the eligibility for post graduation work permit. And by the time the two stage rule came in, it was too late to retract my admission because classes were full so I had to defer to fall 2021, the next session for my program.
Thank you. All you need to do is to send the updated admission letter to IRCC via webform . |

The amount in the sponsors accounts was enough to take care of the second semester school fees, living expenses and others, having already paid the first semester fees (its a one year PGC). The Pension was only meant to supplement it Adding the bolded made the source of income look like you were gathering every available resources to aid your Canadian dreams. I will advise in your reapplication, pls send the money for your living expenses to your own account. |
