Rock247: I was as at when I applied, My goal has always been to be self employed and the course at the school is meant to broaden my knowledge on the matter and facilitate my goal of being an entrepreneur in my field, of which I stated in my SOP. I am currently working on my own and waiting for my study application to work out.. As self-employed, did you register the business or show you have a business with a name and its registered. I no.. Then the vo saw there wasnt a cv or like you claimed self-employed with no business name or registered business name to prove your claim. Thats why the vo said current employment situation. The vo felt you are not working |

TeeMade: Hello house, I'm new here and I need advise from all the experts in the house. I submitted an SP application on August 28th, completed biometrics of September 2nd and got a final decision today, a refusal on the basis that they're not convinced that I will leave Canada after my studies.
An agent I spoke to said everything about my application was accurate but the fact that I said my 2year old daughter will come with me. This is funny cos my husband remains in Nigeria and even wrote a letter of sponsorship as he is the major sponsor for the trip. Sufficient funds were provided too for both my daughter and myself. I also included that she'll be registered in a Daycare upon arrival in Canada.
The agent has advised that I reapply but state that my daughter won't come with me. She is a US citizen who can actually travel with me without a visa so i was only being honest in my application by stating that she'll be coming with me. I am concerned that even if i say she will no longer come with me, will that be believable since she actually has a document with which she can conveniently travel.
Please advise and lastly, i will like to get the IRCC's email address. Thank you all. Pls order for your gcms note first before reapplying. The reason for the denial might not necessarily be about your child but might be for something else which is why I said order for your gcms note. |

UBCcookies: Hello everyone, please I need your advice. I have started my online fall class for MEng Electrical which is a 2yrs course with internship but it has the option of finishing it in 12months without internship. Now I got an email from the school advising us to either choose the non-internship stream which is to be run in 12months or defer to September 2021 because they got the information that processing time for work permit for co-op is now 7-9months so we might not be in Canada to apply ahead for it.. The deadline for deferral is 21st September and we need to select our courses well so we can complete 50% of it in person in Canada to be eligible for PGWP. My question is if I choose the 1yr stream how many years PGWP will I be eligible for? I have AIP now and I have deferred before. What if January class is online if they decide to extend travel restriction. Help o please, my mind is full. A 1yr program gives you just a year PGWP. If you have AIP, you can defer to September 2021. But again the final decision lies with you |

ConradAce1: I think the Diploma got an issue. Would have been a PGD. OK. uncle or mum transferring is good. Would I need to present her documents as in certificate of registration, tax payer card, certificate of non bankruptcy... like I did earlier ?
she is working. Submitted employment verification letter, past 5 month pay slip, leave letter for studies,
What people who reapply, do they often get a study permit ? What are the chances ?
I’m thinking of seeking an immigration consultation. For the bolded, yes.. Yes, people have reapplied and got it in their 2-4th trial. I will advise against the immigration consultation unless you have the money, reason is this, the purpose of visit is logical, why would a HND graduate be going for a diploma and not a PGD. Though I tot you said she had a 3rd class. Again I will advice you tell the girl to come on nairaland to seek better understanding. |

Your school, choice of program, effort put in to get admission and off course as you rightly said, how you package your application.
