I am not spoiling anyone's business ...I don't just derive joy in other people's misfortune . As a car dealer I also had difficulty doing business with people at Berger. Underline were I said ...he has to go with someone he can trust and that person must know someone trustworthy there. when a man is going to strange location , is important he goes with someone that knows the terrain . I am not forcing him to patronise me but if he chooses , he will join thousands of happy clients that have encountered me. Lots of them are here . For your information I have been doing car business successfully on nairaland for over 10 years now. To me is an achievement . That no client has claimed any misconduct from me ...is an achievement

MC is marriage committee.

Anyway, for me there are more issues you should be bothered about. After marriage, will she still be going to her church?

If yes, just know that you have ceded your right to that church.
The Church will be the one to decide how to bleeped your wife and and what kind of relationship to have with your wife.

If no, will your wife still be going to that church for spiritual advice. That means you are in bigger soup. The church will know everything that happens in your house. Every little quarrel will be settled by the church.

You are getting married to a woman who is indecisive about her life. I wish you best of luck.
You made a lot points here as if you know what i am passing through with her.

You are getting married to a woman who is indecisive about her life. My major issue with her.
RomancePlease Read Below And Advise Me by another1(op):
Good morning great people,

I have an issue at hand now that I need your input. I was in a serious relationship with a lady, we both live the same city. After prayers and studying each other as well as both families approval, we decided to approached her church for approval of our courtship.

She went to her church for registration and interview, she was told to invite me of course which i went. After much talk and introduction, questions and answers, I was told that since we met through a friend, that it was not acceptable in their doctrine.

Please be reminded that I personally went there more than 5 times i mean their church mc and she too did same to tried convinced them to change their mind. We committed no crime, she haven`t visited or know my place for over 3 and half years we are dating because she said it is against their church mc doctrine.

Now, the issue is this, after all the stress and pain to get approval from her church marriage committee ended exercise in futility her family called me for a meeting in their place where we concluded that we are going to their village for both traditional marriage and wedding with their village church. I accepted in good faith, marriage list was given to me, we also fixed date for both and communicated with the village church about our plan and they accepted. Just last week she told me that her church mc invited her and her dad after 4 months and she wouldn`t be around till September and her dad said all our plans with village church must be on hold pending when she come back to answer her church mc that wasted our time.

I am confused, please advise me what to do.

Ceenachi:
Then stop dollar being a legal tender on Nigeria soil. Naira is our own currency and that should be the currency for local transactions. When it comes to foreign transactions, there should be electronic conversion via commercial banks ( through individual account that is domiciled in a commercial banks) and this does not involve physical touch of Dollars . Our leaders know what to do but there is no political will to do it
Can you go to United States and find Naira being moved physically ? Or China ?
.
Oh my God
God bless you abundantly.

PoliticsJUST IN: Kanu: Trial Stalled Over DSS’ Failure To Produce Him by another1(op): 1:17pm On Jul 26, 2021
The planned resumption of proceedings in the trial of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu was stalled on Monday owing to failure of the Department of State Services (DSS) to produce him in court.

Justice Binta Nyako said nothing could be done in the case in the absence of the defendant, who the lead prosecuting lawyer,Mohammed Abubakar, said was not in court owing to logistic reasons.
Justice Nyako ordered the DSS to allow Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor access to his client.

She promised to work with lawyers to the prosecution and defence and head of the security team to work out a plan to allow Ejiofor access to his client.

Ejiofor had complained that he has not been able to see his client for the past eight days.

He said he was informed yesterday that Kanu was moved from where he was being kept.

Justice Nyako then adjourned till October 21 but said the date could be brought back if the prosecution was able to obtain a fiat from the court’s Chief Judge to allow proceedings during the ongoing vacation of the court.

Politics2023: Northern Lawmakers Back Bello For Presidency by another1(op): 3:52pm On Jul 16, 2021
The Nigeria Northern States Legislatures Forum, yesterday backed a Nigerian of Northern extraction to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari whose second in office comes to an end on May 29, 2023.

The forum stated this in a communiqué issued at the end of an advocacy meeting convened by the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole, for the 2023 Presidential ambition of the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

The forum in the communiqué read by the National Chairman, Conference of Nigeria States Legislatures Speakers, Hon. Abubakar Suleiman said that contrary to the southern governors’ demand, the north deserves to retain the plum office in 2023.

“The meeting reviewed the rotational Presidency as advocated recently by the Southern Governors’ Forum. However, the Northern legislators believe the rotation of the Presidency should be in favour of the Northern part of the country.

“This is because, from 1999, the Southern part of the country has ruled the country for 14 years while the north will be 10 years at the end of President Buhari’s tenure in 2023,’’ the communiqué read in part.

The meeting attended by four delegates each from 18 of the Northern states, also resolved that Bello was competent and has the cognate experience to fix the challenges bedeviling the country.

They however advised the 46-years old Bello to embark on nationwide consultation as soon as possible.

“The forum resolved that every legislator should go back home with a view to advocating and consulting his or her constituents and stakeholders on the presidential aspiration of Bello.

“We also resolved that a National Working Committee be constituted with a view to having wider consultation on Bello presidential aspiration across the country,” they added.

Earlier in his remarks, Kolawole faulted the clamour for a Southern President by governors of the 17 Southern states, adding that rotational Presidency is not in the nation’s constitution.

He urged all legislators elected under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Northern states to rally around the Presidential ambition of Bello as preferred choice of the ruling party in 2023.

He particularly tasked the North Central to walk the whole distance by supporting Bello’s ambition, adding that since the attainment of independence over six decades ago, the zone had not produced the President of Nigeria.

“It is evident that Nigerians deserve a leader that is young, vibrant and competent with the capacity to deliver,” he said, adding that Bello “fits in to take our great country to another level of development considering his giant strides in the area of security, youths and women inclusion in governance.”

Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Olarewaju Adetiba, said that seeking support for Bello was key to sustain the achievements by President Muhammadu-Buhari led administration since the party took over power in 2015.

PoliticsBREAKING: Yorubas In Diaspora Protest Attack On Sunday Igboho’s Residence by another1(op): 4:21pm On Jul 02, 2021
Yorubas in Diaspora on Friday protested at the Nigerian Embassy in United Kingdom over the attack launched by the Department of State Services (DSS) on the residence of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho on Thursday.

The protest, which was monitored by The Nation, observed that the protesters chanted different solidarity songs, and also displayed placards.

They condemned the invasion and attack on his residence, adding that Igboho is a peaceful man.

Some of the placards read: “Location 419.. #YorubaNationNow, “Yoruba Nation. No going back”, “Sunday Igboho is a man of the people”, “Oduduwa Nation must stand.”

A Pro-Yoruba Nation protester, Peter Oladele said, “We are here to inform the UK embassy that enough is enough. Look at the criminal atrocities committed by criminal herdsmen; we are not going to back down. Sunday Igboho is not a terrorist.”

Another protester Grace Dada said, “What did Igboho do to the federal government? Gumi is there patronising bandits, why didn’t they arrest him?

“They killed two persons, we want them to release those arrested. We are not criminal, Yorubas are peaceful people. Since Igboho has been doing the rally, it has been peaceful.”

The Nation had reported Olayomi Koiki, Spokesperson of Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, saying the Yoruba nation rally scheduled for July 3 in Lagos will still take place despite police order.
